8a500fd093 TTY / Serial driver update for 7.2-rc1
Here is the big set of TTY and Serial driver updates for 7.2-rc1.
Overall we end up removing more code than added, due to an obsolete
synclink_gt driver being removed from the tree, always a nice thing to
 see happen.

Other than that driver removal, major things included in here are:
   - max310x serial driver updates and fixes
   - 8250 driver updates and rework in places to make it more "modern"
   - dts file updates
   - serial driver core tweaks and updates
   - vt code cleanups
   - vc_screen crash fixes
   - other minor driver updates and cleanups

All of these have been in linux-next for well over a week with no
 reported issues.

09fb6892f3 Devicetree updates for v7.2:
DT core:
 - Add support for handling multiple cells in "iommu-map" entries.

 - Support only 1 entry in /reserved-memory "reg" entries. Support for
more than 1 entry has been broken.

 - Fix a UAF on alloc_reserved_mem_array() failure

 - Make "ibm, phandle" handling logic specific to PPC

 - Use memcpy() instead of strcpy() for known length strings

 - Ensure __of_find_n_match_cpu_property() handles malformed "reg"
   entries

 - Add various checks that expected strings are strings before accessing
   them

 - Drop redundant memset() when unflattening DT

 DT bindings:
 - Add a DTS style checker. Currently hooked up to dt_binding_check to
   check examples.

 - Convert st,nomadik platform, ti,omap-dmm, and ti,irq-crossbar
   bindings to DT schema

 - Add Apple System Management Controller hwmon, Qualcomm Hamoa Embedded
Controller, Qualcomm IPQ6018 PWM controller, fsl,mc1323, Samsung
SOFEF01-M DDIC panel, Freescale i.MX53 Television Encoder, Samsung S2M
series PMIC extcon, and MT6365 PMIC AuxADC schemas

 - Extend bindings for QCom Maili and Nord PDC, QCom Hali fastrpc,
   qcom,eliza-imem, qcom,oryon-1-5 CPU, and MT6365 Keys

 - Consolidate "sram" property definitions

 - Fix constraints on "nvmem" properties which only contain phandles and
   no arg cells

 - Another pass of fixing "phandle-array" constraints

 - Add Gira vendor prefix

b417b241df dt-bindings: interrupt-controller: ti,irq-crossbar: Convert to DT schema
Convert TI irq-crossbar binding from text format to DT schema.

As part of conversion following changes are made:
 - Add '#interrupt-cells' as a required property which was missing in
   text binding
 - As irq-crossbar is interrupt-controller. Move binding from
   bindings/arm/omap to bindings/interrupt-controller

Convert the TI OMAP Dynamic Memory Manager (DMM) dt binding
from text format to DT schema.

During conversion following changes were made:
- Move file from /bindings/arm/omap to /bindings/soc/ti/
- Make the 'ti,hwmods' property optional and mark it deprecated as it is
no longer used, it is kept to support legacy dtbs.
- Add the missing required property 'interrupts' to example node.

86036ee1aa dt-bindings: arm: fsl: Add solidrun lx2160a twins board
The SolidRun LX2160A Twins board supports two configurations, one with
with a single CEX-7 module, and one with two (dual).

The single configuration is a specific assembly that maximises
connectivity for single cpu by routing some second cpu resources to the
first via zero-Ohm resistors.

The dual configuration was not yet tested and is intentionally omitted.

Initial review strongly suggests that the dual configuration will have
different bindings, because from either cpu point of view the board
appears different (e.g. different number of sfp, fewer i2c gpio).

Add binding for the single variant only.

aa7066248f dt-bindings: arm: qcom: Document Xiaomi Poco F1 Tianma variant
Document the panel-specific compatible string for the Tianma variant
of the Xiaomi Poco F1:

  - "xiaomi,beryllium-tianma"

and require the generic fallback compatible:

  - "xiaomi,beryllium"

Update the binding to clarify that all panel variants must list the
variant-specific compatible first, followed by the generic device
compatible, in accordance with DT matching rules.

The previous binding documentation did not describe the Tianma variant
and did not clearly specify the required fallback compatible, which
resulted in inconsistent DTS implementations.

No functional differences are currently exposed between Tianma and EBBG
variants at the binding level; both rely on the same generic device
compatibility for software support.
