Although validate_message() checks msg_id, a mispredicted branch can
still allow speculative indexing into hsmp_msg_desc_table[]. Clamp
msg.msg_id with array_index_nospec() at entry to hsmp_ioctl_msg() so
downstream dereferences (including via is_get_msg() and
hsmp_send_message()) see a bounded index.
Similarly, hsmp_send_message() bounds-checks msg->sock_ind before
indexing hsmp_pdev.sock[], but a mispredicted branch can still
speculatively use the raw index (Spectre v1, CVE-2017-5753). Apply
array_index_nospec() after the check so every caller that reaches
hsmp_pdev.sock[] through this helper sees a clamped socket
index—including hsmp_ioctl_msg() and any other path that hands a
user-derived struct hsmp_message to hsmp_send_message().

The ECs in the IdeaPads that need the delay_suspend quirk send lots
of messages when charging, which not only causes intermediate wakeups
when suspended, but also prevents the device from reaching the deepest
suspend state.
Because of this amd_pmc_intermediate_wakeup_need_delay() returns false
during intermediate wakeups and amd_pmc_want_suspend_delay() is called.
So far it always logged its "Delaying suspend by 2.5s ..." messages
then, which spams dmesg. This commit makes sure that those messages are
only logged once per suspend.

Enabling the new delay_suspend module parameter delays suspend for
2.5 seconds which is known to help for some AMD-based Lenovo Laptops
that otherwise failed to send/receive events for key presses or the
lid switch after s2idle. Apparently the EC needs to do some things
in the background before suspend or it gets into a bad state.
There are many reports of AMD-based laptops (mostly but not exclusively
IdeaPads) about similar issues on the web; this parameter gives
affected users an easy way to try out if their issues have the same
root cause and to work around them until their specific device is added
to the quirks list.
The parameter description has a note encouraging users to report
their device so it can be added to the quirks list, inspired by a
similar request in parameter descriptions of the ideapad-laptop module.
The module parameter can be set to "1" to explicitly enable it,
"0" to disable it even on devices that are assumed to be affected,
or -1 (the default) to enable it if the device is assumed to be affected
(according to fwbug_list[])

nonfunctional keyboard and lid switch after s2idle.
It helps to delay suspend by 2.5 seconds so the EC has some time
to do whatever it needs to get done before suspend - unfortunately
at least on my 16ABR8 waking it with a timer (wakealarm) still
triggers the issue, but at least normal resume via keypress or

Since commit e2ffcda162 ("ACPI: OSL: Allow Notify () handlers to run on

run on multiple CPU cores racing with themselves.
On convertibles and detachables (matched by DMI chassis-type 31 and 32 in
dmi_auto_add_switch[]) the SW_TABLET_MODE input device is registered
lazily from notify_handler() on the first tablet-mode event, via
intel_hid_switches_setup(). When two such events race on different CPUs
both can pass the !priv->switches check and register the priv->switches
input device twice, resulting in a duplicate sysfs entry and a subsequent
NULL pointer dereference.
This is the same class of bug fixed by commit e075c3b13a ("platform/x86:

sibling intel-vbtn driver.

The base_addr refactor changed intel_vsec_walk_header() to pass
info->base_addr as the discovery-table base address. For the PCI VSEC
driver this info comes from driver_data, but exported callers may provide
their own static headers and leave base_addr unset.
For xe, this made the discovery-table base address zero instead of the BAR
selected by header->tbir, preventing PMT endpoints from being created.
Restore the previous behavior for the header-walk path by falling back to
pci_resource_start(pdev, header->tbir) when base_addr is not specified.
Keep explicit base_addr override behavior unchanged.
This preserves the refactor structure while fixing the functional

events 0xc4-0xc7 via the intel-hid ACPI device (INT33D5). These codes are
only present in intel_array_keymap, which is used when the "5 button

returns false because the firmware does not advertise the array through
the HEBC method, so notify_handler() routes the events to a NULL

the side volume keys do nothing.
Add the machine to button_array_table so the array device is created and

convert_ltr_scale() emits an unconditional pr_warn() whenever an LTR row
encoded by hardware has a scale-factor field of 6 or 7 (reserved values
per the PCIe LTR ECN). The function is called twice per LTR row (snoop
+ non-snoop) by pmc_core_ltr_show(), which is invoked on every read of
/sys/kernel/debug/pmc_core/ltr_show as well as during certain platform
driver activity.
On a Meteor Lake laptop with an Intel AX210 Wi-Fi card, this produces
4-12 "Invalid LTR scale factor." lines per second in dmesg, with no
context to help identify which PMC IP / row carries the bad value.
Switch to pr_warn_once() so the warning still flags the spec violation
once per boot, and include the offending scale value in the message.
Identifying the originating LTR row would require restructuring the
caller's loop to perform the validity check itself; that is left as a
separate change.

Convert the array variable to use cleanup.h scope-based

This also moves the array declaration next to

Currently the code enqueue work items using {queue|mod}_delayed_work(),
using system_wq, which will be deprecated soon and replaced by
system_percpu_wq.
commit 128ea9f6cc ("workqueue: Add system_percpu_wq and system_dfl_wq")
The function(s) mentioned earlier, end up calling __queue_delayed_work(),
which set a global timer that could fire anywhere, enqueuing the work
where the timer fired.
Unbound works could benefit from scheduler task placement, to optimize
performance and power consumption.
Since the workqueue work doesn't rely on per-cpu variables, there is no
obvious reason that justify the use of a per-cpu workqueue. So change
system_wq with system_dfl_wq so that the work may benefit from
scheduler task placement.

The Lenovo GameZone/Other interfaces have some delicate divergences
among different devices. When making a bug report or adding support for
new devices/interfaces, capdata is the most important information to
cross-check with.
Add a debugfs file (lenovo_wmi/<device_name>/capdata), so that users can
dump capdata and include it in their reports.
Since `struct capdata01' is just an extension to `struct capdata00',
also convert the former to include the latter anonymously
(-fms-extensions, since v6.19). This is declared as a union in the
capdata01 struct, with both the anonymous declaration and as a named
member to avoid type casting when passing just the capdata00 struct
pointer.

Some Lenovo BIOS have been shown to have incomplete and/or broken
capability data and WMI attribute IDs. In some cases the capability data
reports that a feature is not supported when the get/set methods are
fully implemented. It is also possible that the ACPI methods from the
ideapad_laptop driver we defer to could be bugged while the WMI method
is fully working. To aid end users in submitting more complete bug
reports in these situations, add an override to skip the ACPI and
compatibility checks to force load the power supply extension as if it
is fully supported and has no conflicts.

Add charge_behaviour and charge_types attributes through a power supply
extension for devices that support WMI based charge enable & disable.
Lenovo Legion devices that implement WMI function and capdata ID
0x03010001 in their BIOS are able to enable or disable charging at 80%
through the lenovo-wmi-other interface. Add a charge_types attribute for
BATX devices to expose this capability with Standard and Long_Life types
enabled.
Additionally, devices that support WMI function and capdata ID 0x03020000
are able to force discharge of the battery. Expose this capability with
a charge_behaviour attribute in the power supply extension, with the auto
and force-discharge behaviors enabled. The GET method for this attribute
is bugged. After analyzing the DSDT, and some testing, it appears the
method grabs bit(3) instead of bit(4) from the EC register that stores the
current status, and will only report if charging has been inhibited or
not. To work around this, store and report the last setting written to the
attribute.
As some devices only expose one attribute or the other, a bitmask is
added with a lookup table and some helper macros to select the correct
configuration for the hardware at runtime.
The ideapad_laptop driver provides the charge_types attribute to provide
similar functionality. When the WMI method is set this can corrupt the
ACPI method return and cause hardware and driver errors. To avoid
conflicts between the drivers, we get the acpi_handle and do the same
check that ideapad_laptop does when it enables the feature. If the
feature is supported in ideapad_laptop, abort adding the extension from
lenovo-wmi-other. The ACPI method is more reliable when both are
present from my testing, so we can prefer that implementation and do
not need to worry about de-conflicting from inside that driver.
