Behind N8N_SCHEDULER_AGENT_TASKS_ENABLED (requires N8N_SCHEDULER_ENABLED), agent scheduled tasks gain a durable path: a registrar keeps scheduled_job rows in step with published, enabled task snapshots, and a task handler starts runs by taking the existing run lock, kicking the run off in the background, and reporting dispatch within the occurrence lease. Startup reconciliation backfills jobs when the flag turns on and deletes them when it is off, so no pending occurrences accumulate behind an unregistered handler. Missed occurrences use the skip misfire policy and a held run lock skips the tick, both matching the in-memory scheduler.
