92632115fb samples/bpf: fix bio latency check with tracepoint
Recently, a new tracepoint for the block layer, specifically the
block_io_start/done tracepoints, was introduced in commit 5a80bd075f
("block: introduce block_io_start/block_io_done tracepoints").

Previously, the kprobe entry used for this purpose was quite unstable
and inherently broke relevant probes [1]. Now that a stable tracepoint
is available, this commit replaces the bio latency check with it.

One of the changes made during this replacement is the key used for the
hash table. Since 'struct request' cannot be used as a hash key, the
approach taken follows that which was implemented in bcc/biolatency [2].

11430421b4 samples/bpf: make tracing programs to be more CO-RE centric
The existing tracing programs have been developed for a considerable
period of time and, as a result, do not properly incorporate the
features of the current libbpf, such as CO-RE. This is evident in
frequent usage of functions like PT_REGS* and the persistence of "hack"
methods using underscore-style bpf_probe_read_kernel from the past.

These programs are far behind the current level of libbpf and can
potentially confuse users. Therefore, this commit aims to convert the
outdated BPF programs to be more CO-RE centric.

02dabc247a samples/bpf: fix symbol mismatch by compiler optimization
Currently, multiple kprobe programs are suffering from symbol mismatch
due to compiler optimization. These optimizations might induce
additional suffix to the symbol name such as '.isra' or '.constprop'.

4a0ee78890 samples/bpf: unify bpf program suffix to .bpf with tracing programs
Currently, BPF programs typically have a suffix of .bpf.c. However,
some programs still utilize a mixture of _kern.c suffix alongside the
naming convention. In order to achieve consistency in the naming of
these programs, this commit unifies the inconsistency in the naming
convention of BPF kernel programs.

e7e6c774f5 samples/bpf: convert to vmlinux.h with tracing programs
This commit replaces separate headers with a single vmlinux.h to
tracing programs. Thanks to that, we no longer need to define the
argument structure for tracing programs directly. For example, argument
for the sched_switch tracpepoint (sched_switch_args) can be replaced
with the vmlinux.h provided trace_event_raw_sched_switch.

Additional defines have been added to the BPF program either directly
or through the inclusion of net_shared.h. Defined values are
PERF_MAX_STACK_DEPTH, IFNAMSIZ constants and __stringify() macro. This
change enables the BPF program to access internal structures with BTF
generated "vmlinux.h" header.

This is the formal patchset to remove unnecessary synchronizations in
cpu-map after address comments and collect Rvb tags from Toke
Høiland-Jørgensen (Big thanks to Toke). Patch #1 removes the unnecessary
rcu_barrier() when freeing bpf_cpu_map_entry and replaces it by
queue_rcu_work(). Patch #2 removes the unnecessary call_rcu() and
queue_work() when destroying cpu-map and does the freeing directly.

Test the patchset by using xdp_redirect_cpu and virtio-net. Both
xdp-mode and skb-mode have been exercised and no issues were reported.
As ususal, comments and suggestions are always welcome.

c2e42ddf26 bpf, cpumask: Clean up bpf_cpu_map_entry directly in cpu_map_free
After synchronous_rcu(), both the dettached XDP program and
xdp_do_flush() are completed, and the only user of bpf_cpu_map_entry
will be cpu_map_kthread_run(), so instead of calling
__cpu_map_entry_replace() to stop kthread and cleanup entry after a RCU
grace period, do these things directly.

8f8500a247 bpf, cpumap: Use queue_rcu_work() to remove unnecessary rcu_barrier()
As for now __cpu_map_entry_replace() uses call_rcu() to wait for the
inflight xdp program to exit the RCU read critical section, and then
launch kworker cpu_map_kthread_stop() to call kthread_stop() to flush
all pending xdp frames or skbs.

But it is unnecessary to use rcu_barrier() in cpu_map_kthread_stop() to
wait for the completion of __cpu_map_entry_free(), because rcu_barrier()
will wait for all pending RCU callbacks and cpu_map_kthread_stop() only
needs to wait for the completion of a specific __cpu_map_entry_free().

So use queue_rcu_work() to replace call_rcu(), schedule_work() and
rcu_barrier(). queue_rcu_work() will queue a __cpu_map_entry_free()
kworker after a RCU grace period. Because __cpu_map_entry_free() is
running in a kworker context, so it is OK to do all of these freeing
procedures include kthread_stop() in it.

After the update, there is no need to do reference-counting for
bpf_cpu_map_entry, because bpf_cpu_map_entry is freed directly in
__cpu_map_entry_free(), so just remove it.

use of_fwnode_handle to replace of_node_get, which introduces a side
effect that the refcount is not increased. Then the out of tree
jailhouse hypervisor enable/disable test will trigger kernel dump in
of_overlay_remove, with the following sequence

   of_changeset_destroy(&overlay_changeset);
   of_overlay_remove(&overlay_id);
"

So increase the refcount to avoid issues.

This patch also release the refcount when releasing amba device to avoid
refcount leakage.

There is a warning reported by kernel test robot:

95c337cce0 net/mlx5: DR, Supporting inline WQE when possible
In WQE (Work Queue Entry), the two types of data segments memories are
pointers and inline data, where inline data is passed directly as
part of the WQE.
For software steering, the maximal inline size should be less than
2*MLX5_SEND_WQE_BB, i.e., the potential data must fit with the required
inline WQE headers.

Two consecutive blocks (MLX5_SEND_WQE_BB) are not guaranteed to reside
on the same memory page. Hence, writes to MLX5_SEND_WQE_BB should be
done separately, i.e., each MLX5_SEND_WQE_BB  should be obtained using
the mlx5_wq_cyc_get_wqe macro.

ba3d85f008 net/mlx5: Call mlx5_esw_offloads_rep_load/unload() for uplink port directly
For uplink port, mlx5_esw_offloads_load/unload_rep() are currently
called. There are 2 check inside, which effectively make the
functions a simple wrappers of mlx5_esw_offloads_rep_load/unload()
for uplink port. So avoid one check and indirection and call
mlx5_esw_offloads_rep_load/unload() for uplink port directly.

f98e51585f net/mlx5e: aRFS, Introduce ethtool stats
Improve aRFS observability by adding new set of counters. Each Rx
ring will have this set of counters listed below.
These counters are exposed through ethtool -S.

1) arfs_add: number of times a new rule has been created.
2) arfs_request_in: number of times a rule  was requested to move from
   its current Rx ring to a new Rx ring (incremented on the destination
   Rx ring).
3) arfs_request_out: number of times a rule  was requested to move out
   from its current Rx ring (incremented on source/current Rx ring).
4) arfs_expired: number of times a rule has been expired by the
   kernel and removed from HW.
5) arfs_err: number of times a rule creation or modification has
   failed.

This patch removes rx[i]_xsk_arfs_err counter and its documentation in
mlx5/counters.rst since aRFS activity does not occur in XSK RQ's.

7a73cf0bf7 net/mlx5e: aRFS, Prevent repeated kernel rule migrations requests
aRFS rule movement requests from one Rx ring to other Rx ring arrive
from the kernel to ensure that packets are steered to the right Rx ring.
In the time interval until satisfying such a request, several more
requests might follow, for the same flow.

This patch detects and prevents repeated aRFS rules movement requests.

In mlx5e_rx_flow_steer() ndo, after finding the aRFS rule that have been
requested to move by the kernel, check if it's already requested to move
by calling work_busy(&arfs_rule->arfs_work) handler. IOW, if this
request is pending to be executed (in the work queue) or it's executing
now but hasn't finished yet, return current filter ID and don't issue a
new transition work.

67f6317dfa ice: Fix NULL pointer deref during VF reset
During stress test with attaching and detaching VF from KVM and
simultaneously changing VFs spoofcheck and trust there was a
NULL pointer dereference in ice_reset_vf that VF's VSI is null.

More than one instance of ice_reset_vf() can be running at a given
time. When we rebuild the VSI in ice_reset_vf, another reset can be
triaged from ice_service_task. In this case we can access the currently
uninitialized VSI and cause panic. The window for this racing condition
has been around for a long time but it's much worse after commit
227bf4500a ("ice: move VSI delete outside deconfig") because
the reset runs faster. ice_reset_vf() using vf->cfg_lock and when
we move this lock before accessing to the VF VSI, we can fix
BUG for all cases.

Panic occurs sometimes in ice_vsi_is_rx_queue_active() and sometimes
in ice_vsi_stop_all_rx_rings()

With our reproducer, we can hit BUG:
~8h before commit 227bf4500a ("ice: move VSI delete outside deconfig").
~20m after commit 227bf4500a ("ice: move VSI delete outside deconfig").
After this fix we are not able to reproduce it after ~48h

There was commit cf90b74341 ("ice: Fix call trace with null VSI during
VF reset") which also tried to fix this issue, but it was only
partially resolved and the bug still exists.

10083aef78 ice: fix receive buffer size miscalculation
The driver is misconfiguring the hardware for some values of MTU such that
it could use multiple descriptors to receive a packet when it could have
simply used one.

Change the driver to use a round-up instead of the result of a shift, as
the shift can truncate the lower bits of the size, and result in the
problem noted above. It also aligns this driver with similar code in i40e.

The insidiousness of this problem is that everything works with the wrong
size, it's just not working as well as it could, as some MTU sizes end up
using two or more descriptors, and there is no way to tell that is
happening without looking at ice_trace or a bus analyzer.

eb2624f55a wifi: rtw89: Introduce Time Averaged SAR (TAS) feature
Time Averaged SAR (TAS) tracks the amount of transmit power over a
period of time and adjusts the power accordingly. Two thresholds are
used to determine when to increase or reduce transmit power: Dynamic
Power Reduction (DPR) on/off. Compared to Static SAR, which has a
constant transmit power, TAS can improve the user experience or
range extension.

TAS can be enabled through BIOS, and the driver will evaluate
Realtek ACPI DSM with RTW89_ACPI_DSM_FUNC_TAS_EN to determine
whether TAS should be enabled.

8767774946 wifi: ipw2x00: refactor to use kstrtoul
The current implementation seems to reinvent what `kstrtoul` already does
in terms of functionality and error handling. Remove uses of `simple_strtoul()`
in favor of `kstrtoul()`.

There is the following note at `lib/vsprintf.c:simple_strtoull()` which
further backs this change:
| * This function has caveats. Please use kstrtoull (or kstrtoul) instead.

And here, simple_str* are explicitly deprecated [3].

This patch also removes an instance of the deprecated `strncpy` which helps [2].

Compile tested only.

It turns out that some PCSpecialist Elimina Pro 16 M models
have "GM6BGEQ" as DMI product-name instead of "Elimina Pro 16 M",

The DMI board-name is always "GM6BGEQ", so match on that instead.

The commit 06470f7468 ("mac80211: add API to allow filtering frames in BA sessions")
added reorder_buf_filtered to mark frames filtered by firmware, and it
can only work correctly if hw.max_rx_aggregation_subframes <= 64 since
it stores the bitmap in a u64 variable.

However, new HE or EHT devices can support BlockAck number up to 256 or
1024, and then using a higher subframe index leads UBSAN warning:
