b8f62414fa ACPI: RIMT: Only defer the IOMMU configuration in init stage
The IOMMU configuration will be deferred if the IOMMU driver
isn't probed by the time. Make this deferral only in the
initialization stage with driver_deferred_probe_check_state().
Otherwise the devices depends on IOMMU will be deferred forever
in case the IOMMU device probe failed or it doesn't appear in
the ACPI namespace.

956ca5d72c ACPI: processor_idle: Mark LPI enter functions as __cpuidle
When function tracing or Kprobes is enabled, entering an ACPI Low
Power Idle (LPI) state triggers the following RCU splat:

  RCU not on for: acpi_idle_lpi_enter+0x4/0xd8
  WARNING: CPU: 8 PID: 0 at include/linux/trace_recursion.h:162 function_trace_call+0x1e8/0x228

The acpi_idle_lpi_enter() function is invoked within the cpuidle
path after RCU has already been disabled for the current local CPU.
Consequently, ftrace's function_trace_call() expects RCU to be
actively watching before recording trace data, emitting a warning
if it is not.

Fix this by annotating acpi_idle_lpi_enter(), the generic __weak
stub, and the RISC-V implementation of acpi_processor_ffh_lpi_enter()
with __cpuidle. This moves these functions into the '.cpuidle.text'
section, implicitly disabling ftrace instrumentation (notrace) along
this sensitive path and preventing trace-induced RCU warnings during
idle entry.

0c8231994e RISC-V: ACPI: Add acpi_get_cpu_uid() for unified ACPI CPU UID retrieval
As a step towards unifying the interface for retrieving ACPI CPU UID
across architectures, introduce a new function acpi_get_cpu_uid() for
riscv. While at it, add input validation to make the code more robust.

And also update acpi_numa.c and rhct.c to use the new interface instead
of the legacy get_acpi_id_for_cpu().

9156585280 ACPI: RIMT: Add dependency between iommu and devices
EPROBE_DEFER ensures IOMMU devices are probed before the devices that
depend on them. During shutdown, however, the IOMMU may be removed
first, leading to issues. To avoid this, a device link is added
which enforces the correct removal order.

32a92f8c89 Convert more 'alloc_obj' cases to default GFP_KERNEL arguments
This converts some of the visually simpler cases that have been split
over multiple lines.  I only did the ones that are easy to verify the
resulting diff by having just that final GFP_KERNEL argument on the next
line.

Somebody should probably do a proper coccinelle script for this, but for
me the trivial script actually resulted in an assertion failure in the
middle of the script.  I probably had made it a bit _too_ trivial.

So after fighting that far a while I decided to just do some of the
syntactically simpler cases with variations of the previous 'sed'
scripts.

The more syntactically complex multi-line cases would mostly really want
whitespace cleanup anyway.

bf4afc53b7 Convert 'alloc_obj' family to use the new default GFP_KERNEL argument
This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

69050f8d6d treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar types
This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

e7b969cbe3 ACPI: RIMT: Fix unused function warnings when CONFIG_IOMMU_API is disabled
When CONFIG_IOMMU_API is disabled, some functions defined outside its
conditional scope become unused, triggering compiler warnings reported
by the kernel test robot.

Move these function definitions inside the #ifdef CONFIG_IOMMU_API block
to prevent unused function warnings when the configuration is disabled.

4d185fdeef ACPI: RISC-V: Add support to update gsi range
Some RISC-V interrupt controllers like RPMI based system MSI interrupt
controllers do not have MADT entry defined. These interrupt controllers
exist only in the namespace. ACPI spec defines _GSB method to get the
GSI base of the interrupt controller, However, there is no such standard
method to get the GSI range. To support such interrupt controllers, set
the GSI range of such interrupt controllers to non-overlapping range and
provide API for interrupt controller driver to update it with proper
value.

8f77295525 ACPI: RISC-V: Add support for RIMT
RISC-V IO Mapping Table (RIMT) is a static ACPI table to communicate
IOMMU information to the OS. The spec is available at [1].

The changes at high level are,
	a) Initialize data structures required for IOMMU/device
	   configuration using the data from RIMT. Provide APIs required
	   for device configuration.
	b) Provide an API for IOMMU drivers to register the
	   fwnode with RIMT data structures. This API will create a
	   fwnode for PCIe IOMMU.

ACPI: RISC-V: Remove unnecessary CPPC debug message
The presence or absence of the CPPC SBI extension is currently logged
on every boot. This message is not particularly useful and can clutter
the boot log. Remove this debug message to reduce noise during boot.

This change has no functional impact.

To avoid arch-specific code in general ACPI initialization flow,
introduce a weak symbol acpi_arch_init().

Currently, arm64 and riscv can utillize this to insert their
arch-specific flow.

1b173cc4bf ACPI: RISC-V: Implement function to add implicit dependencies
RISC-V interrupt controllers for wired interrupts are platform devices
and hence their driver will be probed late. Also, APLIC which is one
such interrupt controller can not be probed early since it needs MSI
services. This needs a probing order between the interrupt controller
driver and the device drivers.

_DEP is typically used to indicate such dependencies. However, the
dependency may be already available like GSI mapping. Hence, instead of
an explicit _DEP, architecture can find the implicit dependencies and
add to the dependency list.

For RISC-V, add the dependencies for below use cases.

1) For devices which has IRQ resource, find out the interrupt controller
   using GSI number map and add the dependency.

2) For PCI host bridges:
        a) If _PRT indicate PCI link devices, add dependency on the link
           device.
        b) If _PRT indicates GSI, find out the interrupt controller
           using GSI number map and add the dependency.

f8bba143da ACPI: RISC-V: Implement function to reorder irqchip probe entries
On RISC-V platforms, the RINTC structures should be probed before any
other interrupt controller structures and IMSIC before APLIC. This order
is established by using MADT sub table types which are ordered in the
incremental order from the RINTC. So, add the architecture function for
RISC-V to reorder the interrupt controller probing as per the hierarchy
like below.

  ACPI_MADT_TYPE_RINTC = 24,
  ACPI_MADT_TYPE_IMSIC = 25,
  ACPI_MADT_TYPE_APLIC = 26,
  ACPI_MADT_TYPE_PLIC = 27

This means processing all RINTC structures (in the order of appearance
in MADT), followed by IMSIC strucutre and then all APLIC/PLIC
structures.
