Bulk insert mode was added to facilitate forking faster, but forking now uses __mt_dup() to duplicate the tree. The addition of sheaves has made the bulk allocations difficult to maintain - since the expected entries would preallocate into the maple state. A big part of the maple state node allocation was the ability to push nodes back onto the state for later use, which was essential to the bulk insert algorithm. Remove mas_expected_entries() and mas_destroy_rebalance() functions as well as the MA_STATE_BULK and MA_STATE_REBALANCE maple state flags since there are no users anymore. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
