So downstream boards can select it. It is needed by some virtio drivers
like virtio-gpu. We can't put this in init/Kconfig.gki because we don't
want to enable VIRTIO options in GKI if they can be tristate.

Using bitfields for shared variables is a "bad idea", as they require
a non-atomic read-modify-write to be generated by the compiler, which can
cause updates to unrelated bits in the same word to disappear.
Ensure the 'online' and 'disconnected' members of 'struct acc_dev' are
placed in separate variables by declaring them each as 'int'.

Tearing down and freeing the 'acc_dev' structure when there is
potentially asynchronous work queued involving its member fields is
likely to lead to use-after-free issues.

If acc_setup() is called when there is already an allocated instance,
misc_register() will fail but the error path leaves a dangling pointer
to freed memory in the global 'acc_dev' state.
Fix this by ensuring that the refcount is zero before we start, and then
using a cmpxchg() from NULL to serialise any concurrent initialisers.

acc_release() attempts to synchronise with acc_open() using an atomic
'open_excl' member in 'struct acc_dev'. Unfortunately, acc_release()
prematurely resets this atomic variable to zero, meaning there is a
potential race on 'dev->disconnected':

Fix the race by ensuring that the 'disconnected' field is written

Now that CPU pause is gone, this is a lot more manageable. The
remaining conflicts were caused mostly by vendor hooks and Android-specific
tweaks to the EAS topology code, but easily fixable by hand.

Upstream has reworked the copy to/from user logic for the v4l drivers,
fixing loads of compatibility issues. To be copying "reserved" fields
from the v4l structures seems like a big userspace violation, and as
such, the new logic does not allow that.
If vendors still require this for their out-of-tree drivers, they can
resubmit this patch in the correct format, after discussing it with
upstream about if this is allowed or not.

- Let IO/APIC construct the RTE entries from an MSI message instead of

- The consolidation work to reclaim TIF flags on x86 and also for non-x86
specific TIF flags which are solely relevant for syscall related work
and have been moved into their own storage space. The x86 specific part
had to be merged in to avoid a major conflict.

"When time namespaces were introduced we missed to virtualize the
'btime' field in /proc/stat. This confuses tasks which are in another
time namespace with a virtualized boottime which is common in some
container workloads. This contains Michael's series to fix 'btime'
which Thomas asked me to take through my tree.
To fix 'btime' virtualization we simply subtract the offset of the
time namespace's boottime from btime before printing the stats. Note
that since start_boottime of processes are seconds since boottime and
the boottime stamp is now shifted according to the time namespace's
offset, the offset of the time namespace also needs to be applied
before the process stats are given to userspace. This avoids that
processes shown by tools such as 'ps' appear as time travelers in the
corresponding time namespace.
Selftests are included to verify that btime virtualization in
/proc/stat works as expected"
