4867cef03b drm/amd/display: Restore analog connector support
[Why]
The analog connector support was accidentally removed,
causing a crash when connecting an analog monitor.

[How]
This patch restores the functions and pointers required for proper analog
and DP bridge encoder support on legacy GPUs.

V2: Restore the external encoder control functions.

V3:
 - Restore BIOS parser external encoder DAC load detection
 - Restore stream initialization and source selection changes

f82480fafe drm/amd/display: Fixed Silence complier warnings in dc
[Why]
Resolve compiler warnings by marking unused parameters explicitly.

[How]
In .c and .h function definitions, keep parameter names
in signatures and add a line with `(void)param;` in function body

Preserved function signatures and avoids breaking code paths that
may reference the parameter under conditional compilation.

ee212b0208 drm/amd/display: Avoid turning off the PHY when OTG is running for DVI
[Why]
The OTG's virtual pixel clock source for DVI comes from the PHY.

If the signal type is DVI then the OTG can become stuck on pre DCN401
ASIC when DPMS off occurs because the OTG remains running but the
PHY transmitter is disabled.

[How]
There exists logic to keep track of the OTG running refcount on the
link to determine if the link needs to go to PLL_EN instead of TX_EN
but the logic only checks for HDMI TMDS on older ASIC.

DVI is still a TMDS signal type so the constraint should also apply.

Replace the checks for dc_is_hdmi_tmds_signal with dc_is_tmds_signal to
cover both HDMI and DVI for the symclk refcount workaround.

9f556ac2e3 drm/amd/display: Add DCE HWSS support for external DP bridge encoders
Some GPUs use external DP bridge encoders NUTMEG and TRAVIS
to implement analog and/or LVDS connections. Typically found in
CIK APU based laptops or on FM2 motherboards that have analog
connectors. These were necessary at the time because Kaveri
didn't have a built-in DAC nor LVDS support.

These devices sadly don't work transparently and need to be
controlled by the driver. Implement the necessary control for
the NUTMEG and TRAVIS encoders in the DCE HWSS.

For reference, see the legacy non-DC amdgpu display code:
amdgpu_atombios_encoder_setup_external_encoder()
amdgpu_atombios_encoder_setup_dig()
amdgpu_atombios_encoder_setup_ext_encoder_ddc()

- Prepare DDC before using it:
Call the EXTERNAL_ENCODER_CONTROL_DDC_SETUP action so that
the encoder knows to set up DDC over the AUX channel.

- When a stream is enabled or disabled:
  Call the EXTERNAL_ENCODER_CONTROL_ENABLE/DISABLE actions.

- Before enabling the DP link:
  Call the EXTERNAL_ENCODER_CONTROL_SETUP action.

This commit just hooks up the HWSS support.
Detecting the external DP bridge encoders will be done in
a subsequent commit.

f7d1c50aec drm/amd/display: Refactor DAC load detection, move to HWSS
Slightly refactor and simplify DAC load detection.
This prepares the code to be used for also executing DAC
load detection on external DP bridge encoders.

DAC load detection belongs better in the hardware sequencer
code because the implementation is HW dependent and not all
chips support the functionality. The code is cleaner when
link detection probably doesn't call the VBIOS directly.

8cee62904c drm/amd/display: Disable FEC when powering down encoders
[why & how]
VBIOS DMCUB FW can enable FEC for capable eDPs, but S/W DC state is
only updated for link0 when transitioning into OS with driver loaded.
This causes issues when the eDP is immediately hidden and DIG0 is
assigned to another link that does not support FEC. Driver will
attempt to disable FEC but FEC enablement occurs based on the link
state, which does not have fec_state updated since it is a different
link. Thus, FEC disablement on DIG0 will get skipped and cause no

9c6669c2e2 drm/amd/display: Fix Link Override Sequencing When Switching Between DIO/HPO
[WHY]
When performing certain link maintenance compliance tests or forcing link
settings, changing between 128b/132b and 8b/10b rates no longer works on
some ASICs. Some rate divider updates only occur when we set
timings or validate state, which is not performed currently when toggling
DPMS to change rates.

[HOW]
Re-calculate dividers and reprogram audio when switching between DIO
and HPO through DP compliance/escape code path.
Add OTG disable/re-enable so we don't touch the clock while OTG is active.
Acquire dcLock before forcing link settings to avoid thread synchronization
errors due to added programming in escape code path and potential HPD
interrupts.

90bc60cef2 drm/amd/display: Don't disable dtb as dto src during dpms off

Adjusting otg dto programming in this path is unsafe otg may be en at
this time, swapping its src sel for example was discovered to cause
visual artifacts and was moved to dcn31_program_pix_clk (where otg is

dcn31_program_pix_clk is called during dpms on, so until that point
we will have a otg with functional src sel set (Sel DTBclk) and that
functional clk dto en is unset (i.e DTB DTO EN), which is invalid and tg
will not function and system will hang on something such as flip
incoming from OS during dpms off. will scope out dcn315 as it was

32be4e39f4 drm/amd/display: dont disable dtb as dto src during dpms off
fix was previously in 25.20 but was reverted out as it was accompanied
by other changes that caused regression.

[why&how]
Disabling dtb as the dto src during dpms off relies on in the same
instance being able to also alter the dto src bit to dpref (or not dtb
in general), but this was recently changed to only take place in
dcn31_program_pix_clk, as that is where we want to perform any dto src
changes because tg is off at that point, it is unsafe to do that
elsewhere. What this means is now instead of disabling dtb as dto src
and modifying source bit, we are left with the configuration for a given
tg that specifies dtb as dto src and dtb dto en simultaneously is unset.
dcn31_program_pix_clk can rectify this but its possible for us to
perform some tg dependant operation that would simply hang because when
we go to enable say crtc then, the clk we specify as dto src is "off" en
bit is cleared, source bit was never changed, and program_pix_clk hasnt
been called yet (as apart of dpms on)

We cant disable it as dto src during dpms off if we want the luxury of
performing tg dependant operation during dpms off and before dpms on.
