1c5e6cd829 drm/amd/display: adjust floating point format for gamut remap when needed
[Why]
The MPCCs different gamut remap matrices allow for S2D13 and S3D12 floating
point formats, but only S2D13 is used. There may be cases where more
integer bits are required.

[How]
Switch to S3D12 if any entries in the remap matrix cannot fit in S2D13.
Otherwise, prefer the extra precision of S2D13. Communicate the max value
that hw can support to dm via dc color caps.

b23470a026 drm/amd/display: Exit LS for ISHARP before coefficient write

4d8cfd5703 drm/amd/display: Check for sharpening case when calculating max vtaps for scaler

64b4c4cdfd drm/amd/display: Fix type mismatches using guards and explicit casts
[Why]
Address signed/unsigned comparison warnings across dc paths to keep
builds warning-clean and improve type safety at comparison boundaries.
Most warnings came from signed loop/index temporaries compared against
unsigned counters and table sizes, plus a smaller number of mixed
signed/unsigned clock, bandwidth, and geometry comparisons.

[How]
Aligned iterator and temporary variable types with the semantic type
of the compared bounds. Used unsigned indices for loops bounded by unsigned
counters and table sizes, while retaining signed types where values are
semantically signed or participate in arithmetic that may legitimately go
negative. Where mixed signed/unsigned comparisons are intentional, applied
explicit boundary casts or guarded comparisons instead of broad type
changes.

No functional behavior changes are intended; this is a warning-resolution
and type-alignment cleanup.

13ff4f63fc drm/amd/display: Don't program BLNDGAM_MEM_PWR_FORCE when CM low-power is disabled on DCN30
Before commit 33056a97ae ("drm/amd/display: Remove double checks for
`debug.enable_mem_low_power.bits.cm`"), dpp3_program_blnd_lut(NULL)
checked the low-power debug flag before calling
dpp3_power_on_blnd_lut(false).

After commit 33056a97ae ("drm/amd/display: Remove double checks for
`debug.enable_mem_low_power.bits.cm`"), dpp3_program_blnd_lut(NULL)
unconditionally calls dpp3_power_on_blnd_lut(false). The BLNDGAM power
helper writes BLNDGAM_MEM_PWR_FORCE when CM low-power is disabled, causing
immediate SRAM power toggles instead of deferring at vupdate. This can
disrupt atomic color/LUT sequencing during transitions between
direct scanout and composition within gamescope's DRM backend on
Steam Deck OLED.

To fix this, leave the BLNDGAM power state unchanged when low-power is
disabled, matching dpp3_power_on_hdr3dlut and dpp3_power_on_shaper.

8e8691ecee drm/amd/display: Driver implementation for cursor offloading to DMU
[Why]
We require an interlock between driver and firmware for upcoming
features and given that this could possibly happen on any single
cursor programming call (and that we can't asynchronously wait for
firmware to respond because of it) we'd be regressing cursor performance
by at least an extra 40us per call.

When we could possibly have cursor update every 20us - 100s from high
frequency gaming mice this means that we'd be stuttering or dropping
updates and impacting overall cursor performance.

We want a solution that can:

1. Interlock between other firmware features
2. Not stall out or require the DMCUB lock for every single update

[How]
When cursor offloading is enabled and supported by an ASIC driver will
route the cursor programming through to DMU as part of the regular
DC stream cursor programming interfaces for attributes and position.

The atomic pipe programming version will not be updated: this will still
follow the existing programming path by keeping track of a field that
specifies when the register writes should be deferred to DMU.

Cursor locking is not required when cursor offload is in progress since
the updates are consolidated and processed by DMU once at the end
of the frame in a periodic manner.

The shared buffer the firmware queries from is allocated along with the
rest of the scratch state region in an area that's accessible by
both firmware and driver.

The size of the cursor offload (v1) state will not change, but it does
have a unique union per ASIC version with room for expansion if needed.

When firmware features notifying DMU of DRR updates are not enabled we
now send an explicit vtotal min/max update via driver to DMU firmware
whenever the vtotal max changes. This is to allow the cursor programming
to determine the appropriate latch update point offset from vupdate.

024771f3fb drm/amd/display: Optimize cursor position updates
[why]
Updating the cursor enablement register can be a slow operation and accumulates
when high polling rate cursors cause frequent updates asynchronously to the
cursor position.

[how]
Since the cursor enable bit is cached there is no need to update the
enablement register if there is no change to it. This removes the
read-modify-write from the cursor position programming path in HUBP and
DPP, leaving only the register writes.

01130f5260 drm/amd/display: Add hubp cache reset when powergating
[Why]
When HUBP is power gated, the SW state can get out of sync with the
hardware state causing cursor to not be programmed correctly.

[How]
Similar to DPP, add a HUBP reset function which is called wherever
HUBP is initialized or powergated. This function will clear the cursor
position and attribute cache allowing for proper programming when the
HUBP is brought back up.

f3928f3d48 drm/amd/display: store sharpness 1dlut table in dscl_prog_data
[Why]
Previously dscl_prog_data stored pointer to sharpness 1dlut table.
SPL had four pre-generated tables, one for each setup. This allowed
us to minimize number of times we had to recalculate table when
switching between setups.
However, with dual display, this becomes an issue because for a given
setup, we could have a different per app sharpness value than the
global sharpness value. So the pre-generated table will change
but both displays may point to the same table and one of them
will have the wrong sharpness setting.

[How]
Store the sharpness 1dlut table in dscl_prog_data. This ensures
that each display can have its own sharpness setting.

a6f59c0445 drm/amd/display: correct register Clock Gater incorrectly disabled
[why]
The "dpp35_dppclk_control" routine is incorrectly disabling the register clock gater
when the DPP is enabled.

The "DISPCLK_R_GATE_DISABLE" should never be set to 1 in the normal operating mode.
This will disable the clock gater and the DPPCLK register clock branch will always be running.
As a consequence, the dynamic power will be higher than expected.

4c4e9cb58d drm/amd/display: Add missing kdoc entry for 'bs_coeffs_updated' in dpp401_dscl_program_isharp
This commit addresses a missing kdoc for the 'bs_coeffs_updated'
parameter in the 'dpp401_dscl_program_isharp' function. The
'bs_coeffs_updated' is a flag indicating whether the Blur and Scale
Coefficients have been updated.

The 'dpp401_dscl_program_isharp' function is responsible for programming
the isharp, which includes setting the isharp filter, noise gain, and
blur and scale coefficients. If the 'bs_coeffs_updated' flag is set to
true, the function updates the blur and scale coefficients.
