Every n8n-node new scaffold ships lint/format tooling (ESLint, Prettier) but had no dependabot config to keep its own dependencies current, and no .vscode/extensions.json nudging contributors toward the matching editor extensions. This was found while auditing scaffold drift between n8n-nodes-starter and the templates it's generated from: n8n-nodes-starter already carries both files by hand, which is exactly the kind of divergence the new util-refresh-starter-scaffold.yml workflow in n8n-io/n8n is meant to catch and close going forward.
