Rafał Miłecki 19f41f32a4 MIPS: BCM47XX: Setup struct device for the SoC commit `321c46b915` upstream. So far we never had any device registered for the SoC. This resulted in some small issues that we kept ignoring like: 1) Not working GPIOLIB_IRQCHIP (gpiochip_irqchip_add_key() failing) 2) Lack of proper tree in the /sys/devices/ 3) mips_dma_alloc_coherent() silently handling empty coherent_dma_mask Kernel 4.19 came with a lot of DMA changes and caused a regression on bcm47xx. Starting with the commit `f8c55dc6e8` ("MIPS: use generic dma noncoherent ops for simple noncoherent platforms") DMA coherent allocations just fail. Linux kernel
============

There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.

In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``.  The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

    https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.

Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
