For the device SP, the firmware version is a 32-bit value where the
lower 20 bits represent the base version number. And the customized
firmware version populates the upper 12 bits with a specific
identification number.
For other devices AML 25G and 40G, the upper 12 bits of the firmware
version is always non-zero, and they have other naming conventions.
Only SP devices need to check this to tell if XPCS will work properly.
So the judgement of MAC type is added here.
And the original logic compared the entire 32-bit value against 0x20010,
which caused the outdated base firmwares bypass the version check
without a warning. Apply a mask 0xfffff to isolate the lower 20 bits for
an accurate base version comparison.

Hardware statistics should be updated periodically in the watchdog to
prevent 32-bit registers from overflowing. This is also required for the

When removing the device, timer_delete_sync(&wx->service_timer) is
called in .ndo_stop() after cancel_work_sync(&wx->service_task). This
may cause new work to be queued after device down.
Move unregister_netdev() before cancel_work_sync(), and use
timer_shutdown_sync() to prevent the timer from being re-armed.

Replace the busy-wait loop using test_and_set_bit(WX_STATE_RESETTING)
with a proper per-device mutex to serialize reset operations.
The reset flag is reserved for other code paths (like watchdog), which
need tocheck if a reset is in process.

Lists of struct property_entry are supposed to be terminated with an
empty property, this driver currently seems to be allocating exactly the
amount of entry used.

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using
git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'
to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.
Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.
For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

For these two firmware mailbox commands, in txgbe_test_hostif() and
txgbe_set_phy_link_hostif(), there is no need to read data from the
buffer.
Under the current setting, OEM firmware will cause the driver to fail to
probe. Because OEM firmware returns more link information, with a larger
OEM structure txgbe_hic_ephy_getlink. However, the current driver does
not support the OEM function. So just fix it in the way that does not
involve reading the returned data.

For QSFP modules, there is a possibility that the module cannot be
identified when read I2C immediately in .ndo_open. So just set the flag
WX_FLAG_NEED_MODULE_RESET and do it in the subtask, which always wait
200 ms to identify the module. And this change has no impact on the
original adaptation.

Support to identify QSFP modules for AML 40G devices. The definition of
GPIO pins follows the design of the QSFP modules, and TXGBE_GPIOBIT_4 is

To adapt to new firmware for AML devices, the driver should send the
"SET_LINK_CMD" to the firmware only once when switching PHY interface
mode, and no longer needs to re-trigger PHY configuration based on the
RX signal interrupt (TXGBE_GPIOBIT_3).
In previous firmware versions, the PHY was configured only after receiving
"SET_LINK_CMD", and might remain incomplete if the RX signal was lost.
To handle this case, the driver used TXGBE_GPIOBIT_3 interrupt to resend
the command. This workaround is no longer necessary with the new firmware.
And the unknown link speed is permitted in the mailbox buffer.

Recent firmware updates introduce additional fields in the mailbox message
to provide more information for identifying 40G and 100G QSFP modules.
To accommodate these new fields, expand the mailbox buffer size by 4 bytes.
Without this change, drivers built against the updated firmware cannot
properly identify modules due to mismatched mailbox message lengths.
The old firmware version that used the smaller mailbox buffer has never
been publicly released, so there are no backward-compatibility concerns.

Due to hardware limitations of NGBE, queue IRQs can only be requested
on vector 0 to 7. When the number of queues is set to the maximum 8,
the PCI IRQ vectors are allocated from 0 to 8. The vector 0 is used by
MISC interrupt, and althrough the vector 8 is used by queue interrupt,
it is unable to receive packets. This will cause some packets to be
dropped when RSS is enabled and they are assigned to queue 8.
So revert the adjustment of the MISC IRQ location, to make it be the
last one in IRQ vectors.

- Improve TCP receive buffer auto-tuning and increase the default
upper bound for the receive buffer; overall this improves the
single flow maximum thoughput on 200Gbs link by over 60%.
- Add AFS GSSAPI security class to AF_RXRPC; it provides transport
security for connections to the AFS fileserver and VL server.
- Improve TCP multipath routing, so that the sources address always
matches the nexthop device.
- Introduce SO_PASSRIGHTS for AF_UNIX, to allow disabling SCM_RIGHTS,
and thus preventing DoS caused by passing around problematic FDs.
- Retire DCCP socket. DCCP only receives updates for bugs, and major
distros disable it by default. Its removal allows for better
organisation of TCP fields to reduce the number of cache lines hit
in the fast path.
- Extend TCP drop-reason support to cover PAWS checks.

- Reorganize PTP ioctl flag support to require an explicit opt-in for
the drivers, avoiding the problem of drivers not rejecting new
unsupported flags.

The new added mailbox commands require a new released firmware version.
Otherwise, a lot of logs "Unknown FW command" would be printed. And the
devices may not work properly. So add the test command in the probe
function.

The driver needs to handle GPIO interrupts to identify SFP module and
configure PHY by sending mailbox messages to firmware.
Since the SFP module needs to wait for ready to get information when it
is inserted, workqueue is added to handle delayed tasks. And each SW-FW
interaction takes time to wait, so they are processed in the workqueue
instead of IRQ handler function.

There is a new PHY attached to AML 25G/10G NIC, which is different from
SP 10G/1G NIC. But the PHY configuration is handed over to firmware, and
also I2C is controlled by firmware. So the different PHYLINK fixed-link
mode is added for these devices.

For the following patches to support PHYLINK for AML 25G devices,
separate MAC type wx_mac_aml40 to maintain the driver of 40G devices.
Because 40G devices will complete support later, not now.
And this patch makes the 25G devices use some PHYLINK interfaces, but it
is not yet create PHYLINK and cannot be used on its own. It is just
preparation for the next patches.

Most of the different code that requires MAC type in the common library
is due to NGBE only supports a few queues and pools, unlike TXGBE, which
supports 128 queues and 64 pools. This difference accounts for most of
the hardware configuration differences in the driver code. So add a flag
bit "WX_FLAG_MULTI_64_FUNC" for them to clean-up the driver code.

irq_domain_add_*() interfaces are going away as being obsolete now.
Switch to the preferred irq_domain_create_*() ones. Those differ in the
node parameter: They take more generic struct fwnode_handle instead of
struct device_node. Therefore, of_fwnode_handle() is added around the
original parameter.
Note some of the users can likely use dev->fwnode directly instead of
indirect of_fwnode_handle(dev->of_node). But dev->fwnode is not
guaranteed to be set for all, so this has to be investigated on case to
case basis (by people who can actually test with the HW).

In the new firmware version, the shadow ram reserves some space to store
I2C information, so the checksum calculation needs to skip this section.
Otherwise, the driver will fail to probe because the invalid EEPROM
checksum.

For unknown reasons, sometimes the value of MISC interrupt is 0 in the
IRQ handle function. In this case, wx_intr_enable() is also should be
invoked to clear the interrupt. Otherwise, the next interrupt would
never be reported.

When txgbe_sw_init() is called, memory is allocated for wx->rss_key
in wx_init_rss_key(). However, in txgbe_probe() function, the subsequent
error paths after txgbe_sw_init() don't free the rss_key. Fix that by
freeing it in error path along with wx->mac_table.
Also change the label to which execution jumps when txgbe_sw_init()
fails, because otherwise, it could lead to a double free for rss_key,
when the mac_table allocation fails in wx_sw_init().
