dbff364636 riscv: hwprobe.rst: Make indentation consistent
A handful of vendor-extension entries indent continuation lines with a
tab character, while the rest of hwprobe.rst uses spaces.  In addition,
many list items align their continuation lines under the 'm' of
':c:macro:' (column 7) rather than under the item text (column 4), so
the file mixes several indentation styles.

Replace the tabs with spaces and align every list item's continuation
lines under the item text, giving the whole file one consistent style.

Whitespace-only change, no functional change.

f9a82544c7 cpu/hotplug: Fix NULL kobject warning in cpuhp_smt_enable()
On arm64, when booting with `maxcpus` greater than the number of present
CPUs (e.g., QEMU -smp cpus=4,maxcpus=8), some CPUs are marked as 'present'
but have not yet been registered via register_cpu(). Consequently,
the per-cpu device objects for these CPUs are not yet initialized.

In cpuhp_smt_enable(), the code iterates over all present CPUs. Calling
_cpu_up() for these unregistered CPUs eventually leads to
sysfs_create_group() being called with a NULL kobject (or a kobject
without a directory), triggering the following warning in
fs/sysfs/group.c:

When booting with ACPI, arm64 smp_prepare_cpus() currently sets all
enumerated CPUs as "present" regardless of their status in the MADT. This
causes issues with SMT hotplug control. For instance, with QEMU's
"-smp 4,maxcpus=8" configuration, the MADT GICC entries are populated as
follows:

1. The first four CPUs: `Enabled` set but `Online Capable` not set.

2. The remaining four CPUs: `Online Capable` set but `Enabled` not set
   to support potential hot-plugging.

Fix this by:

1. When booting with ACPI, checking the ACPI_MADT_ENABLED flag in the GICC
   entry before calling set_cpu_present() during SMP initialization.

2. Properly managing the present mask in acpi_map_cpu() and
   acpi_unmap_cpu() to support actual CPU hotplug events, This aligns with
   other architectures like x86 and LoongArch.

3. Update the arm64 CPU hotplug documentation to no longer state that all
   online-capable vCPUs are marked as present by the kernel at boot time.

This ensures that only physically available or explicitly enabled CPUs
are in the present mask, keeping the SMT control logic consistent with
the actual hardware state.

    It's a common operation for Netlink CLI tools (when translating
    names to ifindexes) and previously required full rtnl_lock.

    programming model results in repeating the dump for each netdev.

Commit fb091ff394 ("arm64: Subscribe Microsoft Azure Cobalt 100 to ARM
Neoverse N2 errata") states that Microsoft Azure Cobalt 100 CPU "is a
Microsoft implemented CPU based on r0p0 of the ARM Neoverse N2 CPU, and
therefore suffers from all the same errata.".

So enable the workaround for the latest broadcast TLB invalidation bug
on these parts.

ec7216f92e arm64: errata: Mitigate TLBI errata on NVIDIA Olympus CPU
NVIDIA Olympus cores are affected by the TLBI completion issue tracked as
CVE-2025-10263. The existing ARM64_ERRATUM_4118414 handling already uses
ARM64_WORKAROUND_REPEAT_TLBI to issue an additional broadcast TLBI;DSB
sequence and ensure affected memory write effects are globally observed.

Add MIDR_NVIDIA_OLYMPUS to the repeat-TLBI match list so the same
mitigation is enabled on affected Olympus systems. Also document the
NVIDIA Olympus erratum in the arm64 silicon errata table and list it in
the Kconfig help text.

cfd391e741 arm64: errata: Mitigate TLBI errata on various Arm CPUs
A number of CPUs developed by Arm suffer from errata whereby a broadcast
TLBI;DSB sequence may complete before the global observation of writes
which are translated by an affected TLB entry.

These errata ONLY affect the completion of memory accesses which have
been translated by an invalidated TLB entry, and these errata DO NOT
affect the actual invalidation of TLB entries. TLB entries are removed
correctly.

This issue has been assigned CVE ID CVE-2025-10263.

To mitigate this issue, Arm recommends that software follows any
affected TLBI;DSB sequence with an additional TLBI;DSB, which will
ensure that all memory write effects affected by the first TLBI have
been globally observed. The additional TLBI can use any operation that
is broadcast to affected CPUs, and the additional DSB can use any option
that is sufficient to complete the additional TLBI.

The ARM64_WORKAROUND_REPEAT_TLBI workaround is sufficient to mitigate
the issue. Enable this workaround for affected CPUs, and update the
silicon errata documentation accordingly.

Note that due to the manner in which Arm develops IP and tracks errata,
some CPUs share a common erratum number.

Recent changes introduced TDX module update support. This is a thorny
feature to use correctly. It is intended for informed admins only who are
expected to either be doing things very carefully, or using it via
userspace programs that handle the pitfalls for them.

Document the basics of how to use the feature and what is expected of the
user in order for it to go correctly. Both to help the intended users of
the feature and as a "here be dragons" note for the more casual TDX users.

f20f8fe086 arm64: Document SVE constraints on new hwcaps
Two of the SVE hwcaps added for the SVE features in the 2025 dpISA did
not explicitly call out their dependency on SVE in the ABI documentation.
Do so.

While we're here reorder the SVE and fature specific ID registers for
HWCAP3_SVE_LUT6 which did have the SVE dependency but listed it second
unlike the other SVE specific ID registers.

f64328ecf4 arm64: kernel: Disable CNP on HiSilicon HIP09
HiSilicon HIP09 implements TLB entry matching behavior that deviates
from the ARM architecture specification when the CNP (Common not Private)
bit is set in TTBRx_ELx.

When TTBRx.CNP=1, TLB entries may be incorrectly shared between CPU
cores, leading to TLB conflicts and stale mappings. This affects
coherency and can result in incorrect translations.

Add the hardware erratum workaround (Hisilicon erratum 162100125) to
disable CNP on affected HIP09 cores.

80501dff81 Documentation/arch/x86: Hide clearcpuid=
This option was never meant to be used in production because it solely
clears the X86_FEATURE kernel-internal representation of what CPUID bits
it has detected and doesn't do any *proper* feature disablement like
clearing CR4.CET in the user shadow stack case, for example.

So remove its documentation so that it doesn't get used in production
and people get silly ideas. It is meant strictly for debugging; and if
a chicken bit for properly disabling a feature is warranted, then that
would need proper enablement.

No functional changes.

abca5e69ab arm64/cpufeature: Define hwcaps for 2025 dpISA features
The features added by the 2025 dpISA are all straightforward instruction
only features so there is no state to manage, we can just expose hwcaps to
let userspace know they are available.

F16MM is slightly odd in that the feature is FEAT_F16MM but it is discovered
via ID_AA64FPFR0_EL1.F16MM2. We follow the feature name.

ede94377d8 arm64: errata: Reformat table for IDs
We have some inconsistency where multiple errata for the same component
share the same Kconfig workaround; some are one ID per line, some are
smooshed together, and some are entirely separate entries. Standardise
on the single entry, one ID per line format so that things render nice
and consistently in the HTML docs, and it's simple and clear to add new
IDs to existing workarounds without churning the table too much.

This SoC is used in low end LTE-to-WiFi routers, for example some D-Link

This SoC is a relative of the zx296702 and zx296718 that had some

a2cec68637 s390/debug: Add s390dbf kernel parameter
Problem determination using s390dbf logging sometimes requires changing
the default logging level or log area size. While this is possible
using sysfs interfaces, there is no easy way to adjust these parameters
for early boot code that emits logs before userspace is available.

Add an s390dbf kernel parameter to address this shortcoming. The
parameter can be used to specify log level and area size (in units of
pages). A level of '-' turns logging off for an area. Logs can be
identified by name or a shell-style pattern.

Parameter format:

  s390dbf=<name|pattern>:[<level>|-]:[<pages>][,...]

Example:

  s390dbf=cio*:6:128,sclp_err::2

Specified parameters are applied immediately during debug area
registration for regular log areas. For early, static debug areas,
log levels are changed during early_param() parsing, while size
changes are applied at arch_initcall-time.

4fe18ddd17 ne2k: fold drivers/net/Space.c into ne.c
drivers/net/Space.c is the last remnant of the linux-2.4.x driver model
that required each subsystem and device driver init function to be called
from init/main.c explicitly, before the introduction of initcall levels.

In linux-7.0, this was only used for a handful of ISA network drivers,
with the ne2000 driver being the last one.

Fold the code into ne.c directly, with minimal changes to preserve
the existing command line parsing.

5209e5bfe5 x86/virt/tdx: Remove kexec docs
Recent changes have removed the hard limitations for using kexec and
TDX together. So remove the section in the TDX docs.

Users on partial write erratums will need an updated TDX module to
handle the rare edge cases. The docs do not currently provide any
guidance on recommended TDX module versions, so don't keep a whole
section around to document this interaction.

e4f9ab031d PCI: s390: Expose the UID as an arch specific PCI slot attribute
On s390, an individual PCI function can generally be identified by two
identifiers, the FID and the UID. Which identifier is used depends on
the scope and the platform configuration.

The first identifier, the FID, is always available and identifies a PCI
device uniquely within a machine. The FID may be virtualized by
hypervisors, but on the LPAR level, the machine scope makes it
impossible to create the same configuration based on FIDs on two
different LPARs of the same machine, and difficult to reuse across
machines.

Such matching LPAR configurations are useful, though, allowing
standardized setups and booting a Linux installation on different LPARs.
To this end the UID, or user-defined identifier, was introduced. While
it is only guaranteed to be unique within an LPAR and only if indicated
by firmware, it allows users to replicate PCI device setups.

On s390, which uses a machine hypervisor, a per PCI function hotplug
model is used. The shortcoming with the UID then is, that it is not
visible to the user without first attaching the PCI function and
accessing the "uid" device attribute. The FID, on the other hand, is
used as the slot name and is thus known even with the PCI function in
standby.

Remedy this shortcoming by providing the UID as an attribute on the slot
allowing the user to identify a PCI function based on the UID without
having to first attach it. Do this via a macro mechanism analogous to
what was introduced by commit 265baca69a ("s390/pci: Stop usurping
pdev->dev.groups") for the PCI device attributes.

Update the s390 specific PCI documentation to better reflect current
behavior and terms such as the handling of Isolated VFs via commit
25f39d3dcb ("s390/pci: Ignore RID for isolated VFs").

Add a descriptions for /sys/firmware/clp/uid_checking which was added
in commit b043a81ce3 ("s390/pci: Expose firmware provided UID Checking
state in sysfs") but missed documentation.

Similarly add documentation for the fidparm attribute added by commit
99ad39306a ("s390/pci: Expose FIDPARM attribute in sysfs") and

0baba94a97 arm64: errata: Work around early CME DVMSync acknowledgement
C1-Pro acknowledges DVMSync messages before completing the SME/CME
memory accesses. Work around this by issuing an IPI to the affected CPUs
if they are running in EL0 with SME enabled.

Note that we avoid the local DSB in the IPI handler as the kernel runs
with SCTLR_EL1.IESB=1. This is sufficient to complete SME memory
accesses at EL0 on taking an exception to EL1. On the return to user
path, no barrier is necessary either. See the comment in
sme_set_active() and the more detailed explanation in the link below.

To avoid a potential IPI flood from malicious applications (e.g.
madvise(MADV_PAGEOUT) in a tight loop), track where a process is active
via mm_cpumask() and only interrupt those CPUs.

Per Linus' comments requesting the replacement of "INDIR_BR_LP" in the
indirect branch tracking prctl()s with something more readable, and
suggesting the use of the speculation control prctl()s as an exemplar,
reimplement the prctl()s and related constants that control per-task
forward-edge control flow integrity.

This primarily involves two changes.  First, the prctls are
restructured to resemble the style of the speculative execution
workaround control prctls PR_{GET,SET}_SPECULATION_CTRL, to make them
easier to extend in the future.  Second, the "indir_br_lp" abbrevation
is expanded to "branch_landing_pads" to be less telegraphic.  The
kselftest and documentation is adjusted accordingly.

4ce0a2ccc0 arm64: mpam: Add initial MPAM documentation
MPAM (Memory Partitioning and Monitoring) is now exposed to user-space via
resctrl. Add some documentation so the user knows what features to expect.
