Convert parse_mf_symlink() and format_mf_symlink() to use the MD5 library instead of a "md5" crypto_shash. This is simpler and faster. With the library there's no need to allocate memory, no need to handle errors, and the MD5 code is accessed directly without inefficient indirect calls and other unnecessary API overhead. This also fixes an issue where these functions did not work on kernels booted in FIPS mode. The use of MD5 here is for data integrity rather than a security purpose, so it can use a non-FIPS-approved algorithm. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
