Builds the n8n image from the branch under test and runs the CE-2572 compatibility specs against it, weekly for master and 3.x, or on demand for any ref such as a release candidate line. Published images cannot be used because they do not ship the test-only e2e controller. Scheduled and dispatched runs execute on the default branch, so an image cache key derived from github.sha would make every run restore the first image built that day. The resolve job pins the branch head, the build job saves the image under that SHA, and test-e2e-reusable gets a cache-sha input (default github.sha) so the e2e shard restores the same key. |
