CSR boot stage register bit 12 is documented as a device warning,
not a fatal error. Rename the bit definition accordingly and stop
including it in btintel_pcie_in_error().
This keeps warning-only boot stage values from being classified as
errors while preserving abort-handler state as the actual error
condition.

When a Bluetooth controller encounters a coredump, it triggers the
Subsystem Restart (SSR) mechanism. The controller first reports the
coredump data and, once the upload is complete, sends a hw_error
event. The host relies on this event to proceed with subsequent
recovery actions.
If the host has not finished processing the coredump data when the
hw_error event is received, it waits until either the processing is
complete or the 8-second timeout expires before handling the event.
The current implementation clears QCA_MEMDUMP_COLLECTION using
clear_bit(), which does not wake up waiters sleeping in
wait_on_bit_timeout(). As a result, the waiting thread may remain
blocked until the timeout expires even if the coredump collection
has already completed.
Fix this by clearing QCA_MEMDUMP_COLLECTION with
clear_and_wake_up_bit(), which also wakes up the waiting thread and
allows the hw_error handling to proceed immediately.
Test case:
- Trigger a controller coredump using:
hcitool cmd 0x3f 0c 26
- Tested on QCA6390.
- Capture HCI logs using btmon.
- Verify that the delay between receiving the hw_error event and
initiating the power-off sequence is reduced compared to the
timeout-based behavior.

The MediaTek MT7927 (Filogic 380) combo WiFi 7 + BT 5.4 module uses
hardware variant 0x6639 for its Bluetooth subsystem. Without this patch,
the chip fails with "Unsupported hardware variant (00006639)" or hangs
during firmware download.
Three changes are needed to support MT6639:
1. CHIPID workaround: On some boards the BT USB MMIO register reads
0x0000 for dev_id, causing the driver to skip the 0x6639 init path.
Force dev_id to 0x6639 only when the USB VID/PID matches a known
MT6639 device, avoiding misdetection if a future chip also reads
zero. This follows the WiFi-side pattern that uses PCI device IDs
to scope the same workaround.
2. Firmware naming: MT6639 uses firmware version prefix "2_1" instead of
"1_1" used by MT7925 and other variants. The firmware path is
mediatek/mt7927/BT_RAM_CODE_MT6639_2_1_hdr.bin, using the mt7927
directory to match the WiFi firmware convention. The filename will
likely change to use MT7927 once MediaTek submits a dedicated
Linux firmware binary.
3. Section filtering: The MT6639 firmware binary contains 9 sections, but
only sections with (dlmodecrctype & 0xff) == 0x01 are Bluetooth-related.
Sending the remaining WiFi/other sections causes an irreversible BT
subsystem hang requiring a full power cycle. This matches the Windows
driver behavior observed via USB captures.
Also add 0x6639 to the reset register (CONNV3) and firmware setup switch
cases alongside the existing 0x7925 handling.

When hci_register_dev() fails in hci_uart_register_dev()
HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT is not cleared before calling hu->proto->close(hu)
and setting hu->hdev to NULL. This means incoming UART data will reach
the protocol-specific recv handler in hci_uart_tty_receive() after
resources are freed.
Clear HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT with a write lock before calling
hu->proto->close() and setting hu->hdev to NULL. The write lock ensures
all active readers have completed and no new reader can enter the
protocol recv path before resources are freed.
This allows the protocol-specific recv functions to remove the
"HCI_UART_REGISTERED" guard without risking a null pointer dereference
if hci_register_dev() fails.

The BT core skips calling the hci_dev's shutdown method when the HCI
is unregistered. This means that qca_power_off() was not getting called
leaving BT powered on.
This causes regulators / pwrseq providers to not get disabled which also
causes problem when re-loading the module because regulators and pwrseq
providers have an enablecount which now has never dropped to 0, causing
the BT to not get properly reset between rmmod and re-load which causes
initialization failure on the re-load.
Fix this by calling qca_power_off() from qca_close() when BT has not
already been powered off through a qca_hci_shutdown() call.
hci_ldisc.c will call qca_close() after freeing the hdev, so this
means that qca_power_off() can now no longer deref hu->hdev, change
the logging in qca_power_off() to no longer use hu->hdev.

Commit 5df5dafc17 ("Bluetooth: hci_uart: Fix another race during
initialization") fixed a race for hci commands sent during initialization.
However, there is still a race that happens if an hci event from one of
these commands is received before HCI_UART_REGISTERED has been set at
the end of hci_uart_register_dev(). The event will be ignored which
causes the command to fail with a timeout in the log:
"Bluetooth: hci0: command 0x1003 tx timeout"
This is because the hci event receive path (hci_uart_tty_receive ->
h4_recv) requires HCI_UART_REGISTERED to be set in h4_recv(), while the
hci command transmit path (hci_uart_send_frame -> h4_enqueue) only
requires HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT to be set in hci_uart_send_frame().
The check for HCI_UART_REGISTERED was originally added in commit
c257820291 ("Bluetooth: Fix H4 crash from incoming UART packets")
to fix a crash caused by hu->hdev being null dereferenced. That can no
longer happen: once HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT is set in hci_uart_register_dev()
all pointers (hu, hu->priv and hu->hdev) are valid, and
hci_uart_tty_receive() already calls h4_recv() on HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT
or HCI_UART_PROTO_READY.
Remove the check for HCI_UART_REGISTERED in h4_recv() to fix the race
condition.

settings through a three-entry lookup table when CVSD traffic uses

While the table only defines alternate settings for up to three SCO

btintel_hw_error() issues two __hci_cmd_sync() calls (HCI_OP_RESET

hci_req_sync_lock(). This lets it race against
hci_dev_do_close() -> btintel_shutdown_combined(), which also runs
__hci_cmd_sync() under the same lock. When both paths manipulate
hdev->req_status/req_rsp concurrently, the close path may free the
response skb first, and the still-running hw_error path hits a
slab-use-after-free in kfree_skb().

Flex array allocations: kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)

Pull tty / serial driver updates from Greg KH:
"Here is the small amount of tty and serial driver updates for 7.0-rc1.
Nothing major in here at all, just some driver updates and minor
tweaks and cleanups including:
- sh-sci serial driver updates
- 8250 driver updates
- attempt to make the tty ports have their own workqueue, but was
reverted after testing found it to have problems on some platforms.
This will probably come back for 7.1 after it has been reworked and
resubmitted
- other tiny tty driver changes
All of these have been in linux-next for a while with no reported
problems"

Core & protocols
----------------
- A significant effort all around the stack to guide the compiler to
make the right choice when inlining code, to avoid unneeded calls for
small helper and stack canary overhead in the fast-path. This
generates better and faster code with very small or no text size
increases, as in many cases the call generated more code than the
actual inlined helper.
- Extend AccECN implementation so that is now functionally complete,
also allow the user-space enabling it on a per network namespace
basis.
- Add support for memory providers with large (above 4K) rx buffer.
Paired with hw-gro, larger rx buffer sizes reduce the number of
buffers traversing the stack, dincreasing single stream CPU usage by
up to ~30%.
- Do not add HBH header to Big TCP GSO packets. This simplifies the RX
path, the TX path and the NIC drivers, and is possible because
user-space taps can now interpret correctly such packets without the
HBH hint.
- Allow IPv6 routes to be configured with a gateway address that is
resolved out of a different interface than the one specified, aligning
IPv6 to IPv4 behavior.
- Multi-queue aware sch_cake. This makes it possible to scale the rate
shaper of sch_cake across multiple CPUs, while still enforcing a
single global rate on the interface.
- Add support for the nbcon (new buffer console) infrastructure to
netconsole, enabling lock-free, priority-based console operations that
are safer in crash scenarios.
- Improve the TCP ipv6 output path to cache the flow information, saving
cpu cycles, reducing cache line misses and stack use.
- Improve netfilter packet tracker to resolve clashes for most protocols,
avoiding unneeded drops on rare occasions.
- Add IP6IP6 tunneling acceleration to the flowtable infrastructure.
- Reduce tcp socket size by one cache line.
- Notify neighbour changes atomically, avoiding inconsistencies between
the notification sequence and the actual states sequence.
- Add vsock namespace support, allowing complete isolation of vsocks
across different network namespaces.
- Improve xsk generic performances with cache-alignment-oriented
optimizations.
- Support netconsole automatic target recovery, allowing netconsole
to reestablish targets when underlying low-level interface comes back
online.
Driver API
----------
- Support for switching the working mode (automatic vs manual) of a DPLL
device via netlink.
- Introduce PHY ports representation to expose multiple front-facing

Using a threaded interrupt without a dedicated primary handler mandates
the IRQF_ONESHOT flag to mask the interrupt source while the threaded
handler is active. Otherwise the interrupt can fire again before the
threaded handler had a chance to run.
Use the default primary interrupt handler by specifying NULL and set
IRQF_ONESHOT so the interrupt source is masked until the secondary

hci_uart_set_proto() sets HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT before calling
hci_uart_register_dev(), which calls proto->open() to initialize
hu->priv. However, if a TTY write wakeup occurs during this window,
hci_uart_tx_wakeup() may schedule write_work before hu->priv is
initialized, leading to a NULL pointer dereference in
hci_uart_write_work() when proto->dequeue() accesses hu->priv.
The race condition is:

set_bit(HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT)
hci_uart_register_dev()

hci_uart_tty_wakeup()

hci_uart_write_work()

scheduled.

On QCS9075 and QCA8275 platforms, the BT_EN pin is always pulled up by hw
and cannot be controlled by the host. As a result, in case of a firmware
crash, the host cannot trigger a cold reset. Instead, the BT controller
performs a warm restart on its own, without reloading the firmware.
This leads to the controller remaining in IBS_WAKE state, while the host
expects it to be in sleep mode. The mismatch causes HCI reset commands
to time out. Additionally, the driver does not clear internal flags
QCA_SSR_TRIGGERED and QCA_IBS_DISABLED, which blocks the reset sequence.
If the SSR duration exceeds 2 seconds, the host may enter TX sleep mode
due to tx_idle_timeout, further preventing recovery. Also, memcoredump_flag
is not cleared, so only the first SSR generates a coredump.
Tell the driver that the BT controller has undergone a proper restart sequence:
- Clear QCA_SSR_TRIGGERED and QCA_IBS_DISABLED flags after SSR.
- Add a 50ms delay to allow the controller to complete its warm reset.
- Reset tx_idle_timer to prevent the host from entering TX sleep mode.
- Clear memcoredump_flag to allow multiple coredump captures.
Apply these steps only when HCI_QUIRK_NON_PERSISTENT_SETUP is not set,
which indicates that BT_EN is defined in DTS and cannot be toggled.
Refer to the comment in include/net/bluetooth/hci.h for details on
HCI_QUIRK_NON_PERSISTENT_SETUP.

hci_uart_set_proto() sets HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT before calling
hci_uart_register_dev(), which calls proto->open() to initialize
hu->priv. However, if a TTY write wakeup occurs during this window,
hci_uart_tx_wakeup() may schedule write_work before hu->priv is
initialized, leading to a NULL pointer dereference in
hci_uart_write_work() when proto->dequeue() accesses hu->priv.
The race condition is:
CPU0 CPU1
---- ----
hci_uart_set_proto()
set_bit(HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT)
hci_uart_register_dev()
tty write wakeup
hci_uart_tty_wakeup()
hci_uart_tx_wakeup()
schedule_work(&hu->write_work)
proto->open(hu)
// initializes hu->priv
hci_uart_write_work()
hci_uart_dequeue()
proto->dequeue(hu)
// accesses hu->priv (NULL!)
Fix this by moving set_bit(HCI_UART_PROTO_INIT) after proto->open()
succeeds, ensuring hu->priv is initialized before any work can be
scheduled.

This reverts commit 98921dbd00 ("Bluetooth: Use devm_kzalloc in
btusb.c file").
In btusb_probe(), we use devm_kzalloc() to allocate the btusb data. This
ties the lifetime of all the btusb data to the binding of a driver to
one interface, INTF. In a driver that binds to other interfaces, ISOC
and DIAG, this is an accident waiting to happen.
The issue is revealed in btusb_disconnect(), where calling
usb_driver_release_interface(&btusb_driver, data->intf) will have devm
free the data that is also being used by the other interfaces of the
driver that may not be released yet.
To fix this, revert the use of devm and go back to freeing memory
explicitly.

Some Qualcomm Bluetooth controllers, e.g., QCNFA765 with WCN6855
chip, send debug packets as ACL frames with header 0x2EDC.
The kernel misinterprets these as malformed ACL packets, causing
repeated errors:
Bluetooth: hci0: ACL packet for unknown connection handle 3804
This can occur hundreds of times per minute, greatly cluttering logs.
On my computer, I am observing approximately 7 messages per second
when streaming audio to a speaker.
For Qualcomm controllers exchanging over UART, hci_qca.c already
filters out these debug packets. This patch is for controllers
not going through UART, but USB.
This patch uses the classify_pkt_type callback to reclassify the
packets with handle 0x2EDC as HCI_DIAG_PKT before they reach the
HCI layer. This change is only applied to Qualcomm devices marked
as BTUSB_QCA_WCN6855.

Previously, h5_open() called h5_link_control() to send a SYNC message.
But h5_link_control() only enqueues the packet and requires the caller
to call hci_uart_tx_wakeup(). Thus, after H5_SYNC_TIMEOUT ran out
(100ms), h5_timed_event() would be called and, realizing that the state
was still H5_UNINITIALIZED, it would re-enqueue the SYNC and call
hci_uart_tx_wakeup(). Consequently, two SYNC packets would be sent and
initialization would unnecessarily wait for 100ms.
The naive solution of calling hci_uart_tx_wakeup() in h5_open() does not
work because it will only schedule tx work if the HCI_PROTO_READY bit is
set and hci_serdev only sets it after h5_open() returns. This patch
removes the extraneous SYNC being enqueued and makes h5_timed_event()
wake up on the next jiffy.

In btusb_mtk_setup(), we set `btmtk_data->isopkt_intf` to:
usb_ifnum_to_if(data->udev, MTK_ISO_IFNUM)
That function can return NULL in some cases. Even when it returns
NULL, though, we still go on to call btusb_mtk_claim_iso_intf().
As of commit e9087e8288 ("Bluetooth: btusb: mediatek: Add locks for
usb_driver_claim_interface()"), calling btusb_mtk_claim_iso_intf()
when `btmtk_data->isopkt_intf` is NULL will cause a crash because
we'll end up passing a bad pointer to device_lock(). Prior to that
commit we'd pass the NULL pointer directly to
usb_driver_claim_interface() which would detect it and return an
error, which was handled.
Resolve the crash in btusb_mtk_claim_iso_intf() by adding a NULL check
at the start of the function. This makes the code handle a NULL
`btmtk_data->isopkt_intf` the same way it did before the problematic
commit (just with a slight change to the error message printed).

A different structure is stored in drvdata for the drivers which used
that duplicate function, but h4_recv_buf() assumes drvdata is always an
hci_uart structure.
Consequently, alignment and padding are now randomly corrupted for
btmtkuart, btnxpuart, and bpa10x in h4_recv_buf(), causing erratic
breakage.
Fix this by making the hci_uart structure the explicit argument to

eliminates a redundant pointer indirection for all existing callers.

In the current btintel_pcie driver implementation, when an interrupt is
received, the driver checks for the alive cause before the TX/RX cause.
Handling the alive cause involves resetting the TX/RX queue indices.
This flow works correctly when the causes are mutually exclusive.
However, if both cause bits are set simultaneously, the alive cause
resets the queue indices, resulting in an event packet drop and a
command timeout. To fix this issue, the driver is modified to handle all
other causes before checking for the alive cause.

The "h4_recv.h" header contains a duplicate h4_recv_buf() that is nearly
but not quite identical to the h4_recv_buf() in hci_h4.c.
This duplicated header was added in commit 07eb96a5a7 ("Bluetooth:
bpa10x: Use separate h4_recv_buf helper"). I wasn't able to find any
explanation for duplicating the code in the discussion:
https://lore.kernel.org/all/20180320181855.37297-1-marcel@holtmann.org/https://lore.kernel.org/all/20180324091954.73229-2-marcel@holtmann.org/
Unfortunately, in the years since, several other drivers have come to
also rely on this duplicated function, probably by accident. This is, at
the very least, *extremely* confusing. It's also caused real issues when
it's become out-of-sync, see the following:

61b27cdf02 ("Bluetooth: hci_h4: Add support for ISO packets in h4_recv.h")

As I read this: If alignment is one, and padding is zero, padding
remains zero throughout the loop. So it seems to me that the two
functions behave strictly identically in that case. All the duplicated
defines are also identical, as is the duplicated h4_recv_pkt structure
declaration.
All four drivers which use the duplicated function use the default
alignment of one, and the default padding of zero. I therefore conclude
the duplicate function may be safely replaced with the core one.
I raised this in an RFC a few months ago, and didn't get much interest:

more eyeballs on it.
I tested this successfully on btnxpuart a few months ago, but
unfortunately I no longer have access to that hardware.

This patch implements _suspend() and _resume() functions for the
Bluetooth controller. When the system enters a suspended state, the
driver notifies the controller to perform necessary housekeeping tasks
by writing to the sleep control register and waits for an alive
interrupt. The firmware raises the alive interrupt when it has
transitioned to the D3 state. The same flow occurs when the system
resumes.

Move the creation of debugfs files into a dedicated function, and ensure
they are explicitly removed during vhci_release(), before associated
data structures are freed.
Previously, debugfs files such as "force_suspend", "force_wakeup", and
others were created under hdev->debugfs but not removed in
vhci_release(). Since vhci_release() frees the backing vhci_data
structure, any access to these files after release would result in
use-after-free errors.
Although hdev->debugfs is later freed in hci_release_dev(), user can
access files after vhci_data is freed but before hdev->debugfs is

This replaces devm_request_irq() with devm_request_threaded_irq().
On iMX93 11x11 EVK platform, the BT chip's BT_WAKE_OUT pin is connected
to an I2C GPIO expander instead of directly been connected to iMX GPIO.
When I2C GPIO expander's (PCAL6524) host driver receives an interrupt on
it's INTR line, the driver's interrupt handler needs to query the
interrupt source with PCAL6524 first, and then call the actual interrupt
handler, in this case the IRQ handler in BTNXPUART.
In order to handle interrupts when such I2C GPIO expanders are between
the host and interrupt source, devm_request_threaded_irq() is needed.
This commit also removes the IRQF_TRIGGER_FALLING flag, to allow setting
the IRQ trigger type from the device tree setting instead of hardcoding
in the driver.

The firmware raises an alive interrupt upon sending the HCI_RESET or
BTINTEL_HCI_OP_RESET command. As part of handling the reset command,
firmware initializes the hardware and data path and raises the alive
interrupt. Upon receiving the alive interrupt, the driver must enable
the data path and grant RX buffers to the firmware before sending any
commands.
The alive context maintained in the driver must be updated before
sending BTINTEL_HCI_OP_RESET or HCI_OP_RESET to prevent a potential race
condition where the context is also updated in the threaded IRQ.
The issue was observed in a stress reboot usecase (1/25) using "sudo
reboot" command where the firmware download was failing as the driver
was not granting RX buffer to firmware due to race condition.

This adds uevents which will be generated whenever FW dump is triggered,
FW dump is complete and FW (re)download is done.
This feature is needed for IW612 chipset, which is a tri-radio chipset,
where WLAN runs on CPU1 and BT and Zigbee runs on CPU2.
Currently, whenever BT FW crashes, and FW dump is in progress, there is
no way for 15.4 application to know that CPU2 is in bad state, and when
it will be recovered.
With the help of these uevents and udev rules, the 15.4 app, or any
userspace application can be alerted whenever CPU2 goes in bad state and
recoveres after BTNXPUART reloads the firmware.

This adds proper handling for the independent reset command sent by the
driver after FW dump is complete.
In normal scenario, the independent reset vendor command gives a success
response before jumping to bootcode.
However, when FW goes in a bad state, and sends out FW dump packets, the
independent reset command does not get any response from the controller.

As a fix for such scenario, the independent reset vendor command is sent
using the __hci_cmd_send() API, which does not expect any response for
vendor commands.
__hci_cmd_send is non blocking, so before the tx_work is scheduled, it
sometimes gets canceled and 3F|FC command is never sent. Adding a small
delay after __hci_cmd_send allows the command to be sent to the
controller.

This adds support for 4000000 as secondary baudrate.
This value is selected from device tree property "max-speed"
which is then used to download FW chunks, and as operational baudrate after
HCI initialization is done.
Earlier, the secondary baudrate was fixed to 3000000 in driver, but now
with "max-speed" property, this secondary baudrate can be set to
4000000.
The secondary baudrate is set by the driver by sending a vendor command
(3F 09) to the firmware, with secondary baudrate parameter, in
nxp_post_init().
Any other value set for max-speed other than 3000000 or 4000000 will
default to 3000000, which is supported by all legacy and new NXP chipsets.
This feature is applicable for all new V3 bootloader chips and w8987 V1
bootloader chip.
This property does not apply for w8997 compatible device, since it
downloads a helper.bin FW file that sets secondary baudrate as 3000000
only.
The switch to 4000000 baudrate is validated using a Saleae Logic Analyzer
and imx8m-mini with AW693 M.2 module.

Due to what seem to be a bug with variant version returned by some
firmwares the code may set hdev->classify_pkt_type with
btintel_classify_pkt_type when in fact the controller doesn't even
support ISO channels feature but may use the handle range expected from
a controllers that does causing the packets to be reclassified as ISO
causing several bugs.
To fix the above btintel_classify_pkt_type will attempt to check if the
controller really supports ISO channels and in case it doesn't don't
reclassify even if the handle range is considered to be ISO, this is
considered safer than trying to fix the specific controller/firmware
version as that could change over time and causing similar problems in

Commit 3d05fc8223 ("Bluetooth: qca: set power_ctrl_enabled on NULL
returned by gpiod_get_optional()") accidentally changed the prevous
behavior where power control would be disabled without the BT_EN GPIO
only on QCA_WCN6750 and QCA_WCN6855 while also getting the error check
wrong. We should treat every IS_ERR() return value from
devm_gpiod_get_optional() as a reason to bail-out while we should only
set power_ctrl_enabled to false on the two models mentioned above. While
at it: use dev_err_probe() to save a LOC.

zero when there is no active SCO connection, which is the same as the

bandwidth when no SCO connection.
This patch adds "Supported Altsettings" and "Switch Altsetting" commands
that allow the user space program to configure the altsetting freely.

This patch adds the infrastructure that allow the user space program to
talk to Bluetooth drivers directly:
- Define the new packet type HCI_DRV_PKT which is specifically used for
communication between the user space program and the Bluetooth drviers
- hci_send_frame intercepts the packets and invokes drivers' HCI Drv
callbacks (so far only defined for btusb)
- 2 kinds of events to user space: Command Status and Command Complete,
the former simply returns the status while the later may contain
additional response data.

Due to a hardware issue, there is a possibility that the driver may miss
an MSIx interrupt on the RX/TX data path. Since the TX and RX paths are
independent, when a TX MSIx interrupt occurs, the driver can check the

approach applies to the RX path.

A NULL pointer dereference can occur in skb_dequeue() when processing a
QCA firmware crash dump on WCN7851 (0489:e0f3).
[ 93.672166] Bluetooth: hci0: ACL memdump size(589824)
[ 93.672475] BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000008
[ 93.672517] Workqueue: hci0 hci_devcd_rx [bluetooth]
[ 93.672598] RIP: 0010:skb_dequeue+0x50/0x80
The issue stems from handle_dump_pkt_qca() returning 0 even when a dump
packet is successfully processed. This is because it incorrectly
forwards the return value of hci_devcd_init() (which returns 0 on
success). As a result, the caller (btusb_recv_acl_qca() or
btusb_recv_evt_qca()) assumes the packet was not handled and passes it
to hci_recv_frame(), leading to premature kfree() of the skb.
Later, hci_devcd_rx() attempts to dequeue the same skb from the dump
queue, resulting in a NULL pointer dereference.
Fix this by:
1. Making handle_dump_pkt_qca() return 0 on success and negative errno
on failure, consistent with kernel conventions.
2. Splitting dump packet detection into separate functions for ACL
and event packets for better structure and readability.
This ensures dump packets are properly identified and consumed, avoiding
double handling and preventing NULL pointer access.

This reverts the change baudrate logic in nxp_shutdown.
Earlier, when the driver was removed, it restored the controller
baudrate to fw_init_baudrate, so that on re-loading the driver, things
work fine.
However, if the driver was removed while hci0 interface is down, the
change baudrate vendor command could not be sent by the driver. When the
driver was re-loaded, host and controller baudrate would be mismatched
and hci initialization would fail. The only way to recover would be to
reboot the system.
This issue was fixed by moving the restore baudrate logic from
nxp_serdev_remove() to nxp_shutdown().
This fix however caused another issue with the command "hciconfig hci0
reset", which makes hci0 DOWN and UP immediately.
Running "bluetoothctl power off" and "bluetoothctl power on" in a tight
loop works fine.
To maintain support for "hciconfig reset" command, the above mentioned fix
is reverted.
