151322bccd wifi: ath12k: add basic hwmon temperature reporting
Add initial thermal support by wiring up a per-radio (pdev) hwmon temperature
sensor backed by the existing WMI pdev temperature command and event.
When userspace reads the sysfs file temp1_input, the driver sends
WMI_PDEV_GET_TEMPERATURE_CMDID (tag WMI_TAG_PDEV_GET_TEMPERATURE_CMD) and waits
for the corresponding WMI_PDEV_TEMPERATURE_EVENTID
(tag WMI_TAG_PDEV_TEMPERATURE_EVENT) to get the temperature and pdev_id.

Export the reported value in millidegrees Celsius as required by hwmon.
The temperature reported is per-radio (pdev). In a multi-radio wiphy under a
single phy, a separate hwmon device is created for each radio.

Sample command and output:
$ cat /sys/devices/pci0000:00/.../ieee80211/phyX/hwmonY/temp1_input
$ 50000

07174dc942 wifi: ath12k: Move DP related functions from peer.c to dp_peer.c file
Refactor the structures and APIs defined in files peer.h and peer.c in such a
way that the APIs making use of ath12k_peer are moved to newly introduced files
dp_peer.h and dp_peer.c.

Have this new file dp_peer.c compiled as part of kernel module ath12k.ko.

Move these APIs from peer.h and peer.c to dp_peer.h and dp_peer.c:
  ath12k_peer_find()
  ath12k_peer_find_by_pdev_idx()
  ath12k_peer_find_by_addr()
  ath12k_peer_find_by_ml_id()
  ath12k_peer_find_by_id()
  ath12k_peer_exist_by_vdev_id()
  ath12k_peer_find_by_ast()
  ath12k_peer_unmap_event()
  ath12k_peer_map_event()
  ath12k_peer_get_link_sta()

Background:

In current ath12k architecture, connected station is represented by struct
ath12k_sta.

struct ath12k_sta has an array of struct ath12k_link_sta wherein each index
represents one link of the connected station.

For each ath12k_link_sta, there is a corresponding data path peer which is
represented by struct ath12k_peer.

Diagrammatic view of the station is as below:

        ath12k_sta
            |
            |-> ath12k_link_sta <--> ath12k_peer
            |
            |-> ath12k_link_sta <--> ath12k_peer
            |
            |-> ath12k_link_sta <--> ath12k_peer

Currently, in control path, ath12k_link_sta and ath12k_peer are used
interchangeably, while the data path makes use of ath12k_peer only.

For ath12k next-generation driver framework, in order to have a clean
segregation between control and data path, use ath12k_link_sta only for control
path operations.

Station view for the data path is revamped as below:

        ath12k_dp_peer
               |
               |-> ath12k_dp_link_peer
               |
               |-> ath12k_dp_link_peer
               |
               |-> ath12k_dp_link_peer

Introduce the structure ath12k_dp_peer to represent the data path version of
corresponding ath12k_sta.

This ath12k_dp_peer contains the fields used in the per packet Tx Rx paths
applicable across all the links and maintains an array of ath12k_dp_link_peer.
Per packet Tx and Rx path operates on ath12k_dp_peer. This ath12k_dp_peer is a
standalone new object and has back pointer reference to ieee80211_sta.

Rename ath12k_peer to ath12k_dp_link_peer and move the fields which are common
across all the links to ath12k_dp_peer.

Add the fields specific to a link which are mostly for statistics and monitor
usage to ath12k_dp_link_peer.

Final view of station in ath12k next-generation driver is shown as below:

            Control Path                            Data Path
        -------------------------------------------------------------------
        ath12k_sta                            ath12k_dp_peer
            |                                       |
            |-> ath12k_link_sta    <---->           |-> ath12k_dp_link_peer
            |                                       |
            |-> ath12k_link_sta    <---->           |-> ath12k_dp_link_peer
            |                                       |
            |-> ath12k_link_sta    <---->           |-> ath12k_dp_link_peer

This patch and the subsequent patches in this series are meant to achieve the
modularization of peer object as mentioned above.

a720270452 wifi: ath12k: Modularize driver into common and Wi-Fi 7 specific components
Split the ath12k driver into two kernel modules:

 - ath12k.ko for shared logic across multiple targets
 - ath12k_wifi7.ko for Wi-Fi 7 specific configuration and routines

The common module (ath12k.ko) must be loaded prior to any device-specific
module, as the latter depends on exported symbols from the former.

As part of this restructuring, Wi-Fi 7 specific files are moved into a
dedicated `wifi7/` directory and built as a separate module. Common
symbols are exported accordingly, with further adjustments planned
in upcoming patches to support architecture-dependent separation.

This modularization improves maintainability and scalability by enabling
clean separation of hardware-specific logic from the shared driver core.

3bc374cbc4 wifi: ath12k: add factory test mode support
Add support to process factory test mode commands(FTM) for calibration.
By default firmware start with MISSION mode and to process the FTM commands
firmware needs to be restarted in FTM mode using module parameter ftm_mode.
The pre-request is all the radios should be down before starting the test.

All ath12k test mode interface related commands specified in enum
ath_tm_cmd.

When start command ATH_TM_CMD_TESTMODE_START is received, ar state
is set to test Mode and FTM daemon sends test mode command to wifi
driver via cfg80211. Wifi driver sends these command to firmware as
wmi events. If it is segmented commands it will be broken down into
multiple segments and encoded with TLV header else it is sent to
firmware as it is.

Firmware response via UTF events, wifi driver creates skb and send
to cfg80211, cfg80211 sends firmware response to FTM daemon via
netlink message.

Command to boot in ftm mode
insmod ath12k ftm_mode=1

576771c9fa wifi: ath12k: ACPI TAS support
Currently, ath12k does not support Time-Average-SAR (TAS). In order to enable
TAS read the tables from ACPI and send them to the firmware using
WMI_PDEV_SET_BIOS_INTERFACE_CMDID command. Besides, ath12k registers an ACPI
event callback so that ACPI can notify ath12k to get the updated SAR power
table and sends it to the firmware when the device state is changed.

ACPI is only enabled for WCN7850 using struct ath12k_hw_params::acpi_guid

9411eecb60 wifi: ath12k: implement handling of P2P NoA event
The Notice of Absence (NoA) attribute is used by the P2P Group Owner to
signal its absence due to power save timing, concurrent operation, or
off-channel scanning. It is also used in the P2P Presence Request-Response
mechanism.

The NoA attribute shall be present in the P2P IE in the beacon frames
transmitted by a P2P Group Owner when a NoA schedule is being advertised,
or when the CTWindow is non-zero.

So add support to update P2P information after P2P GO is up through
event WMI_P2P_NOA_EVENTID, and always put it in probe resp.

Create p2p.c and p2p.h for P2P related functions and definitions.

12f491cd6d wifi: ath12k: add firmware-2.bin support
Firmware IE containers can dynamically provide various information
what firmware supports. Also it can embed more than one image so
updating firmware is easy, user just needs to update one file in
/lib/firmware/.

The firmware API 2 or higher will use the IE container format, the
current API 1 will not use the new format but it still is supported
for some time. Firmware API 2 files are named as firmware-2.bin
(which contains both amss.bin and m3.bin images) and API 1 files are
amss.bin and m3.bin.

Currently ath12k PCI driver provides firmware binary (amss.bin) path to
MHI driver, MHI driver reads firmware from filesystem and boots it. Add
provision to read firmware files from ath12k driver and provide the amss.bin
firmware data and size to MHI using a pointer.

Currently enum ath12k_fw_features is empty, the patches adding features will
add the flags.

d889913205 wifi: ath12k: driver for Qualcomm Wi-Fi 7 devices
ath12k is a new mac80211 driver for Qualcomm Wi-Fi 7 devices, first
supporting QCN9274 and WCN7850 PCI devices. QCN9274 supports both AP
and station; WCN7850 supports only station mode. Monitor mode is not
(yet) supported. Only PCI bus devices are supported.

ath12k is forked from an earlier version of ath11k. It was simpler to
have a "clean start" for the new generation and not try to share the
code with ath11k. This makes maintenance easier and avoids major
changes in ath11k, which would have significantly increased the risk
of regressions in existing setups.

ath12k uses le32 and cpu_to_le32() macros to handle endian
conversions, instead of using the firmware byte swap feature utilized
by ath11k. There is only one kernel module, named ath12k.ko.

Currently ath12k only supports HE mode (IEEE 802.11ax) or older, but
work is ongoing to add EHT mode (IEEE 802.11be) support.

The size of the driver is ~41 kLOC and 45 files. To make the review
easier, this initial version of ath12k does not support Device Tree,
debugfs or any other extra features. Those will be added later, after
ath12k is accepted to upstream.

The driver is build tested by Intel's kernel test robot with both GCC
and Clang. Sparse reports no warnings. The driver is mostly free of
checkpatch warnings, albeit few of the warnings are omitted on
purpose, list of them here:

https://github.com/qca/qca-swiss-army-knife/blob/master/tools/scripts/ath12k/ath12k-check#L52

The driver has had multiple authors who are listed in alphabetical
order below.
