74b654176a Blackfin: H8606: fixup bogus ioresource init
IRQF_SHARED is not part of the IORESOURCE_IRQ bits. It's expressed by
IORESOURCE_IRQ_SHAREABLE.

IORESOURCE_IRQ_HIGHEDGE and IRQF_TRIGGER_HIGH are contradicting
values, an interrupt can hardly be configured for both level and edge
at the same time. This was introduced in commit 45138439(Blackfin
arch: flash memory map and dm9000 resources updating) of course
without any hint in the changelog what the heck this is supposed to
do.

355840e7a7 md/raid5: fix bug that could result in reads from a failed device.
This bug was introduced in 415e72d034
which was in 2.6.36.

There is a small window of time between when a device fails and when
it is removed from the array.  During this time we might still read
from it, but we won't write to it - so it is possible that we could
read stale data.

We didn't need the test of 'Faulty' before because the test on
In_sync is sufficient.  Since we started allowing reads from the early
part of non-In_sync devices we need a test on Faulty too.

This is suitable for any kernel from 2.6.36 onwards, though the patch
might need a bit of tweaking in 3.0 and earlier.

08613e4626 caif: Fix BUG() with network namespaces
The caif code will register its own pernet_operations, and then register
a netdevice_notifier. Each time the netdevice_notifier is triggered,
it'll do some stuff... including a lookup of its own pernet stuff with
net_generic().

If the net_generic() call ever returns NULL, the caif code will BUG().
That doesn't seem *so* unreasonable, I suppose — it does seem like it
should never happen.

However, it *does* happen. When we clone a network namespace,
setup_net() runs through all the pernet_operations one at a time. It
gets to loopback before it gets to caif. And loopback_net_init()
registers a netdevice... while caif hasn't been initialised. So the caif
netdevice notifier triggers, and immediately goes BUG().

We could imagine a complex and overengineered solution to this generic
class of problems, but this patch takes the simple approach. It just
makes caif_device_notify() *not* go looking for its pernet data
structures if the device it's being notified about isn't a caif device
in the first place.

ee3b56f265 ceph: use kernel DNS resolver
Change ceph_parse_ips to take either names given as
IP addresses or standard hostnames (e.g. localhost).
The DNS lookup is done using the dns_resolver facility
similar to its use in AFS, NFS, and CIFS.

This patch defines CONFIG_CEPH_LIB_USE_DNS_RESOLVER
that controls if this feature is on or off.

a35eca958a ceph: let the set_layout ioctl set single traits
Previously we were validating the passed-in stripe unit, object size,
and stripe count against each other (and not testing most other stuff).
Instead, make sure that the composed previous layout and new values are valid,
and only send the new values to the MDS. This lets users change the
pool without setting the whole layout, for instance.

83eaea22bd Revert "ceph: don't truncate dirty pages in invalidate work thread"
This reverts commit c9af9fb68e.

We need to block and truncate all pages in order to reliably invalidate
them.  Otherwise, we could:

 - have some uptodate pages in the cache
 - queue an invalidate
 - write(2) locks some pages
 - invalidate_work skips them
 - write(2) only overwrites part of the page
 - page now dirty and uptodate
 -> partial leakage of invalidated data

It's not entirely clear why we started skipping locked pages in the first
place.  I just ran this through fsx and didn't see any problems.

The pool allocation failures are masked by the pool; there is no need to
spam the console about them.  (That's the whole point of having the pool
in the first place.)

The 'rsize' mount option limits the maximum size of an individual
read(ahead) operation that is sent off to an OSD.  This is distinct from
'rasize', which controls the size of the readahead window.

7c272194e6 ceph: make readpages fully async
When we get a ->readpages() aop, submit async reads for all page ranges
in the provided page list.  Lock the pages immediately, so that VFS/MM
will block until the reads complete.

20284aa77c jump_label: add arch_jump_label_transform_static() to optimise non-live code updates
When updating a newly loaded module, the code is definitely not yet
executing on any processor, so it can be updated with no need for any
heavyweight synchronization.

This patch adds arch_jump_label_static() which is implemented as
arch_jump_label_transform() by default, but architectures can override
it if it avoids, say, a call to stop_machine().

If a key has been enabled before jump_label_init() is called, don't
nop it out.

This removes arch_jump_label_text_poke_early() (which can only nop

189c3fd68c stop_machine: make stop_machine safe and efficient to call early
Make stop_machine() safe to call early in boot, before stop_machine()
has been set up, by simply calling the callback function directly if
there's only one CPU online.

[ Fixes from AKPM:
   - add comment
   - local_irq_flags, not save_flags
   - also call hard_irq_disable() for systems which need it

  Tejun suggested using an explicit flag rather than just looking at
  the online cpu count. ]

blkcg->policy_list is protected by blkcg->lock. Its not rcu protected
list. So even for readers, they need to take blkcg->lock. There are
few functions which were reading the list without taking lock. Fix it.

cf8039036a ext4: prevent stack overrun in ext4_file_open
In ext4_file_open, the filesystem records the mountpoint of the first
file that is opened after mounting the filesystem.  It does this by
allocating a 64-byte stack buffer, calling d_path() to grab the mount
point through which this file was accessed, and then memcpy()ing 64
bytes into the superblock's s_last_mounted field, starting from the
return value of d_path(), which is stored as "cp".  However, if cp >
buf (which it frequently is since path components are prepended
starting at the end of buf) then we can end up copying stack data into
the superblock.

Writing stack variables into the superblock doesn't sound like a great
idea, so use strlcpy instead.  Andi Kleen suggested using strlcpy
instead of strncpy.

b9e2780d57 sysfs: Remove support for tagged directories with untagged members (again)
In commit 8a9ea3237e ("Merge git://.../davem/net-next") where my sysfs
changes from the net tree merged with the sysfs rbtree changes from
Mickulas Patocka the conflict resolution failed to preserve the
simplified property that was the point of my changes.

That is sysfs_find_dirent can now say something is a match if and only
s_name and s_ns match what we are looking for, and sysfs_readdir can
simply return all of the directory entries where s_ns matches the
directory that we should be returning.

Now that we are back to exact matches we can tweak sysfs_find_dirent and
the name rb_tree to order sysfs_dirents by s_ns s_name and remove the
second loop in sysfs_find_dirent.  However that change seems a bit much
for a conflict resolution so it can come later.

bca7ab316e ARM: mmp: register internal sram bank
MMP2 have the internal sram, this sram can be allocated
for video, power management and secure processor.

Now the sram usage is:
0xd1000000 ~ 0xd101ffff (128KB) : reserved for secure processor
0xd1020000 ~ 0xd1037fff (96KB)  : for video and PM

Register the internal sram's second half 96KB buffer,
so that video and PM can dynamically alloc/free from it.

3c7241bd36 ARM: mmp: add sram allocator
On mmp platform, there have two sram banks:
audio sram and internal sram. The audio sram is mainly for audio;
the internal sram is for video, wtm and power management.
So add the sram allocator using genalloc to manage them.

Every sram bank will register its own platform device
info, after the sram allocator create the generic pool
for the sram bank, the user module can use the pool's
name to get the pool handler; then it can use the handler
to alloc/free memory with genalloc APIs.

93840ac40b batman-adv: unify hash_entry field position in tt_local/global_entry
Function tt_response_fill_table() actually uses a tt_local_entry pointer to
iterate either over the local or the global table entries (it depends on the
what hash table is passed as argument). To iterate over such entries the
hlist_for_each_entry_rcu() macro has to access their "hash_entry" field which
MUST be at the same position in both the tt_global/local_entry structures.
