The drm_sched_job_unschedulable trace point can access entity->dependency after it was cleared by the callback installed in drm_sched_entity_add_dependency_cb, causing: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000020 [...] Workqueue: comp_1.1.0 drm_sched_run_job_work [gpu_sched] RIP: 0010:trace_event_raw_event_drm_sched_job_unschedulable+0x70/0xd0 [gpu_sched] To fix this we either need to keep a reference to the fence before setting up the callbacks, or move the trace_drm_sched_job_unschedulable calls into drm_sched_entity_add_dependency_cb where they can be done earlier. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
