Remove the interval tree in the driver and rely on the tree maintained by the mmu_notifier for delivering mmu_notifier invalidation callbacks. For some reason amdgpu has a very complicated arrangement where it tries to prevent duplicate entries in the interval_tree, this is not necessary, each amdgpu_bo can be its own stand alone entry. interval_tree already allows duplicates and overlaps in the tree. Also, there is no need to remove entries upon a release callback, the mmu_interval API safely allows objects to remain registered beyond the lifetime of the mm. The driver only has to stop touching the pages during release. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
