On some SoCs (e.g. SpacemiT K3), multiple I2S controllers share the
same physical BCLK. When one controller is already streaming, the
others must use hw_params that result in the same BCLK rate, otherwise
the shared clock would be reconfigured and corrupt the active stream.
This series adds framework-level support for this constraint:
Patch 1 adds the dt-bindings for the spacemit,k3-i2s compatible.
The K3 SoC uses the same I2S IP as K1 but requires additional clocks:
a dedicated sysclk_div, along with c_sysclk and c_bclk which are
shared across multiple I2S controllers.
Patch 2 adds a DEFINE_GUARD wrapping snd_soc_card_mutex_lock() and
snd_soc_card_mutex_unlock() so that scope-based locking picks up the
SND_SOC_CARD_CLASS_RUNTIME lockdep subclass.
Patch 3 adds the constraint logic in soc-pcm.c. During PCM open,
every DAI that has a bclk clock pointer gets a hw_rule registered
unconditionally. The rule callback runs at hw_refine time: it scans
the card for an active peer sharing the same physical BCLK (via
clk_is_match()) that has already completed hw_params, then constrains
the current stream's rate to match the established BCLK rate. The
first DAI to complete hw_params is unconstrained; subsequent DAIs
must match. Two modes are supported:
- Default (I2S): BCLK = rate * channels * sample_bits. The rule
derives the valid rate range from the current channel and
sample_bits intervals.
- Explicit ratio (TDM): if the driver sets dai->bclk_ratio
(e.g. slots * slot_width), the rule computes the single valid
rate as active_bclk_rate / bclk_ratio.
This series was prompted by review feedback on the SpacemiT K3 I2S
series, where a vendor-specific fixed-sample-rate property was rejected
in favor of a generic framework solution:

For PTL onwards Cirrus are intending to rely on function topologies,
rather than using a match table for each system type. Remove this
unnecessary match table entry. Having the match entries can
mean that systems match when they should use function topologies
instead, resulting in incorrect audio configurations. Although,
admittedly this is not too likely with this 6x amp configuration
as those are quite rare, but best to follow best practice.

For PTL onwards Cirrus are intending to rely on function
topologies, rather than using a match table for each system
type. Chrome systems tend to have custom magic in the topology
and thus need to load a specific file. This causes problems as
these system can have the same layout as generic laptops causing
the match to apply to other laptops. Add a DMI quirk that forces
these matches to only apply to specific devices.

Add a SoundWire machine table entry for the LG Gram Pro 2026
(16Z90U-KU7BK), which has an unusual configuration:
sdw:0:1:025d:1320:01 single stereo RT1320 SmartAmp on link 1
sdw:0:3:025d:0713:01 RT713 jack/headset codec on link 3
Existing rt713-rt1320 boards have two RT1320 amps on different links
("link_mask = BIT(1) | BIT(2) | BIT(3)"). The LG Gram uses a single
stereo RT1320 chip, so the new entry uses "link_mask = BIT(1) |
BIT(3)" with the existing rt1320_1_group2_adr structure, leaving the
two-channel routing to the topology.
The RT713 on this board does not expose a SMART_MIC function in
ACPI, so the .machine_check callback used by the existing entries
(snd_soc_acpi_intel_sdca_is_device_rt712_vb) would reject this
board. Drop machine_check for the new entry; speaker output and
the headset jack do not depend on the SMART_MIC presence check.
The corresponding topology source has been submitted to the SOF
project at https://github.com/thesofproject/sof/pull/10760 . The
generated sof-ptl-rt713-l3-rt1320-l1-2ch.tplg and
nhlt-sof-ptl-rt713-l3-rt1320-l1.bin will follow in linux-firmware
once that lands.
Tested on Ubuntu 26.04 with kernel 7.0.0-15: speaker (RT1320
stereo), headphone jack with auto-routing, headset mic, and the
internal NHLT DMIC array all work via the UCM HiFi profile.

Add support for the Anbernic RG-DS Speaker Amplifiers. The Anbernic
RG-DS uses two AW87391 ICs at 0x58 and 0x5B on i2c2. However, the
manufacturer did not provide a firmware file, only a sequence of
register writes to each device to enable and disable them.
Add support for this *specific* configuration in the AW87390 driver.
Since we are relying on a device specific sequence I am using a
device specific compatible string. This driver does not currently
support the aw87391 for any other device as I have none to test
with valid firmware. Attempts to create firmware with the AwinicSCPv4
have not been successful.
rt1320_2_group2_adr works with rt1320_1_group2_adr and the name_prefix
should be rt1320-2.

rt722 is aggregated with rt1320 amp in arl_rt722_l0_rt1320_l2 and it is
the only audio configuration in the ARL platform. Set .aggregated = 1 to
represent the fact and avoid unexpected issue.

NVL should be only using functional topologies for products, no monolithic
topologies are planned to be released.
In parallel a feature has been landed [1] which allows to remove the
entries from the match table for sdca codecs to rely solely on function

When there is no fallback possibility available for the function topology
use it is better to try to create a profile for the card in best effort
manner, leaving out non supported links for example.
As an example: some laptops present SSPx-BT link but we don't have fragment
yet to support this. If we only have support for functional topology
without monolithic fallback then we would fail the card creation.
The reason why the monolithic topology works on the same device is that it
does not have the SSPx-BT link handled, it is ignored.
In case when there is no fallback possibility we should try to create the
card with links that we support as best effort instead of failing and
leaving the user without a card.

Removing this match entry ensures that a PTL system comprising of a
cs42l43 codec on link3 will use function topologies.
Previously the behaviour would be use the monolithic topology associated
with this codec match table entry in preference to function topologies
and if the system had a number of smart amplifiers then they would not
be instantiated.

Function topology must be used if the ACPI match table is created based
on the reported ACPI table because the monolithic topology is not picked
for the audio configuration.
Escalate the log and ask the user to download the latest topologies.

In PC systems using ACPI, the driver is able to read back an SSID from
the _SUB property. This SSID uniquely identifies the system, which
enables the driver to read the correct firmware and tuning for that
system from linux-firmware. Currently there is no way of reading this
property from device tree. Add an equivalent property in device tree
to perform the same role.

There's a few new drivers here and quite a lot of cleanup work from
Morimoto-san but generally this has been quite a quiet release,
resulting in a fairly small diffstat. Highlights include:
- Refactoring of the Kconfig menus to be hopefully more consistant and
easier to navigate.
- Refactoring of the DAPM code, mainly hiding functionality that
doesn't need to be exposed to drivers.

- Further work on the generic handling for SoundWire SDCA devices.
- Cleanups of our usage of the PM autosuspend functions, this pulls in
some PM core changes on a shared tag.
- Support for AMD ACP7.2 and SoundWire on ACP 7.1, Fairphone 4 & 5,

ASoC: Updates for v6.17
There's a few new drivers here and quite a lot of cleanup work from
Morimoto-san but generally this has been quite a quiet release,
resulting in a fairly small diffstat. Highlights include:
- Refactoring of the Kconfig menus to be hopefully more consistant and
easier to navigate.
- Refactoring of the DAPM code, mainly hiding functionality that
doesn't need to be exposed to drivers.
- Removal of the unused upstream weak paths DAPM functionality.
- Further work on the generic handling for SoundWire SDCA devices.
- Cleanups of our usage of the PM autosuspend functions, this pulls in
some PM core changes on a shared tag.
- Support for AMD ACP7.2 and SoundWire on ACP 7.1, Fairphone 4 & 5,
various Intel systems, Qualcomm QCS8275, Richtek RTQ9124 and TI TAS5753.
Added match table entry on ptl machines to support HDMI-In capture
with rt5682 I2S audio codec. also added the respective quirk
configuration in rt5682 machine driver.

This patchset is a pick up of patch 1,2 from [1]. And I also collect
Linus's R-b for patch 2. After this patchset, there is only one user of
of_gpio.h left in sound driver(pxa2xx-ac97).
of_gpio.h is deprecated, update the driver to use GPIO descriptors.
Patch 1 is to drop legacy platform data which in-tree no users are using it
Patch 2 is to convert to GPIO descriptors
Checking the DTS that use the device, all are using GPIOD_ACTIVE_LOW
polarity for reset-gpios, so all should work as expected with this patch.
