70cb95c736 soc: drivers for 7.2
There are a few added drivers, but mostly the normal maintenance to drivers
for firmware, memory controller and other soc specific hadware:

  - The NXP QuickEngine gets modern MSI support, which allows some cleanups to
    the GICv3 irqchip chip driver

  - A new SoC specific driver for the Renesas R-Car MFIS unit is added,
encapsulating support for the on-chip mailbox and hwspinlock
implementations that are not easily separated into individual
    drivers

  - The Qualcomm SoC drivers add support for additional SoC implementations,
and flexiblity around power managedment for the serial-engine driver
as well as probing the LLCC driver using custom hardware descriptions
    inside of the device itself.

  - Added support for the Samsung thermal management unit

  - A cleanup to the Tegra 'PMC' driver interfaces to remove legacy
APIs and allow multiple PMC instances everywhere.

  - Updates to the TI SCI and KNAS drivers to improve suspend/resume
    support.

  - Minor driver changes for mediatek, xilinx, allwinner, aspeed, tegra,
broadcom, amd, microchip and starfive specific drivers

  - Memory controller updates for Tegra and Renesas for additional SoC
    types and other improvements.

  - Firmware driver updates for Arm FF-A, SMCCC and SCMI interfaces,
to update driver probing, object lifetimes and address minor bugs.

5164f7e7ff drm: Rename struct drm_atomic_state to drm_atomic_commit
The KMS framework uses two slightly different definitions for the state
concept. For a given object (plane, CRTC, encoder, etc., so
drm_$OBJECT_state), the state is the entire state of that object.
However, at the device level, drm_atomic_state refers to a state update
for a limited number of objects.

Thus, drm_atomic_state isn't the entire device state, but only the full
state of some objects in that device. This has been an endless source of
confusion and thus bugs.

We can rename the drm_atomic_state structure to drm_atomic_commit to
make it less confusing.

This patch was created using:

rg -l drm_atomic_state | \
	xargs sed -i 's/drm_atomic_state/drm_atomic_commit/g; s/drm_atomic_commit_helper/drm_atomic_state_helper/g'
mv drivers/gpu/drm/tests/drm_atomic_state_test.c drivers/gpu/drm/tests/drm_atomic_commit_test.c

0c921b6d4b drm/tegra: dc: rgb: Allow changing PLLD rate on Tegra30+
Asus Transformer TF700T is a Tegra30 tablet device which uses RGB->DSI
bridge that requires a precise clock rate in order to operate properly.
Tegra30 has a dedicated PLL for each display controller, hence the PLL
rate can be changed freely. Allow PLL rate changes on Tegra30+ for RGB
output. Configure the clock rate before display controller is enabled
since DC itself may be running off this PLL and it's not okay to change
the rate of the active PLL that doesn't support dynamic frequency
switching since hardware will hang.

04d5d5df9d drm/tegra: dc: Support memory bandwidth management
Display controller (DC) performs isochronous memory transfers, and thus,
has a requirement for a minimum memory bandwidth that shall be fulfilled,
otherwise framebuffer data can't be fetched fast enough and this results
in a DC's data-FIFO underflow that follows by a visual corruption.

The Memory Controller drivers provide facility for memory bandwidth
management via interconnect API. Let's wire up the interconnect API
support to the DC driver in order to fix the distorted display output
on T30 Ouya, T124 TK1 and other Tegra devices.

473079549f drm/tegra: dc: Add Tegra186 support
The display architecture has changed in several signifcant ways with the
new Tegra186 SoC. Display controllers are a completely different design,
but have been given a frontend that simulates the register interface for
earlier chips.

Unfortunately the frontend isn't completely backwards compatible, so the
driver needs parameterization to take the changes into account.

One big change is that the total number of display controllers has been
increased to three. At the same time the number of planes available has
remained constant. However, planes can now be freely assigned between
the display controllers, giving applications more flexibility in making
the best use of the available resources.

Atomic state is subclassed in order to track the global bandwidth
requirements and select and adjust the hub clocks appropriately. The
plane code is shared to a large degree with earlier SoC generations,

31b02caea3 drm/tegra: Use atomic commit helpers
There's no reason not to use them, and they already get all the
semantics right, so rip out all of the custom code and replace it by the
helpers.

7116e9a802 drm/tegra: dc: Support background color
Starting with Tegra124, the interface to set the background color (the
value generated for pixels that are not sourced from any window) is via
a different register. Earlier generations called this the border color.
Reverse the feature flag and assume that IP revisions that don't have
support for background color will support border color instead.

b95800eeef drm/tegra: dc: Register debugfs in ->late_register()
The ->late_register() and ->early_unregister() callbacks are called at
the right time to make sure userspace only accesses interfaces when it
should. Move debugfs registration and unregistration to these callback
functions to avoid potential races with userspace.

459cc2c680 drm/tegra: sor: Add HDMI support
The SOR1 introduced on Tegra210 supports HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort. Add
HDMI support and name the debugfs node after the type of SOR. The SOR
introduced with Tegra124 is known simply as "sor", whereas the
additional SOR found on Tegra210 is known as "sor1".

8fd3ffa902 drm/tegra: dc: Rename register for consistency
The horizontal pulse enable bits are named H_PULSE{0,1,2}_ENABLE in the
TRM. Modify the driver to use the same naming for consistency.

42e9ce0523 drm/tegra: dc: Implement hardware VBLANK counter
The display controller on Tegra can use syncpoints to count VBLANK
events. syncpoints are 32-bit unsigned integers, so well suited as
VBLANK counters.

c134f019ab drm/tegra: Implement more tiling modes
Tegra124 supports a block-linear mode in addition to the regular pitch
linear and tiled modes. Add support for these by moving the internal
representation into a structure rather than a simple flag.

e687651bc1 drm/tegra: Add hardware cursor support
Enable hardware cursor support on Tegra124. Earlier generations support
the hardware cursor to some degree as well, but not in a way that can be
generically exposed.

Some of the code in the CRTC's mode setting code is specific to the RGB
