a347304b2c net/sched: cls_api: Always acquire rtnl_lock when destroying locked classifiers
Another challenge with unlocked filters.
There is a short window in tc_new_tfilter where a tcf_proto can be found
and briefly referenced by a totally unrelated, unlocked classifier's request
and cause a race.

Feng created a poc which created this race with two threads, one creating a
u32 filter and other a flower filter in the same chain/prio:

1. Both threads enter tc_new_tfilter, both find the chain empty, both
   drop filter_chain_lock
2. u32 finishes tcf_proto_create("u32") first, calls
   tcf_chain_tp_insert_unique() -> inserts u32_tp into the chain
3. flower finishes tcf_proto_create("flower") later, calls
   tcf_chain_tp_insert_unique() -> tcf_chain_tp_find() now sees u32_tp
   already there, takes a reference on it, destroys flower's own tp_new
   and returns u32_tp to the caller.

Flower then hits the kind mismatch check (because it requested for kind
"flower" but tp->ops->kind is "u32") and goes through the errout path
which calls tcf_proto_put() on u32_tp. If the u32 thread has already
gone through its own errout (its change() call failed on the PoC's empty
options) and dropped its create and insert refs, flower's put is the
last one and drops u32_tp's refcnt to zero.

At this point tp->ops->destroy() runs in a context that never took
rtnl_lock. When that happens, it might cause a UAF like the following
(illustrated by the PoC):

Fix this by having tcf_proto_destroy() take rtnl_lock around
tp->ops->destroy() for locked classifiers whenever rtnl is not held.

To explain why I used a temp variable "not_lockless" I'd like to point to a
semi-related note on rtnl_held vs TCF_PROTO_OPS_DOIT_UNLOCKED (adding here
for future cleanup if deemed necessary):
The rtnl_held parameter and the TCF_PROTO_OPS_DOIT_UNLOCKED flag are
redundant sources of truth for whether rtnl_lock is held. Among the nine
classifier destroy(..rtnl_held..) callbacks, only flower consults the
rtnl_held parameter which it propagates to tc_setup_cb_destroy()
and tc_setup_cb_call(). The other eight (u32, flow, bpf, cgroup, route, basic,
fw, mall) ignore it entirely;-> those that call tc_setup_cb_destroy()
(u32, bpf, mall) hardcode true always instead of forwarding the parameter.

A future cleanup should remove the rtnl_held parameter from the destroy callback
signature entirely and have callers rely solely on their knowledge whether
they are running in an unlocked context.

ec48b3be2c net/sched: Handle TC_ACT_REDIRECT from qdisc filter chains
When a TC filter attached to a qdisc filter chain returns
TC_ACT_REDIRECT (ex: via an eBPF program calling bpf_redirect() or an
act_bpf action), the redirect was silently lost i.e no qdisc classify
function handled TC_ACT_REDIRECT, so the packet fell through the
switch and was enqueued normally instead of being redirected.

This has been broken since bpf_redirect() was introduced for TC in
commit 27b29f6305 ("bpf: add bpf_redirect() helper"). We got lucky
for a long time because bpf_net_context was a per-CPU variable that
was always available.

commit 401cb7dae8 ("net: Reference bpf_redirect_info via task_struct
on PREEMPT_RT.") turned bpf_net_context into a task_struct member that
is only set up by explicit callers. Without a caller setting it up,
bpf_redirect() itself crashes with a NULL pointer dereference in
bpf_net_ctx_get_ri(). However, even with bpf_net_context available,
TC_ACT_REDIRECT from qdisc filter chains cannot be honored without
adding skb_do_redirect() calls to every qdisc classify function, which
would require changes across net/sched/. Isolate it to ebpf core where
it belongs.

Instead, add a tcf_classify_qdisc() inline helper in pkt_cls.h, as a
wrapper around tcf_classify() for use by qdisc classify functions and
tcf_qevent_handle(). When the classify verdict is TC_ACT_REDIRECT,
the wrapper converts it to TC_ACT_SHOT, dropping the packet rather
than letting it continue silently. Dropping is preferred over
letting the packet through because the user immediately sees packet
loss. Silently passing the packet through would hide the problem and
leave the user wondering why their redirect is not working.

The clsact fast path, tc_run() continues to call tcf_classify() directly
and is unaffected: TC_ACT_REDIRECT is returned as-is and handled by
sch_handle_egress/ingress() calling skb_do_redirect() as before.

3f4920d165 bpf: Reject redirect helpers without a bpf_net_context
The bpf_redirect*() helpers and skb_do_redirect() obtain the per-task
bpf_redirect_info via bpf_net_ctx_get_ri(), which dereferences the
current->bpf_net_context unconditionally. That context is established
on the paths that run tc BPF such as sch_handle_{ingress,egress}(),
*except* for the case where {cls,act}_bpf was attached to a proper
qdisc. A program running from there reaches the NULL deref in two ways:

* It calls bpf_redirect() directly, which dereferences the context at
  the top of the helper:

     tc qdisc add dev eth0 root handle 1: red limit 1MB min 10KB max 20KB \
        avpkt 1000 burst 100 qevent early_drop block 10
     tc filter add block 10 pref 1 bpf obj redirect.o

* It simply returns TC_ACT_REDIRECT without helper call: tcf_qevent_handle()
  then dispatches to skb_do_redirect(), which dereferences the context

Rather than extending bpf_net_context management into the qdisc path,
make the redirect helpers refuse to operate when no context exists, and
have tcf_qevent_handle() drop a TC_ACT_REDIRECT verdict instead of
calling skb_do_redirect(). Previous behaviour was a crash, so nothing
regresses by not supporting it.

8b519cbcab net/sched: act_pedit: fix TOCTOU heap OOB write in tc offload
There is a TOCTOU race condition in flower lockless approach between sizing
a flow_rule buffer and filling it.
zdi-disclosures@trendmicro.com reports:
The cls_flower classifier operates with TCF_PROTO_OPS_DOIT_UNLOCKED
(fl_change runs without RTNL), while RTM_NEWACTION holds RTNL, so the
independent locking domains make the race reachable in practice.  KASAN
confirms:
  BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in tcf_pedit_offload_act_setup+0x81b/0x930
  Write of size 4 at addr ffff888001f27520 by task poc-toctou/312
  The buggy address is located 0 bytes to the right of
   allocated 288-byte region [ffff888001f27400, ffff888001f27520)
   (cache kmalloc-512)

Note: The result is a heap OOB write attacker-controlled content into the
adjacent slab object (requires CAP_NET_ADMIN).

The fix introduces reading tcfp_nkeys under act->tcfa_lock in all places
using a new tcf_pedit_nkeys_locked() which replaces the old tcf_pedit_nkeys().
Additionally we close the remaining TOCTOU window between the sizing read and
the fill reads by more careful accounting.
Rather than silently truncating the key count, which leads to incorrect
action semantics offloaded to hardware and secondary OOB writes if
the remaining capacity is zero or consumed by prior actions, we enforce
remaining capacity checks and return -ENOSPC if the required space exceeds
the remaining capacity.

a8a02897f2 net/sched: cls_api: Handle TC_ACT_CONSUMED in tcf_qevent_handle
tcf_classify() can return TC_ACT_CONSUMED while the skb is held by the
defragmentation engine (e.g. act_ct on out-of-order fragments). When
that happens the skb is no longer owned by the caller and must not be
touched again.

tcf_qevent_handle() did not handle TC_ACT_CONSUMED: it fell through the
switch and returned the skb to the caller as if classification had
passed. The only qdisc that wires up qevents today is RED, via three call sites
(qe_mark on RED_PROB_MARK/HARD_MARK, qe_early_drop on congestion_drop)
red_enqueue() was continuing to operate on an skb it no longer owns  in this
case -- enqueueing it, dropping it, or updating statistics. Resulting in a UAF.

  tc qdisc add dev eth0 root handle 1: red ... qevent early_drop block 10
  tc filter add block 10 ... action ct

  (with ct defrag enabled and traffic that produces out-of-order
  fragments, e.g. a fragmented UDP stream)

Handle TC_ACT_CONSUMED in tcf_qevent_handle() the same way the ingress
and egress fast paths do: treat it as stolen and return NULL without
touching the skb. Unlike the TC_ACT_STOLEN case, the skb must not be
dropped/freed here, as it is no longer owned by us.

e6e3eb5ee8 net: sched: cls_api: fix tc_chain_fill_node to initialize tcm_info to zero to prevent an info-leak
When building netlink messages, tc_chain_fill_node() never initializes
the tcm_info field of struct tcmsg. Since the allocation is not zeroed,
kernel heap memory is leaked to userspace through this 4-byte field.

The fix simply zeroes tcm_info alongside the other fields that are
already initialized.

11cb63b0d1 net/sched: Only allow act_ct to bind to clsact/ingress qdiscs and shared blocks
As Paolo said earlier [1]:

"Since the blamed commit below, classify can return TC_ACT_CONSUMED while
the current skb being held by the defragmentation engine. As reported by
GangMin Kim, if such packet is that may cause a UaF when the defrag engine
later on tries to tuch again such packet."

act_ct was never meant to be used in the egress path, however some users
are attaching it to egress today [2]. Attempting to reach a middle
ground, we noticed that, while most qdiscs are not handling
TC_ACT_CONSUMED, clsact/ingress qdiscs are. With that in mind, we
address the issue by only allowing act_ct to bind to clsact/ingress
qdiscs and shared blocks. That way it's still possible to attach act_ct to
egress (albeit only with clsact).

32a92f8c89 Convert more 'alloc_obj' cases to default GFP_KERNEL arguments
This converts some of the visually simpler cases that have been split
over multiple lines.  I only did the ones that are easy to verify the
resulting diff by having just that final GFP_KERNEL argument on the next
line.

Somebody should probably do a proper coccinelle script for this, but for
me the trivial script actually resulted in an assertion failure in the
middle of the script.  I probably had made it a bit _too_ trivial.

So after fighting that far a while I decided to just do some of the
syntactically simpler cases with variations of the previous 'sed'
scripts.

The more syntactically complex multi-line cases would mostly really want
whitespace cleanup anyway.

bf4afc53b7 Convert 'alloc_obj' family to use the new default GFP_KERNEL argument
This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

69050f8d6d treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar types
This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

Add a new u16 field, next to pkt_len : pkt_segs

This will cache shinfo->gso_segs to speed up qdisc deqeue().

Move slave_dev_queue_mapping at the end of qdisc_skb_cb,
and move three bits from tc_skb_cb :
- post_ct
- post_ct_snat
- post_ct_dnat

As demonstrated by syzbot, WARN_ON_ONCE() in tcf_classify() can
be easily triggered by fault injection. [0]

We should not use WARN_ON_ONCE() for the simple -ENOMEM case.

Also, we provide SKB_DROP_REASON_NOMEM for the same error.

Let's remove WARN_ON_ONCE() there.

369609fc62 tc: Ensure we have enough buffer space when sending filter netlink notifications
The tfilter_notify() and tfilter_del_notify() functions assume that
NLMSG_GOODSIZE is always enough to dump the filter chain. This is not
always the case, which can lead to silent notify failures (because the
return code of tfilter_notify() is not always checked). In particular,
this can lead to NLM_F_ECHO not being honoured even though an action
succeeds, which forces userspace to create workarounds[0].

Fix this by increasing the message size if dumping the filter chain into
the allocated skb fails. Use the size of the incoming skb as a size hint
if set, so we can start at a larger value when appropriate.

To trigger this, run the following commands:

071ed42cff net/sched: cls_api: fix error handling causing NULL dereference
tcf_exts_miss_cookie_base_alloc() calls xa_alloc_cyclic() which can
return 1 if the allocation succeeded after wrapping. This was treated as
an error, with value 1 returned to caller tcf_exts_init_ex() which sets
exts->actions to NULL and returns 1 to caller fl_change().

fl_change() treats err == 1 as success, calling tcf_exts_validate_ex()
which calls tcf_action_init() with exts->actions as argument, where it
is dereferenced.

a12c76a033 net: sched: refine software bypass handling in tc_run
This patch addresses issues with filter counting in block (tcf_block),
particularly for software bypass scenarios, by introducing a more
accurate mechanism using useswcnt.

Previously, filtercnt and skipswcnt were introduced by:

  Commit 2081fd3445 ("net: sched: cls_api: add filter counter") and
  Commit f631ef39d8 ("net: sched: cls_api: add skip_sw counter")

  filtercnt tracked all tp (tcf_proto) objects added to a block, and
  skipswcnt counted tp objects with the skipsw attribute set.

The problem is: a single tp can contain multiple filters, some with skipsw
and others without. The current implementation fails in the case:

  When the first filter in a tp has skipsw, both skipswcnt and filtercnt
  are incremented, then adding a second filter without skipsw to the same
  tp does not modify these counters because tp->counted is already set.

  This results in bypass software behavior based solely on skipswcnt
  equaling filtercnt, even when the block includes filters without
  skipsw. Consequently, filters without skipsw are inadvertently bypassed.

To address this, the patch introduces useswcnt in block to explicitly count
tp objects containing at least one filter without skipsw. Key changes
include:

  Whenever a filter without skipsw is added, its tp is marked with usesw
  and counted in useswcnt. tc_run() now uses useswcnt to determine software
  bypass, eliminating reliance on filtercnt and skipswcnt.

  This refined approach prevents software bypass for blocks containing
  mixed filters, ensuring correct behavior in tc_run().

Additionally, as atomic operations on useswcnt ensure thread safety and
tp->lock guards access to tp->usesw and tp->counted, the broader lock
down_write(&block->cb_lock) is no longer required in tc_new_tfilter(),
and this resolves a performance regression caused by the filter counting
mechanism during parallel filter insertions.

  The improvement can be demonstrated using the following script:

a58f00ed24 net: sched: cls_api: improve the error message for ID allocation failure
We run into an exhaustion problem with the kernel-allocated filter IDs.
Our allocation problem can be fixed on the user space side,
but the error message in this case was quite misleading:

  "Filter with specified priority/protocol not found" (EINVAL)

Specifically when we can't allocate a _new_ ID because filter with
lowest ID already _exists_, saying "filter not found", is confusing.

Kernel allocates IDs in range of 0xc0000 -> 0x8000, giving out ID one
lower than lowest existing in that range. The error message makes sense
when tcf_chain_tp_find() gets called for GET and DEL but for NEW we
need to provide more specific error messages for all three cases:

 - user wants the ID to be auto-allocated but filter with ID 0x8000
   already exists

 - filter already exists and can be replaced, but user asked
   for a protocol change

 - filter doesn't exist

Caller of tcf_chain_tp_insert_unique() doesn't set extack today,
so don't bother plumbing it in.

a13e690191 net/sched: sch_api: fix xa_insert() error path in tcf_block_get_ext()
This command:

$ tc qdisc replace dev eth0 ingress_block 1 egress_block 1 clsact
Error: block dev insert failed: -EBUSY.

fails because user space requests the same block index to be set for
both ingress and egress.

[ side note, I don't think it even failed prior to commit 913b47d342
  ("net/sched: Introduce tc block netdev tracking infra"), because this
  is a command from an old set of notes of mine which used to work, but
  alas, I did not scientifically bisect this ]

The problem is not that it fails, but rather, that the second time
around, it fails differently (and irrecoverably):

$ tc qdisc replace dev eth0 ingress_block 1 egress_block 1 clsact
Error: dsa_core: Flow block cb is busy.

[ another note: the extack is added by me for illustration purposes.
  the context of the problem is that clsact_init() obtains the same
  &q->ingress_block pointer as &q->egress_block, and since we call
  tcf_block_get_ext() on both of them, "dev" will be added to the
  block->ports xarray twice, thus failing the operation: once through
  the ingress block pointer, and once again through the egress block
  pointer. the problem itself is that when xa_insert() fails, we have
  emitted a FLOW_BLOCK_BIND command through ndo_setup_tc(), but the
  offload never sees a corresponding FLOW_BLOCK_UNBIND. ]

Even correcting the bad user input, we still cannot recover:

$ tc qdisc replace dev swp3 ingress_block 1 egress_block 2 clsact
Error: dsa_core: Flow block cb is busy.

Basically the only way to recover is to reboot the system, or unbind and
rebind the net device driver.

To fix the bug, we need to fill the correct error teardown path which
was missed during code movement, and call tcf_block_offload_unbind()
when xa_insert() fails.

[ last note, fundamentally I blame the label naming convention in
  tcf_block_get_ext() for the bug. The labels should be named after what
  they do, not after the error path that jumps to them. This way, it is
  obviously wrong that two labels pointing to the same code mean
  something is wrong, and checking the code correctness at the goto site
  is also easier ]

The filter counter is updated under the protection of cb_lock in the
cited commit. While waiting for the lock, it's possible the filter is
being deleted by other thread, and thus causes UAF when dump it.

047f340b36 net: sched: make skip_sw actually skip software
TC filters come in 3 variants:
- no flag (try to process in hardware, but fallback to software))
- skip_hw (do not process filter by hardware)
- skip_sw (do not process filter by software)

However skip_sw is implemented so that the skip_sw
flag can first be checked, after it has been matched.

IMHO it's common when using skip_sw, to use it on all rules.

So if all filters in a block is skip_sw filters, then
we can bail early, we can thus avoid having to match
the filters, just to check for the skip_sw flag.

This patch adds a bypass, for when only TC skip_sw rules
are used. The bypass is guarded by a static key, to avoid
harming other workloads.

There are 3 ways that a packet from a skip_sw ruleset, can
end up in the kernel path. Although the send packets to a
non-existent chain way is only improved a few percents, then
I believe it's worth optimizing the trap and fall-though
use-cases.

2c15a5aee2 net/sched: Load modules via their alias
The cls_,sch_,act_ modules may be loaded lazily during network
configuration but without user's awareness and control.

Switch the lazy loading from canonical module names to a module alias.
This allows finer control over lazy loading, the precedent from
commit 7f78e03513 ("fs: Limit sys_mount to only request filesystem
modules.") explains it already:

	Using aliases means user space can control the policy of which
	filesystem^W net/sched modules are auto-loaded by editing
	/etc/modprobe.d/*.conf with blacklist and alias directives.
	Allowing simple, safe, well understood work-arounds to known
	problematic software.

By default, nothing changes. However, if a specific module is
blacklisted (its canonical name), it won't be modprobe'd when requested
under its alias (i.e. kernel auto-loading). It would appear as if the
given module was unknown.

The module can still be loaded under its canonical name, which is an
explicit (privileged) user action.

32f2a0afa9 net/sched: flower: Fix chain template offload
When a qdisc is deleted from a net device the stack instructs the
underlying driver to remove its flow offload callback from the
associated filter block using the 'FLOW_BLOCK_UNBIND' command. The stack
then continues to replay the removal of the filters in the block for
this driver by iterating over the chains in the block and invoking the
'reoffload' operation of the classifier being used. In turn, the
classifier in its 'reoffload' operation prepares and emits a
'FLOW_CLS_DESTROY' command for each filter.

However, the stack does not do the same for chain templates and the
underlying driver never receives a 'FLOW_CLS_TMPLT_DESTROY' command when
a qdisc is deleted. This results in a memory leak [1] which can be
reproduced using [2].

Fix by introducing a 'tmplt_reoffload' operation and have the stack
invoke it with the appropriate arguments as part of the replay.
Implement the operation in the sole classifier that supports chain
templates (flower) by emitting the 'FLOW_CLS_TMPLT_{CREATE,DESTROY}'
command based on whether a flow offload callback is being bound to a
filter block or being unbound from one.

As far as I can tell, the issue happens since cited commit which
reordered tcf_block_offload_unbind() before tcf_block_flush_all_chains()
in __tcf_block_put(). The order cannot be reversed as the filter block
is expected to be freed after flushing all the chains.

Clsact/ingress qdisc is not the only one using shared block,
red is also using it. The device tracking was originally introduced
by commit 913b47d342 ("net/sched: Introduce tc block netdev
tracking infra") for clsact/ingress only. Commit 94e2557d08 ("net:
sched: move block device tracking into tcf_block_get/put_ext()")
mistakenly enabled that for red as well.

Fix that by adding a check for the binder type being clsact when adding
device to the block->ports xarray.

94e2557d08 net: sched: move block device tracking into tcf_block_get/put_ext()
Inserting the device to block xarray in qdisc_create() is not suitable
place to do this. As it requires use of tcf_block() callback, it causes
multiple issues. It is called for all qdisc types, which is incorrect.

So, instead, move it to more suitable place, which is tcf_block_get_ext()
and make sure it is only done for qdiscs that use block infrastructure
and also only for blocks which are shared.

Symmetrically, alter the cleanup path, move the xarray entry removal
into tcf_block_put_ext().

2ab1efad60 net/sched: cls_api: complement tcf_tfilter_dump_policy
In function `tc_dump_tfilter`, the attributes array is parsed via
tcf_tfilter_dump_policy which only describes TCA_DUMP_FLAGS. However,
the NLA TCA_CHAIN is also accessed with `nla_get_u32`.

The access to TCA_CHAIN is introduced in commit 5bc1701881 ("net:
sched: introduce multichain support for filters") and no nla_policy is
provided for parsing at that point. Later on, tcf_tfilter_dump_policy is
introduced in commit f8ab1807a9 ("net: sched: introduce terse dump
flag") while still ignoring the fact that TCA_CHAIN needs a check. This
patch does that by complementing the policy to allow the access
discussed here can be safe as other cases just choose rtm_tca_policy as
the parsing policy.

1dd7f18fc0 net/sched: act_api: skip idr replace on bound actions
tcf_idr_insert_many will replace the allocated -EBUSY pointer in
tcf_idr_check_alloc with the real action pointer, exposing it
to all operations. This operation is only needed when the action pointer
is created (ACT_P_CREATED). For actions which are bound to (returned 0),
the pointer already resides in the idr making such operation a nop.

Even though it's a nop, it's still not a cheap operation as internally
the idr code walks the idr and then does a replace on the appropriate slot.
So if the action was bound, better skip the idr replace entirely.

What happens is that inside most classifiers the tcf_result is copied over
from a filter template e.g. *res = f->res which then implicitly overrides
the prior SKB_DROP_REASON_TC_{INGRESS,EGRESS} default drop code which was
set via sch_handle_{ingress,egress}() for kfree_skb_reason().

Add an initial user for the newly added tcf_set_drop_reason() helper to set the
drop reason for internal errors leading to TC_ACT_SHOT inside {__,}tcf_classify().

Right now this only adds a very basic SKB_DROP_REASON_TC_ERROR as a generic
fallback indicator to mark drop locations. Where needed, such locations can be
converted to more specific codes, for example, when hitting the reclassification
limit, etc.

When a new chain is added by using tc, one soft lockup alarm will be
 generated after delete the prio 0 filter of the chain. To reproduce
 the problem, perform the following steps:
(1) tc qdisc add dev eth0 root handle 1: htb default 1
(2) tc chain add dev eth0
(3) tc filter del dev eth0 chain 0 parent 1: prio 0
(4) tc filter add dev eth0 chain 0 parent 1:

Fix the issue by accounting for additional reference to chains that are
explicitly created by RTM_NEWCHAIN message as opposed to implicitly by
RTM_NEWTFILTER message.

da94a7781f net/sched: cls_api: remove block_cb from driver_list before freeing
Error handler of tcf_block_bind() frees the whole bo->cb_list on error.
However, by that time the flow_block_cb instances are already in the driver
list because driver ndo_setup_tc() callback is called before that up the
call chain in tcf_block_offload_cmd(). This leaves dangling pointers to
freed objects in the list and causes use-after-free[0]. Fix it by also
removing flow_block_cb instances from driver_list before deallocating them.

2cc8a008d6 net/sched: cls_api: Initialize miss_cookie_node when action miss is not used
Function tcf_exts_init_ex() sets exts->miss_cookie_node ptr only
when use_action_miss is true so it assumes in other case that
the field is set to NULL by the caller. If not then the field
contains garbage and subsequent tcf_exts_destroy() call results
in a crash.
Ensure that the field .miss_cookie_node pointer is NULL when
use_action_miss parameter is false to avoid this potential scenario.

338469d677 net/sched: clear actions pointer in miss cookie init fail
Palash reports a UAF when using a modified version of syzkaller[1].

When 'tcf_exts_miss_cookie_base_alloc()' fails in 'tcf_exts_init_ex()'
a call to 'tcf_exts_destroy()' is made to free up the tcf_exts
resources.
In flower, a call to '__fl_put()' when 'tcf_exts_init_ex()' fails is made;
Then calling 'tcf_exts_destroy()', which triggers an UAF since the
already freed tcf_exts action pointer is lingering in the struct.

Before the offending patch, this was not an issue since there was no
case where the tcf_exts action pointer could linger. Therefore, restore
the old semantic by clearing the action pointer in case of a failure to
initialize the miss_cookie.

Due to the way the code is structured, it is possible for a definition
of tcf_exts_miss_cookie_base_destroy() to be present without actually
being used. Its single callsite is in an '#ifdef CONFIG_NET_CLS_ACT'
block but a definition will always be present in the file. The version
of tcf_exts_miss_cookie_base_destroy() that actually does something
depends on CONFIG_NET_TC_SKB_EXT, so the stub function is used in both
CONFIG_NET_CLS_ACT=n and CONFIG_NET_CLS_ACT=y + CONFIG_NET_TC_SKB_EXT=n
configurations.

Move the call to tcf_exts_miss_cookie_base_destroy() in
tcf_exts_destroy() out of the '#ifdef CONFIG_NET_CLS_ACT', so that it
always appears used to the compiler, while not changing any behavior
with any of the various configuration combinations.

80cd22c35c net/sched: cls_api: Support hardware miss to tc action
For drivers to support partial offload of a filter's action list,
add support for action miss to specify an action instance to
continue from in sw.

CT action in particular can't be fully offloaded, as new connections
need to be handled in software. This imposes other limitations on
the actions that can be offloaded together with the CT action, such
as packet modifications.

Assign each action on a filter's action list a unique miss_cookie
which drivers can then use to fill action_miss part of the tc skb
extension. On getting back this miss_cookie, find the action
instance with relevant cookie and continue classifying from there.

would better fit their usage.

d307b2c6f9 net/sched: introduce flow_offload action cookie
Currently a hardware action is uniquely identified by the <id, hw_index>
tuple. However, the id is set by the flow_act_setup callback and tc core
cannot enforce this, and it is possible that a future change could break
this. In addition, <id, hw_index> are not unique across network namespaces.

Uniquely identify the action by setting an action cookie by the tc core.
Use the unique action cookie to query the action's hardware stats.

0349b8779c sched: add new attr TCA_EXT_WARN_MSG to report tc extact message
We will report extack message if there is an error via netlink_ack(). But
if the rule is not to be exclusively executed by the hardware, extack is not
passed along and offloading failures don't get logged.

In commit 81c7288b17 ("sched: cls: enable verbose logging") Marcelo
made cls could log verbose info for offloading failures, which helps
improving Open vSwitch debuggability when using flower offloading.

It would also be helpful if userspace monitor tools, like "tc monitor",
could log this kind of message, as it doesn't require vswitchd log level
adjusment. Let's add a new tc attributes to report the extack message so
the monitor program could receive the failures. e.g.
