Mostly the usual clk driver updates and new SoC additions plus non-critical
data fixes for things that weren't used yet. One thing that's new here in the core is SSC spread spectrum support (SSC) in the clk provider API. The idea is that DT authors will configure SSC for certain clks and they'll be configured at clk provider registration time or when a consumer device is probed, similar to how we handle assigned clk rates or parents. On the clk driver side we have Qualcomm adding almost half the diff because they add support for 4 different SoCs and then a long tail of other SoCs like Mediatek, Renesas, Rockchip, SpaceMiT, etc. add more SoC support this time around. Luckily it's mostly clk data for these new SoCs because the actual clk_ops are already there. Beyond the new drivers we get all the little fixups for more compilation coverage or usage of more modern APIs. That all looks normal. Finally, I kinda buried the lead, I'm bringing on Brian and Jerome to help out with maintaining the clk subsystem. The current working model is already semi-distributed in that silicon vendors typically take care of their drivers and send me pull requests but I'm becoming a bottleneck for new drivers and core framework review because this has become a 100% volunteer effort on my part. Mike is stepping down after all these years (thanks Mike!) and that jump started the conversation around finding co-maintainers. Brian and Jerome have graciously offered to help me with the work load, meaning in the future they'll be sending pull requests and committing directly to the clk.git tree. They've both been around on the list for a while, I've met them both in person, and they've been making changes to the core clk framework along with helping review patches so I'm pretty confident this will work well. Char/Misc/IIO/etc driver update for 7.3-rc1
Here is the big set of char, misc, iio, counter, fpga, and other small
driver subsystems for 7.3-rc1.
Overall, due to some driver removals we only added a bit more code than
removed, which was a nice change. Highlights in this merge request are:
- Loads of IIO driver updates and additions
- binder driver updates (more on that below...)
- Removal of the SGI XP and GRU drivers as they are not used anymore
and turn out to be pretty insecure overall
- Removal of the obsolete ibmasm driver as it's not being used anymore
- Coresight driver updates and additions
- Mei driver udpates
- Counter driver updates
- FPGA driver updates
- ICC driver updates
- lots and lots of other tiny driver updates to resolve reported
issues
All of these have been in linux-next for a while, with the only reported
issues being some major merge conflicts. Miguel pointed out some of
these with the Rust tree merge, which is the majority of them. I'll
follow up with a diffstat of the merge resolution I made against your
most recent tree, which works for me.

regulator: Updates for v7.3
This is a relatively quiet release for the regulator API, we've had no
major core work and not really that much driver work either. There's a
bunch of activity, including several new devices, but nothing hugely
remarkable here.
- Reworking of the mode handling in the max14577 driver to fix issues
with collisions with enables.
- Support for onsemi FAN53555BUC23X, Qualcomm IPQ9650, PM4125 VBUS and
PM8150B and Unisoc SC2730.

SDM660 sound card and internal MI2S support
Richard Acayan <mailingradian@gmail.com> says: This adds support for the SDM660 (formerly "SDM660 internal") sound card and support for WCD codecs over internal MI2S (represented in APIs as LPI MI2S). Like on MSM8916 and MSM8953, some SDM660 and SDM670 devices connect to a digital and analog codec. The connection to the digital codec is through special "internal" MI2S ports. The digital and analog codecs are used on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 for headset (playback + capture) and earpiece, and also on the Google Pixel 3a for the headset. This series does not include devicetree patches. Link: https://patch.msgid.link/20260730174353.108023-1-mailingradian@gmail.com |

ASoC: dt-bindings: qcom: add LPASS LPR vote clock ID
Add a new clock ID, LPASS_HW_LPR_VOTE, to represent the LPASS low-power resource (LPR) vote through the PRM interface. The LPASS PRM supports a resource voting mechanism to control low-power states via PARAM_ID_RSC_CPU_LPR. Exposing this as a q6prm clock ID allows clients to request the LPR vote using the existing qcom,q6prm clock provider interface. This functionality is required on newer platforms (e.g. Hawi) where LPASS clients need to explicitly manage LPR resource voting via PRM. regulator: handle regulator late cleanup race with PM suspend
Joy Zou <joy.zou@oss.nxp.com> says: The regulator_init_complete_work fires ~30s after boot to disable unused regulators via I2C. dt-bindings: i3c: Add mipi-i3c-static-method to support SETAASA
Add the 'mipi-i3c-static-method' property mentioned in the MIPI I3C Discovery and Configuration Specification [1] to specify which discovery method an I3C device supports during bus initialization. The property is a bitmap, where a bit value of 1 indicates support for that method, and 0 indicates lack of support. Bit 0: SETDASA CCC (Direct) Bit 1: SETAASA CCC (Broadcast) Bit 2: Other CCC (vendor / standards extension) All other bits are reserved. It is specifically needed when an I3C device requires SETAASA for the address assignment. SETDASA will be supported by default if this property is absent, which means for now the property just serves as a flag to enable SETAASA, but keep the property as a bitmap to align with the specifications. SoC fixes for 7.2
There are only three devicetree fixes this time: one critical memory
corruption fix for Renesas and three minor corrections for Tegra.
The MAINTAINERS file is updated for a new maintainer of the CIX platform
and two address changes.
The rest is all driver fixes, mostly firmware:
- multiple runtime issues in ARM SCMI and FF-A firmware code, dealing
with error handling for corner cases in firmware.
- multiple fixes for reset drivers, dealing with individual platform
specific mistakes and more error handling
- minor build and runtime fixes for the Tegra SoC drivers

dt-bindings: soc: mobileye: Add EyeQ7H OLB
The Other Logic Blocks (OLB) found in Mobileye SoCs contain hardware sub-functions grouped in a logical device. The EyeQ7H features 14 such OLB. The main differences with the previous generation of SoC are that some blocks have two clock sources instead of one and that the clock source can be the one of the clock output of another OLB instead of the main oscillator. For the blocks with a single parent clock, the name of that clock is "ref", similar to what is done for the OLB of the previous SoC. The blocks with two parent clocks use either "ref" for the main oscillator, "ref_100p0" for a 100MHz reference clock or "ref_106p6" for 106.6MHz reference clock. Some OLB also contain a reset controller with one or more reset domain, like the blocks found in the EyeQ6H.
