Linux kernel source tree
Under bare metal, there is no more else to take
care of the GPU register access through MMIO.
Under Virtualization, to access GPU register is
implemented through KIQ during run-time due to
world-switch.
Therefore, under SR-IOV user can only access
debugfs to r/w GPU registers when meets all
three conditions below.
- amdgpu_gpu_recovery=0
- TDR happened
- in_gpu_reset=0
v2: merge amdgpu_virt_can_access_debugfs() into
amdgpu_virt_enable_access_debugfs()
v3: drop ret variable in amdgpu_virt_enable_access_debugfs()
and directly return result

Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
