The CMN PLL controller provides clocks to networking hardware blocks and to GCC on Qualcomm IPQ9574 SoC. It receives input clock from the on-chip Wi-Fi, and produces output clocks at fixed rates. These output rates are predetermined, and are unrelated to the input clock rate. The primary purpose of CMN PLL is to supply clocks to the networking hardware such as PPE (packet process engine), PCS and the externally connected switch or PHY device. The CMN PLL block also outputs fixed rate clocks to GCC, such as 24 MHZ as XO clock and 32 KHZ as sleep clock supplied to GCC. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
