Eric Dumazet 13b430574e net/x25: fix a race in x25_bind() [ Upstream commit `797a22bd52` ] syzbot was able to trigger another soft lockup [1] I first thought it was the O(N^2) issue I mentioned in my prior fix (f657d22ee1f "net/x25: do not hold the cpu too long in x25_new_lci()"), but I eventually found that x25_bind() was not checking SOCK_ZAPPED state under socket lock protection. This means that multiple threads can end up calling x25_insert_socket() for the same socket, and corrupt x25_list [1] watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 123s! Linux kernel
============

There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.

In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``.  The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

    https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.

Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
