Linux kernel source tree
Introduce `mlx5_esw_devlink_rate_node_parent_set()` to allow assigning a parent to scheduling nodes. Implement `mlx5_esw_qos_node_update_parent()` and `mlx5_esw_qos_node_validate_set_parent()` to enforce constraints on node reassignment. Don't allow reassignment of nodes with active rate objects. Update `esw_qos_node_set_parent()` to handle cases where the parent is NULL. A NULL parent indicates that the scheduling element is attached to the root scheduling element, and since only rate nodes can be connected to the root, this update is now necessary. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
