ba42bb2813 wifi: rtw89: mac: add specific case to dump mac memory for RTL8922D
The RTL8922D can reuse most mac memory addresses, but only
RTW89_MAC_MEM_SECURITY_CAM is different from existing one. Add a function
to return the specific memory address for RTL8922D.

829b89c2b0 wifi: rtw89: replace RF mutex with wiphy lock assertion
Now, stack has introduced wiphy lock. And, the normal paths calling
RF read/write should be under wiphy lock. So, replace RF mutex with

be28b2c4ee wifi: rtw89: move disabling dynamic mechanism functions to core
Some dynamic mechanism (DM) may need to be disabled during some normal

a72de4d459 wifi: rtw89: debug: add SER SW counters to count simulation
Some chipsets, e.g. Wi-Fi 7, will not record SER (system error recovery),
which are triggered by simulations, in the HW counters. Their HW counters
only record the SER happen in field. However for verification, it's still
needed to check if simulations are triggered. So, add SW counters to count
any causes that SER happen. But, SW can only count L1 and L2. SW does not
involve L0 SER, so SW cannot count it.

bf4afc53b7 Convert 'alloc_obj' family to use the new default GFP_KERNEL argument
This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

69050f8d6d treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar types
This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

6070a44051 wifi: rtw89: debug: Fix memory leak in __print_txpwr_map()
In __print_txpwr_map(), memory is allocated to bufp via vzalloc().
If max_valid_addr is 0, the function returns -EOPNOTSUPP immediately
without freeing bufp, leading to a memory leak.

Since the validation of max_valid_addr does not depend on the allocated
memory, fix this by moving the vzalloc() call after the check.

Compile tested only. Issue found using a prototype static analysis tool
and code review.

24c776355f kernel.h: drop hex.h and update all hex.h users
Remove <linux/hex.h> from <linux/kernel.h> and update all users/callers of
hex.h interfaces to directly #include <linux/hex.h> as part of the process
of putting kernel.h on a diet.

Removing hex.h from kernel.h means that 36K C source files don't have to
pay the price of parsing hex.h for the roughly 120 C source files that
need it.

This change has been build-tested with allmodconfig on most ARCHes. Also,
all users/callers of <linux/hex.h> in the entire source tree have been
updated if needed (if not already #included).

7bf433c676 wifi: rtw89: debug: add parser to diagnose along DIAG_MAC fw element
The rules to diagnose MAC have a common header, and a cmd field is used
to know the exact command and its format. The rules with the same tuple of
fields {sheet, seq} can be seen as a set of compound rules, which treat
it as positive rule if just one of the rules is positive.

Take EQUALV rules as example, if value of {addr, mask} is equal to
predefined value as field val, a rule is positive. Fields addr_name_offset
and msg_offset are offsets related to textual messages for human readable.

Format of common rule header (8 bytes)
 +-------+-----+--------+-----------+-----+---------+
 | sheet | cmd | seq[2] | io / band | len | rsvd[2] |
 +-------+-----+--------+-----------+-----+---------+

Format of rule command is EQUALV (equal value) (24 bytes):
 +------+------------------+------+-----+------------+---------+
 | addr | addr_name_offset | mask | val | msg_offset | rsvd[4] |
 +------+------------------+------+-----+------------+---------+

Format of message:
 +-----+----------+
 | len | string[] |
 +-----+----------+

An example of output:
 Plain(Ignore)/Rules/Positive: 115(4)/86/81

Where, Plain is total rules written in firmware element.
Ignore is the ignored rules, such as USB IO, but current is PCIE.
Rules is number of set of compound rules.
Positive is number of positive Rules.

e6badd999a wifi: rtw89: debug: support SER L0 simulation
SER (system error recovery) can deal with different crash types by
different levels of processes. Now, add a debug function to trigger
MAC error in purpose for SER L0 simulation/verification. And, extend
dbgfs fw_crash to accept different parameters.

    # simulate MAC error (one kind of SER L0)
    echo 3 > fw_crash

Normally, FW won't report SER L0 cases to driver. Instead, they will
be handled by FW directly. If unfortunately FW handling fails, SER
will rise to L1 and be reported to driver.

5693bdd58d wifi: rtw89: introduce fw feature group and redefine CRASH_TRIGGER
Some FW features may have variants on how to deal with in leaf functions,
e.g. H2C commands. However, from SW component point of view, it might not
matter which variant is supported exactly. In some cases, SW component may
just care whether any of the variants is supported or not.

So, introduce a concept of FW feature group which can manage a set of FW
features and can easily be checked if at least one of them is supported.

Since CRASH_TRIGGER will have variants and then matches the case mentioned
above, so redefine CRASH_TRIGGER as a FW feature group and add a variant
of type 0 for original handling.

by using a higher resolution conversion from dBm to linear. During

ed114a7ac6 wifi: rtw89: manual cosmetic along lockdep_assert_wiphy()
With spatch script, already remove most driver mutex and generate
lockdep_assert_wiphy(), and some are needed to refine manually further to
be expected:

- lockdep_assert_wiphy() always be the first statement in function
- return directly rather than unnecessary goto
- change assert from mutex to wiphy lock, which script can't convert
  automatically.

Dynamic Antenna Gain (DAG) adjusts the transmit power based on the

63aca17262 wifi: rtw89: add thermal protection
To prevent chip overheating, reduce TX duty as the mechanism of thermal
protection. When temperature is raising over a threshold, send a firmware
command to reduce TX duty. If temperature is still raising, higher level
is adopted to have lower active duration.

The equation and unit of thermal values are different from chip to chip,
so define constant thresholds of thermal value to corresponding absolute
temperature of 110 and 120 degree Celsius.

Latter patch will decide which thermal threshold is adopted, and current
is still not enable thermal protection.

For debugging, add a flag to disable_dm that thermal protection can be
disabled to clarify low throughput in field.

     14 -------- | |
                 | /
                 |/

N.B. For cases of non-MLD connection, we set our link instance-0
active with link_id 0. So, our code flow can be compatible between
	non-MLD connection and MLD connection.

Based on above, we tweak entire driver architecture first. But, we don't
dynamically enable multiple links here. That will be handled separately.
Most of the things changed here are changing flows to iterate all active
links and read bss_conf/link_sta data according to target link. And, for
cases of scan, ROC, WOW, we use instance-0 to deal with the request.

There are some things listed below, which work for now but need to extend
before multiple active links.
	1. tx path
select suitable link instance among multiple active links
	2. rx path
determine rx link by PPDU instead of always link instance-0
	3. CAM
apply MLD pairwise key to any active links dynamically

Besides, PS code cannot easily work along with tweaking architecture. With
supporting MLO flag (currently false), we disable PS first and will fix it
by another commit in the following.

HW design.
	1. one link is bound to one HW band during its life time
but, one link might change chanctx dynamically
	2. in concurrent mode, assume 1st vif is MLD
1st vif's 2nd link might use the same chanctx as 2nd vif
but, they are not on the same HW band
So, we let sub_entity_xxx stuffs deal with only chanctx now. And, to be

39e9b56919 wifi: rtw89: mac: use pointer to access functions of hardware engine and quota
To share flow with WiFi 7 chips, abstract functions related hardware
engines and their quota, so use pointer to access them. This doesn't change
logic at all.

d371c3aa35 wifi: rtw89: debug: add debugfs entry to disable dynamic mechanism
A dynamic mechanism is usually an algorithm to adjust registers to adapt
to different environment every two seconds. In field, it could get
unexpected result, so we need to stop it and adjust registers manually, and
then fine tune the algorithm.

To stop mechanisms to assist debugging, add a debugfs entry shown as

  Disabled DM: 0x1
  [0] DYNAMIC_EDCCA: X
