Before we submit the first context to HW, we need to construct a valid image of the register state. This layout is defined by the HW and should match the layout generated by HW when it saves the context image. Asserting that this should be equivalent should help avoid any undefined behaviour and verify that we haven't missed anything important! Of course, having insisted that the initial register state within the LRC should match that returned by HW, we need to ensure that it does. v2: Drop the RELATIVE_MMIO flag from gen11, we ignore it for constructing the lrc image. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
