ANDROID: crypto: fips140 - perform load time integrity check
In order to comply with FIPS 140-2 requirements, implement a fips140
module that carries all AES, SHA-xxx and DRBG implementations with the
associated chaining mode templates, and perform an integrity selfcheck
at load time. The algorithms contained in the module will be registered
with the crypto API, and will supersede any existing copies of the same
algorithms that were already being provided by the core kernel.

ANDROID: kbuild: lto: permit the use of .a archives in LTO modules
Permit the use of AR archives in .a format as input to the partial link that produces a kernel module. This permits a set of builtin objects to be bundled with a module object, to create a single module carrying the payload of several modules. This is used by the FIPS 140 module. UPSTREAM: kbuild: lto: Merge module sections if and only if CONFIG_LTO_CLANG is enabled
Merge module sections only when using Clang LTO. With ld.bfd, merging sections does not appear to update the symbol tables for the module, e.g. 'readelf -s' shows the value that a symbol would have had, if sections were not merged. ld.lld does not show this problem. The stale symbol table breaks gdb's function disassembler, and presumably other things, e.g. gdb -batch -ex "file arch/x86/kvm/kvm.ko" -ex "disassemble kvm_init" reads the wrong bytes and dumps garbage. ANDROID: modpost: Check for KBUILD_MIXED_TREE for Modules.symvers
When building with KBUILD_MIXED_TREE, Modules.symvers will not be built
since vmlinux.symvers won't be in the normal build outputs. Fix this by
checking for the mixed-build-prefix in the Modules.symvers target.

ANDROID: Add missing CFI jump table symbols to kallsyms
With CONFIG_LTO_CLANG_FULL, LLVM drops all CFI jump table symbols from vmlinux, which doesn't affect kernel functionality, but can make stack traces and other kernel output that prints out jump table addresses harder to read. This change works around the issue for now by adding a script that tells kallsyms about the missing jump table symbols, even though they don't actually exist in the symbol table, and generates a linker script to add the missing symbols to kernel modules. ANDROID: Kbuild: Add support for KBUILD_MIXED_TREE
When KBUILD_MIXED_TREE points to the output folder of another kernel's build output, Kbuild can compile a complete kernel tree's modules against that other kernel tree's vmlinux. This is useful when two kernel trees exist: a "Generic Kernel Image" tree and a "device kernel" tree. Both trees are complete kernel source trees, and the "Generic Kernel Image" should provide the kernel Image and device kernel tree provides device driver modules. To accomplish this, references to vmlinux.symvers in the device kernel should point to the generic kernel's vmlinux.symvers and the device kernel should skip compilation of built-in files. GDB produces the following warning when debugging kernels built with CONFIG_RELR: BFD: /android0/linux-next/vmlinux: unknown type [0x13] section `.relr.dyn' when loading a kernel built with CONFIG_RELR into GDB. It can also prevent debugging symbols using such relocations. Peter sugguests: [That flag] means that lld will use dynamic tags and section type numbers in the OS-specific range rather than the generic range. The kernel itself doesn't care about these numbers; it determines the location of the RELR section using symbols defined by a linker script. BACKPORT: kasan: remove redundant config option
CONFIG_KASAN_STACK and CONFIG_KASAN_STACK_ENABLE both enable KASAN stack instrumentation, but we should only need one config, so that we remove CONFIG_KASAN_STACK_ENABLE and make CONFIG_KASAN_STACK workable. see [1]. When enable KASAN stack instrumentation, then for gcc we could do no prompt and default value y, and for clang prompt and default value n. ANDROID: modules: introduce the MODULE_SCMVERSION config
Config MODULE_SCMVERSION introduces a new module attribute --
`scmversion` -- which can be used to identify a given module's SCM
version. This is very useful for developers that update their kernel
independently from their kernel modules or vice-versa since the SCM
version provided by UTS_RELEASE (`uname -r`) will now differ from the
module's vermagic attribute.
For example, we have a CI setup that tests new kernel changes on the
hikey960 and db845c devices without updating their kernel modules. When
these tests fail, we need to be able to identify the exact device
configuration the test was using. By including MODULE_SCMVERSION, we can
identify the exact kernel and modules' SCM versions for debugging the
failures.
Additionally, by exposing the SCM version via the sysfs node
/sys/module/MODULENAME/scmversion, one can also verify the SCM versions
of the modules loaded from the initramfs. Currently, modinfo can only
retrieve module attributes from the module's ko on disk and not from the
actual module that is loaded in RAM.
You can retrieve the SCM version in two ways,
1) By using modinfo:
> modinfo -F scmversion MODULENAME
2) By module sysfs node:
> cat /sys/module/MODULENAME/scmversion
