d129c3177d net: af_key: initialize alg_key_len for IPComp states
pfkey_msg2xfrm_state() handles the IPComp (SADB_X_SATYPE_IPCOMP) case by
allocating x->calg and copying only the algorithm name:

	x->calg = kmalloc_obj(*x->calg);
	if (!x->calg) {
		err = -ENOMEM;
		goto out;
	}
	strcpy(x->calg->alg_name, a->name);
	x->props.calgo = sa->sadb_sa_encrypt;

Unlike the authentication (x->aalg) and encryption (x->ealg) branches of
the same function, the compression branch never initializes
calg->alg_key_len. IPComp carries no key and the allocation only
reserves sizeof(struct xfrm_algo) (i.e. no room for a key), so the field
is left containing uninitialized slab data.

calg->alg_key_len is later used as a length by xfrm_algo_clone() when an
IPComp state is cloned during XFRM_MSG_MIGRATE:

	xfrm_state_migrate()
	  xfrm_state_clone_and_setup()
	    x->calg = xfrm_algo_clone(orig->calg);
	      kmemdup(orig, xfrm_alg_len(orig));

where xfrm_alg_len() returns sizeof(*alg) + (alg_key_len + 7) / 8.  With
a non-zero garbage alg_key_len, kmemdup() reads past the end of the
68-byte calg object. Adding an IPComp SA via PF_KEY and then migrating
it triggers (net-next, KASAN, init_on_alloc=0):

The XFRM netlink path is not affected: verify_one_alg() rejects an

Initialize calg->alg_key_len to 0, matching the aalg/ealg branches.

355fbcbdc2 xfrm: use compat translator only for u64 alignment mismatch
The XFRM compat layer (CONFIG_XFRM_USER_COMPAT) translates 32-bit xfrm
netlink and setsockopt messages into the native 64-bit layout. It is
only needed on architectures where the 32-bit and 64-bit ABIs disagree
on u64 alignment, which the kernel encodes as COMPAT_FOR_U64_ALIGNMENT.

That symbol is defined only by arch/x86. XFRM_USER_COMPAT depends on it,
so the translator can never be built on any other architecture,
including arm64, which still provides a 32-bit compat ABI (CONFIG_COMPAT)
for AArch32 EL0 userspace. On arm64 the AArch32 EABI already aligns u64
to 8 bytes, identical to the AArch64 ABI, so no translation is required
and the native code path is correct for 32-bit tasks.

However, xfrm_user_rcv_msg() and xfrm_user_policy() gate on
in_compat_syscall() alone and then call xfrm_get_translator(), which
returns NULL when no translator is registered. On arm64 that is always
the case, so every xfrm netlink message and the XFRM_POLICY setsockopt
issued by a 32-bit task returns -EOPNOTSUPP. A 32-bit userspace process
on arm64 (and on any other arch with CONFIG_COMPAT but without
COMPAT_FOR_U64_ALIGNMENT) therefore cannot configure XFRM state or
policy through the XFRM_USER netlink API, and cannot use the XFRM_POLICY
setsockopt path, because both fail before reaching the native parser.

The translator series replaced the blanket compat rejection with a
translator lookup. That made the path usable on x86 when the translator
is available, but left architectures that cannot build the translator
permanently rejected even when their compat layout already matches the
native layout. Let those architectures use the native parser instead.

Gate the translator requirement on COMPAT_FOR_U64_ALIGNMENT instead of
on in_compat_syscall() alone. Gating on the ABI property rather than on
CONFIG_XFRM_USER_COMPAT is deliberate: on x86 with IA32_EMULATION=y but
XFRM_USER_COMPAT=n, a 32-bit task must still be rejected rather than
routed through the native parser, which would misread genuinely
4-byte-aligned x86-32 messages. COMPAT_FOR_U64_ALIGNMENT is the ABI
property that makes the XFRM translator mandatory.

Only the receive/input direction needs the guard. The send, dump and
notification paths already call the translator as "if (xtr) { ... }"
with no error on NULL, so on arches without a translator they no-op and
the kernel emits native 64-bit-layout messages, which is what an AArch32
task expects.

Tested on Juniper SRX hardware: with the fix, 32-bit IPsec userspace
netlink and XFRM_POLICY setsockopt operations that previously failed
with -EOPNOTSUPP now succeed; x86 behaviour is unchanged by inspection.

Michael Bommarito says:

====================
tipc: fix netlink gate and receive-path bugs

This is v4 of the public TIPC series. The only change from v3 is in
patch 1: TIPC_NL_MEDIA_SET now uses GENL_UNS_ADMIN_PERM like the other
mutators, instead of GENL_ADMIN_PERM, so the whole series uses the
namespace-aware CAP_NET_ADMIN check that matches the legacy TIPC netlink
path. Patches 2 and 3 are unchanged.

Patch 1 gives the TIPCv2 mutating generic-netlink operations the admin
gate the legacy API already has, so a local unprivileged process can no
longer change TIPC state. Patch 2 drops CONN_ACK messages that
acknowledge more outstanding sends than exist, preventing the
snt_unacked underflow. Patch 3 rejects peer bindings with lower > upper,
which would otherwise leak binding-table memory.

2afb648f7b tipc: reject inverted service ranges from peer bindings
tipc_update_nametbl() inserts a binding advertised by a peer node using
the lower and upper service-range bounds taken directly from the wire,
without checking that lower <= upper. The local bind path validates the
ordering (tipc_uaddr_valid()), but the name-distribution path does not.

A binding with lower > upper is inserted at the far end of the
service-range rbtree (keyed on lower) where no lookup or withdrawal can
ever match it (service_range_foreach_match() requires sr->lower <= end).
The publication, its service_range node and the augmented rbtree entry
are then leaked for the lifetime of the namespace, and there is no
per-peer cap equivalent to TIPC_MAX_PUBL on locally created bindings.

Reject inverted ranges in the network path as well. A peer node can
otherwise leak unbounded binding-table memory by sending PUBLICATION
items with lower > upper.

ab3e10b44b tipc: prevent snt_unacked underflow on CONN_ACK
tipc_sk_conn_proto_rcv() subtracts the peer-supplied connection ack count
from the unsigned 16-bit send counter snt_unacked without checking that it
does not exceed the number of messages actually outstanding:

	tsk->snt_unacked -= msg_conn_ack(hdr);

msg_conn_ack() is read straight from a received CONN_MANAGER/CONN_ACK
message. If the ack count is larger than snt_unacked, the subtraction
wraps to a near-maximum value, leaving tsk_conn_cong() permanently true
and starving the connection of further transmits.

Validate the ACK count at the start of the CONN_ACK block and drop the
message if it acknowledges more messages than are outstanding. A peer (or,
for a local connection, the connected peer socket) can otherwise wedge a
TIPC connection's send side by sending an oversized connection ack.

86b0c540e2 tipc: require net admin for TIPCv2 netlink mutators
TIPCv2 registers mutating generic-netlink operations without admin
permission flags. Generic netlink only checks CAP_NET_ADMIN when an
operation sets GENL_ADMIN_PERM or GENL_UNS_ADMIN_PERM, so a local
unprivileged process can currently change TIPC state through commands
such as TIPC_NL_NET_SET, TIPC_NL_KEY_SET, TIPC_NL_KEY_FLUSH, and
bearer enable/disable.

The legacy TIPC netlink API already checks netlink_net_capable(...,
CAP_NET_ADMIN) for administrative commands. Give the TIPCv2 mutators
the equivalent generic-netlink gate. Use GENL_UNS_ADMIN_PERM, which
maps to the same namespace-aware CAP_NET_ADMIN check that
netlink_net_capable() performs, so the behaviour matches the legacy
path and keeps working for CAP_NET_ADMIN holders in a non-initial user
namespace (containers).

A QEMU/KASAN repro run as uid/gid 65534 with zero effective
capabilities previously succeeded in changing the network id and node
identity, setting and flushing key material, and enabling/disabling a
UDP bearer. With this patch applied the same operations fail with
-EPERM.

90b662ea25 net/sched: sch_hfsc: Don't make class passive twice
update_vf() is called from two places for the same class during a single
dequeue when the class's child qdisc (e.g. codel/fq_codel) drops its last
packets while dequeuing:

1. The child calls qdisc_tree_reduce_backlog(), which, now that the child
   is empty, invokes hfsc_qlen_notify() -> update_vf(cl, 0, 0) and turns
   the class passive (cl_nactive is decremented up the hierarchy).

2. hfsc_dequeue() then calls update_vf(cl, qdisc_pkt_len(skb), cur_time)
   to charge the dequeued bytes.

On the second call the class is already passive, but its child qdisc is
still empty, so update_vf() arms go_passive again:

      if (cl->qdisc->q.qlen == 0 && cl->cl_flags & HFSC_FSC)
              go_passive = 1;

The leaf is then skipped by the cl_nactive == 0 check inside the loop,
which does not clear go_passive, so the stale go_passive propagates to the
parent and decrements its cl_nactive a second time. A parent that still
has other active children is driven to cl_nactive == 0 and removed from
the vttree, even though those siblings are still backlogged. They are
never dequeued again and the qdisc stalls.

Fix this by only arming go_passive when the class is actually active, so an
already-passive class no longer triggers a second passive transition. The
byte accounting (cl->cl_total += len) still runs for every ancestor, so
dequeued bytes continue to be counted exactly once.

37314c9dbe net: Stop leased rxq before uninstalling its memory provider
netif_rxq_cleanup_unlease() tears down the memory provider that was
installed on a physical RX queue through a netkit queue lease. It
currently revokes the provider's DMA mappings before stopping the
physical queue:

  __netif_mp_uninstall_rxq(virt_rxq, p);            /* DMA unmap */
  __netif_mp_close_rxq(phys_rxq->dev, rxq_idx, p);  /* queue stop */

This inverts the ordering used by the regular teardown paths (normal
device unregister and the io_uring zcrx close path), which stop the
queue before revoking the provider's mappings.

With the physical queue still live, its NAPI can keep consuming
net_iov entries from the page_pool alloc cache after the
__netif_mp_uninstall_rxq() has already cleared their dma_addr,
opening a window for the device to DMA to a stale or zero address.

Fix it by swapping the two calls so the queue is stopped (and its
NAPI quiesced) before the provider is uninstalled. No functional
regression was observed across repeated runs of the nk_qlease.py
HW selftest, which exercises the lease teardown path; this was
tested against fbnic QEMU emulation.

1720db928e 6lowpan: fix NHC entry use-after-free on error path
lowpan_nhc_do_uncompression() looks up an NHC descriptor while holding
lowpan_nhc_lock. If the descriptor has no uncompress callback, the error
path drops the lock before printing nhc->name.

lowpan_nhc_del() removes descriptors under the same lock and then relies
on synchronize_net() before the owning module can be unloaded. That only
waits for net RX RCU readers. lowpan_header_decompress() is also exported
and can be reached from callers that are not necessarily covered by the net
core RX critical section, for example the Bluetooth 6LoWPAN L2CAP receive
path.

This leaves a race where one task drops lowpan_nhc_lock in the error path,
another task unregisters and frees the matching descriptor after
synchronize_net() returns, and the first task then dereferences nhc->name
for the warning.

With the post-unlock window widened, KASAN reports:

  BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in lowpan_nhc_do_uncompression+0x1f4/0x220

Fix this by printing the warning before dropping lowpan_nhc_lock, so the
descriptor name is read while unregister is still excluded. The malformed
packet is still rejected with -ENOTSUPP.

e9361d0ca5 sctp: validate embedded address parameter length
sctp_verify_asconf() and sctp_verify_param() only validate ADD_IP, DEL_IP,
and SET_PRIMARY parameters against a fixed minimum size of sizeof(struct
sctp_addip_param) + sizeof(struct sctp_paramhdr). This ensures the outer
parameter is large enough to contain an embedded address parameter header,
but does not verify that the embedded address parameter's declared length
fits within the bounds of the outer parameter.

Later, sctp_process_param() and sctp_process_asconf_param() extract the
embedded address parameter and pass it to af->from_addr_param(), which uses
the address parameter length to parse the variable-length address payload.
A malformed peer can therefore advertise an embedded address parameter
length that exceeds the remaining bytes in the enclosing parameter.

Validate that addr_param->p.length does not exceed the space available
after the sctp_addip_param header before processing the embedded address
parameter. Reject malformed parameters when the embedded address length
extends beyond the enclosing parameter bounds.

This prevents out-of-bounds reads when parsing malformed parameters carried
in INIT or ASCONF processing paths.

  * rocker_router_fib_event()
  * nsim_fib4_prepare_event()

refcount_inc_not_zero() must be used, but it would be too late
there.

Let's guarantee the lifetime of fib_info in fib_leaf_notify().

Note that IPv6 does not need the corresponding change since
fib6_table_dump() holds fib6_table.tb6_lock.

f294fc71c4 net/sched: cls_flow: Dont expose folded kernel pointers
The flow classifier falls back to addr_fold() for fields that are missing
from packet headers. In map mode, userspace controls mask, xor, rshift,
addend and divisor, and can observe the resulting classid through class
statistics. This allows a tc classifier in a user/network namespace to
recover the 32-bit folded value of skb->sk, skb_dst() or skb_nfct().

Align with standard kernel practices for pointer hashing and replace the
XOR folding with a keyed siphash (which is cryptographically secure)

0b7b378ce6 net: dsa: qca8k: fix led devicename when using external mdio bus
The qca8k dsa switch can use either an external or internal mdio bus.
This depends on whether the mdio node is defined under the switch node
itself. Upon registering the internal mdio bus, the internal_mdio_bus
of the dsa switch is assigned to this bus. When an external mdio bus is
used, the driver still uses the internal_mdio_bus id which is used to
create the device names of the leds.
This leads to the leds being prefixed with '(efault)' as the
internal_mii_bus is null. So let's fix this by adding a null check and
use the devicename of the external bus instead when an external bus is
configured.

7360b96099 octeontx2-af: fix IP fragment flag corruption on custom KPU profile load
npc_cn20k_apply_custom_kpu() overwrites KPU profile entries with custom
firmware values and then calls npc_cn20k_update_action_entries_n_flags()
over all entries. Since the same function already ran during default
profile initialisation, entries not overridden by the custom firmware
get their flags translated twice, corrupting the CN20K-specific values.

Fix this by extracting the per-entry translation into a helper
npc_cn20k_translate_action_flags() and calling it as each custom entry
is loaded, removing the redundant batch call at the end.

Steffen Klassert says:

====================
pull request (net): ipsec 2026-06-10

1) xfrm: iptfs: preserve shared-frag marker in iptfs_consume_frags()
   Propagate SKBFL_SHARED_FRAG when paged fragments are moved between
   skbs so ESP can decide whether in-place crypto is safe.

2) xfrm: iptfs: fix use-after-free on first_skb in __input_process_payload
   Replace the unlocked read of xtfs->ra_newskb with a local flag so a
   concurrent reassembly can no longer free first_skb between
   spin_unlock and the post-loop check.

3) xfrm: policy: fix use-after-free on inexact bin in xfrm_policy_bysel_ctx()
   Prune the inexact bin under xfrm_policy_lock so a concurrent
   xfrm_hash_rebuild() can no longer free it before xfrm_policy_kill()
   dereferences it.

4) xfrm: iptfs: fix ABBA deadlock in iptfs_destroy_state()
   Move hrtimer_cancel() for the output and drop timers ahead of their
   spinlocks, breaking the softirq/lock cycle that could deadlock
   against the timer callbacks on SMP.

5) xfrm: espintcp: do not reuse an in-progress partial send
   Fail a new send when espintcp_push_msgs() returns with emsg->len
   still set, so a blocking caller can no longer overwrite ctx->partial
   while a previous transfer still owns it.

6) esp: fix page frag reference leak on skb_to_sgvec failure
   Add a flag to esp_ssg_unref() to unconditionally unref the source
   scatterlist, releasing the old page references that are otherwise
   leaked when the second skb_to_sgvec() in esp_output_tail() fails.

Please pull or let me know if there are problems.

b70c687b7c ipv6: Fix a potential NPD in cleanup_prefix_route()
addrconf_get_prefix_route() can return the fib6_null_entry sentinel
entry which has a NULL fib6_table pointer. Therefore, before setting the
route's expiration time, check that we are not working with this entry,
as otherwise a NPD will be triggered [1].

Note that the other callers of addrconf_get_prefix_route() are not
susceptible to this bug:

1. addrconf_prefix_rcv(): Requests a route with the 'RTF_ADDRCONF |
   RTF_PREFIX_RT' flags which are not set on fib6_null_entry.

2. modify_prefix_route(): Fixed by commit a747e02430 ("ipv6: avoid
   possible NULL deref in modify_prefix_route()").

3. __ipv6_ifa_notify(): Calls ip6_del_rt() which specifically checks for
   fib6_null_entry and returns an error.

net: txgbe: fix module identification

For AML devices, there are some issues where the wrong module
indentified then configure PHY failed.

The module info buffers should be initialized to 0 before the firmware
returns information. And DECLARE_PHY_INTERFACE_MASK() does not guarantee
zeroed contents, so explicitly clear the temporary interface masks before
setting supported interfaces.

Rework txgbe_identify_module() to validate module identifiers through
explicit type checks instead of relying on transceiver_type heuristics.
When using the SFP module, transceiver_type could be a random value,
because it was read from an invalid register.

77a6b90ce5 net: mvpp2: build skb from XDP-adjusted data on XDP_PASS
When an XDP program uses bpf_xdp_adjust_head() or bpf_xdp_adjust_tail()
and then returns XDP_PASS, mvpp2 still builds the skb from fixed offsets
derived from the original RX descriptor. Packet geometry changes made by
the XDP program are therefore discarded before the skb reaches the stack.

Update rx_offset and rx_bytes from xdp.data and xdp.data_end for
XDP_PASS. This makes skb_reserve() and skb_put() reflect the packet seen
by XDP, and makes RX byte accounting for XDP_PASS follow the length of the
skb passed to the network stack.

Keep a separate rx_sync_size for page-pool recycling on skb allocation
failure, which must stay tied to the received buffer range.

Non-PASS verdicts continue to account the descriptor length because no skb
is passed up in those cases.

5e8e2a9624 net: mvpp2: refill RX buffers before XDP or skb use
The RX error path returns the current descriptor buffer to the hardware
BM pool. That is only valid while the driver still owns the buffer.

mvpp2_rx_refill() can fail after the current buffer has been handed to
XDP or attached to an skb. In those cases mvpp2_run_xdp() may have
recycled, redirected, or queued the page for XDP_TX, and an skb free also
retires the data buffer. Returning such a buffer to BM lets hardware DMA
into memory that is no longer owned by the RX ring.

Refill the BM pool before handing the current buffer to XDP or to the
skb. If the allocation fails there, drop the packet and return the
still-owned current buffer to BM, preserving the pool depth. Once the
refill succeeds, later local drops retire/free the current buffer instead
of returning it to BM.

f3c6aa0789 net: mvpp2: limit XDP frame size to the RX buffer
mvpp2 has short and long BM pools, and short pool buffers can be smaller
than PAGE_SIZE. The XDP path nevertheless initializes every xdp_buff with
PAGE_SIZE as frame size.

XDP helpers use frame_sz to validate tail growth and to derive the hard
end of the data area. Advertising PAGE_SIZE for short buffers can let
bpf_xdp_adjust_tail() grow a packet past the real allocation, corrupting
memory or later tripping skb tailroom checks.

Initialize the XDP buffer with bm_pool->frag_size so XDP tailroom matches
the actual buffer backing the packet.

1802356009 net: mvpp2: sync RX data at the hardware packet offset
mvpp2 programs the RX queue packet offset, so hardware writes received
data at dma_addr + MVPP2_SKB_HEADROOM. The current CPU sync starts at
dma_addr and only covers rx_bytes + MVPP2_MH_SIZE bytes, which syncs the
unused headroom and misses the same number of bytes at the packet tail.

On non-coherent DMA systems this can leave the CPU reading stale cache
contents for the end of the received frame.

Use dma_sync_single_range_for_cpu() with MVPP2_SKB_HEADROOM as the range
offset so the sync covers the Marvell header and packet data actually
written by hardware.

c7d573551f netfilter: nft_meta_bridge: fix stale stack leak via IIFHWADDR register
NFT_META_BRI_IIFHWADDR declares its destination register with
len = ETH_ALEN (6 bytes), which the register-init tracking rounds up to
two 32-bit registers (8 bytes). nft_meta_bridge_get_eval() then does
memcpy(dest, br_dev->dev_addr, ETH_ALEN), writing only 6 bytes and
leaving the upper 2 bytes of the second register as uninitialised
nft_do_chain() stack. A downstream load of that register span leaks
those stale bytes to userspace.

Zero the second register before the memcpy so the full declared span is

ab185e0c4f netfilter: nft_fib: fix stale stack leak via the OIFNAME register
For NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIFNAME the destination register is declared with
len = IFNAMSIZ (four 32-bit registers), but on the lookup-fail,
RTN_LOCAL and oif-mismatch paths nft_fib{4,6}_eval() only writes one
register via "*dest = 0". The remaining three registers are left as
whatever was on the stack in nft_do_chain()'s struct nft_regs, and a
downstream expression that loads the register span can leak that
uninitialised kernel stack to userspace.

The NFTA_FIB_F_PRESENT existence check has the same shape: it is only
meaningful for NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIF, yet it was accepted for any result type
while the eval stores a single byte via nft_reg_store8(), leaving the rest
of the declared span stale.

Fix both:

 - replace the bare "*dest = 0" in the eval with nft_fib_store_result(),
   which strscpy_pad()s the whole IFNAMSIZ for OIFNAME (and is already
   used on the other early-return path), and

 - restrict NFTA_FIB_F_PRESENT to NFT_FIB_RESULT_OIF and declare its
   destination as a single u8, so the marked span matches the one byte
   the eval writes.

a84b6fedbc netfilter: nf_log: validate MAC header was set before dumping it
The fallback path of dump_mac_header() guards the MAC header access
only with "skb->mac_header != skb->network_header", without checking
skb_mac_header_was_set(). When the MAC header is unset, mac_header is
0xffff, so the test passes and skb_mac_header(skb) returns
skb->head + 0xffff, ~64 KiB past the buffer; the loop then reads
dev->hard_header_len bytes out of bounds into the kernel log.

This is reachable via the netdev logger: nf_log_unknown_packet() calls
dump_mac_header() unconditionally, and an skb sent through AF_PACKET
with PACKET_QDISC_BYPASS reaches the egress hook with mac_header still
unset (__dev_queue_xmit(), which would reset it, is bypassed).

Add the skb_mac_header_was_set() check the ARPHRD_ETHER path already
uses, and replace the open-coded MAC header length test with
skb_mac_header_len(). Only skbs with an unset MAC header are affected;
valid ones are dumped as before.

f7f2fbb0e8 netfilter: x_tables: avoid leaking percpu counter pointers
The native and compat get-entries paths copy the fixed rule entry header
from the kernelized rule blob to userspace before overwriting the entry's
counter fields with a sanitized counter snapshot.

On SMP kernels, entry->counters.pcnt contains the percpu allocation
address used by x_tables rule counters. A caller can provide a userspace
buffer that faults during the initial fixed-header copy after pcnt has
been copied but before the later sanitized counter copy runs. The syscall
then returns -EFAULT while leaving the raw percpu pointer in userspace.

Copy only the fixed entry prefix before counters from the kernelized rule
blob, then copy the sanitized counter snapshot into the counter field.
Apply this ordering to the IPv4, IPv6, and ARP native and compat
get-entries implementations so a fault cannot expose the internal percpu
counter pointer.

exp->expectfn(), now a stale pointer into the unloaded module. Reproduced
on a KASAN build by loading the H.323 helpers, creating a Q.931
expectation, unloading nf_nat_h323, then connecting to the expected port:

 Oops: int3: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN NOPTI

Reaching the dangling state requires CAP_SYS_MODULE in the initial user
namespace to remove a NAT helper that still has live expectations, so this
is a robustness fix; leaving an expectation pointing at freed text is wrong
regardless.

Add nf_ct_helper_expectfn_destroy(), which walks the expectation table and
drops every expectation whose ->expectfn matches the descriptor being torn
down. Call it from each NAT helper's exit path after the existing RCU grace
period, so no expectation outlives the code it points at and no extra
synchronize_rcu() is introduced. With the fix, the same reproducer runs to
completion without the Oops.

ccb9fd4b87 netfilter: revalidate bridge ports
ebt_redirect_tg() dereferences br_port_get_rcu() return without a
NULL check, causing a kernel panic when the bridge port has been
removed between the original hook invocation and an NFQUEUE
reinject.

A mere NULL check isn't sufficient, however. As sashiko review
points out userspace can not only remove the port from the bridge,
it could also place the device in a different virtual device, e.g.
macvlan.

If this happens, we must drop the packet, there is no way for us to
reinject it into the bridge path.

Switch to _upper API, we don't need the bridge port structure.
Also, this fix keeps another bug intact:

Both nfnetlink_log and nfnetlink_queue use CONFIG_BRIDGE_NETFILTER
too aggressive, which prevents certain logging features when queueing
in bridge family: NETFILTER_FAMILY_BRIDGE can be enabled while the old
CONFIG_BRIDGE_NETFILTER cruft is off.

Fixes tag is a common ancestor, this was always broken.

512db8267b rds: mark snapshot pages dirty in rds_info_getsockopt()
rds_info_getsockopt() pins the destination user pages with FOLL_WRITE and
the RDS_INFO_* producers memcpy the snapshot into them through
kmap_atomic(). Because that copy goes through the kernel direct map, the
dirty bit on the user PTE is never set, so unpin_user_pages() releases the
pages without marking them dirty. A file-backed destination page can then
be reclaimed without writeback, silently discarding the copied data.

Use unpin_user_pages_dirty_lock() with make_dirty=true so the modified
pages are marked dirty before they are unpinned.

a5c0359f5c ip6_vti: fix incorrect tunnel matching in vti6_tnl_lookup()
In vti6_tnl_lookup(), when an exact match for a tunnel fails,
the code falls back to searching for wildcard tunnels:

- Tunnels matching the packet's local address, with any remote address
  wildcard remote).

- Tunnels matching the packet's remote address, with any local address
  (wildcard local).

However, vti6 stores all these different types of tunnels in the same
hash table (ip6n->tnls_r_l) prone to hash collisions.

The bug is that the fallback search loops in vti6_tnl_lookup() were
missing checks to ensure that the candidate tunnel actually has
a wildcard address.

805d5a2b79 namespace: restrict OPEN_TREE_NAMESPACE/FSMOUNT_NAMESPACE to directories
open_tree(..., OPEN_TREE_NAMESPACE) and
fsmount(..., FSMOUNT_NAMESPACE, ...) currently work on non-directories,
like regular files. That's bad for two reasons:

 - It ends up mounting a regular file over the inherited namespace root,
   which is a directory; mounting a non-directory over a directory is
   normally explicitly forbidden, see for example do_move_mount()

 - It causes setns() on the new namespace to set the cwd to a regular
   file, which the rest of VFS does not expect

Fix it by restricting create_new_namespace() (which is used by both of
these flags) to directories.

Leave the behavior for OPEN_TREE_CLONE as-is, that seems unproblematic.

a23226b7c1 gpiolib: handle gpio-hogs only once
Commit d1d564ec49 ("gpio: move hogs into GPIO core") introduced a
behaviour change that breaks boot on Raspberry Pi 5 when using the
firmware-supplied device tree:

  gpiochip_add_data_with_key: GPIOs 544..575
    (/soc@107c000000/gpio@7d517c00) failed to register, -22
  brcmstb-gpio 107d517c00.gpio: Could not add gpiochip for bank 1
  brcmstb-gpio 107d517c00.gpio: probe with driver brcmstb-gpio failed
    with error -22

gpio-brcmstb registers two gpio_chips against the device tree
node gpio@7d517c00, one for each bank. The firmware-supplied DT includes
a gpio-hog on RP1 RUN, and this gpio-hog is attempted to be applied to
*both* gpio_chips. This succeeds against bank 0 (which hosts the GPIO)
and fails for bank 1 (which does not).

In the previous implementation, failures to apply gpio-hogs were
quietly ignored. In the new code, the error code propagates and causes
probe to fail.

Closely approximate the previous behaviour by using the OF_POPULATED flag
to ensure that each gpio-hog is processed only once. The flag was
previously being set before the gpio-hogs were processed, so as part
of this change, the flag now gets set only after the gpio-hog is actioned.
The handling of gpio-hogs on a DT node with multiple gpio_chips remains a
bit incomplete/unclear, but this at least retains the ability to apply
hogs to the first gpio_chip per node.

64911f5aac gpio: fix cleanup path on hog failure
If gpiochip_hog_lines() successfully processes some hogs but fails on
a later one, the error handling path in gpiochip_add_data_with_key()
jumps directly to err_remove_of_chip. This leaks resources allocated
earlier for ACPI, interrupts and hogs that were successfully processed.
Use the right label in error path.

627366c511 ptp: ocp: fix resource freeing order
Commit a60fc3294a ("ptp: rework ptp_clock_unregister() to disable
events") added a call to ptp_disable_all_events() which changes the
configuration of pins if they support EXTTS events. In ptp_ocp_detach()
pins resources are freed before ptp_clock_unregister() and it leads to
use-after-free during driver removal. Fix it by changing the order of
free/unregister calls. To avoid irq handler running on the other core
while ptp device unregistering, call synchronize_irq() after HW is
configured to stop producing irqs and no irqs are in-flight.

7f2fcff15e tun: zero the whole vnet header in tun_put_user()
tun_put_user() declares an on-stack struct virtio_net_hdr_v1_hash_tunnel
without zeroing it. For a non-tunnel skb, virtio_net_hdr_tnl_from_skb()
only initializes the first 10 bytes (sizeof(struct virtio_net_hdr)),
leaving bytes 10..23 (num_buffers and the hash/tunnel fields) as stack
garbage.

An unprivileged user can set the vnet header size to 24 with
TUNSETVNETHDRSZ, so __tun_vnet_hdr_put() copies all 24 bytes of the
partially-initialized struct to userspace, leaking 14 bytes of kernel
stack on every read of a non-tunnel packet.

Fix it the same way tun_get_user() already does by zeroing the whole
header right after declaration.
