f8e84013a5 tools: testing: selftests: add iomux instance
Add a new instance for rockchip pinctrl to do selftest, and the userland
can set or get the iomux to one pin directly.

Build the iomux by gcc:
    xx-gcc tools/testing/selftests/rkpinctrl/iomux.c -o iomux

Tested on rk3588-evb1:

[root@RK3588:/]# iomux 1 15 1
[root@RK3588:/]# iomux 1 15
mux get (GPIO1-15) = 1

[root@RK3588:/]# iomux 1 15 2
[root@RK3588:/]# iomux 1 15
mux get (GPIO1-15) = 2

2ee56aad31 ANDROID: fips140: add AES-CMAC
AES-CMAC is a FIPS allowed algorithm, and fips140.ko already has
arm64 implementations of it. Meanwhile, GKI includes both these arm64
implementations as well as the "cmac" template. Add the "cmac" template
to fips140.ko too and add a self-test for AES-CMAC, so that we can
include AES-CMAC in the set of algorithms which will be certified.

As with a number of the other algorithms, the criteria for which
algorithms need to be in the certified set are still not particularly
clear, but the latest guidance we've received is to error on the side of
including algorithms.

17ccefe140 ANDROID: fips140: use full 16-byte IV
By using the initial_value parameter when creating the pycryptodome
AES-CTR instance, we can use any 16-byte IV, like the other AES modes.
Therefore, there's no need for the last 4 bytes of the IV to be 0.
This doesn't really matter, but it seems nice to avoid this quirk.

0ad4ddb27e libbpf: Re-build libbpf.so when libbpf.map changes

Ensure libbpf.so is re-built whenever libbpf.map is modified. Without this,
changes to libbpf.map are not detected and versioned symbols mismatch error
will be reported until `make clean && make` is used, which is a suboptimal
developer experience.

The "probed" part of test_core_autosize copies an integer using

On big-endian machines a destination offset is required for this to
produce a sensible result.

8c3b5028ec libbpf: Fix removal of inner map in bpf_object__create_map
[ Upstream commit a21ab4c59e ]

If creating an outer map of a BTF-defined map-in-map fails (via
bpf_object__create_map()), then the previously created its inner map
won't be destroyed.

77b77d45a4 perf annotate: Fix jump parsing for C++ code.
commit 1f0e6edcd9 upstream.

Considering the following testcase:

  int
  foo(int a, int b)
  {
     for (unsigned i = 0; i < 1000000000; i++)
       a += b;
     return a;
  }

  int main()
  {
     foo (3, 4);
     return 0;
  }

'perf annotate' displays:

  86.52 │40055e: → ja   40056c <foo(int, int)+0x26>
  13.37 │400560:   mov  -0x18(%rbp),%eax
        │400563:   add  %eax,-0x14(%rbp)
        │400566:   addl $0x1,-0x4(%rbp)
   0.11 │40056a: → jmp  400557 <foo(int, int)+0x11>
        │40056c:   mov  -0x14(%rbp),%eax
        │40056f:   pop  %rbp

and the 'ja 40056c' does not link to the location in the function. It's
caused by fact that comma is wrongly parsed, it's part of function
signature.

With my patch I see:

  86.52 │   ┌──ja   26
  13.37 │   │  mov  -0x18(%rbp),%eax
        │   │  add  %eax,-0x14(%rbp)
        │   │  addl $0x1,-0x4(%rbp)
   0.11 │   │↑ jmp  11
        │26:└─→mov  -0x14(%rbp),%eax

and 'o' output prints:

  86.52 │4005┌── ↓ ja   40056c <foo(int, int)+0x26>
  13.37 │4005│0:   mov  -0x18(%rbp),%eax
        │4005│3:   add  %eax,-0x14(%rbp)
        │4005│6:   addl $0x1,-0x4(%rbp)
   0.11 │4005│a: ↑ jmp  400557 <foo(int, int)+0x11>
        │4005└─→   mov  -0x14(%rbp),%eax

On the contrary, compiling the very same file with gcc -x c, the parsing
is fine because function arguments are not displayed:

  jmp  400543 <foo+0x1d>

Committer testing:

Before:

  $ cat cpp_args_annotate.c
  int
  foo(int a, int b)
  {
     for (unsigned i = 0; i < 1000000000; i++)
       a += b;

  }

                pop  %rbp
              ← retq
  $

I.e. works for C, now lets switch to C++:

  $ g++ -g cpp_args_annotate.c -o cpp_args_annotate
  $ perf record ./cpp_args_annotate
  [ perf record: Woken up 1 times to write data ]
  [ perf record: Captured and wrote 0.268 MB perf.data (6976 samples) ]
  $ perf annotate --stdio2 foo

  foo() /home/acme/c/cpp_args_annotate
  Percent
              0000000000401106 <foo(int, int)>:
              foo(int, int):

              foo(int a, int b)
              {
                push %rbp
                mov  %rsp,%rbp
                mov  %edi,-0x14(%rbp)

                cmpl $0x3b9ac9ff,-0x4(%rbp)
   86.53      → ja   40112c <foo(int, int)+0x26>
              a += b;
   13.32        mov  -0x18(%rbp),%eax
    0.00        add  %eax,-0x14(%rbp)
              for (unsigned i = 0; i < 1000000000; i++)
                addl $0x1,-0x4(%rbp)
    0.15      → jmp  401117 <foo(int, int)+0x11>
              return a;
                mov  -0x14(%rbp),%eax
              }
                pop  %rbp
              ← retq
  $

Reproduced.

Now with this patch:

Reusing the C++ built binary, as we can see here:

  $ readelf -wi cpp_args_annotate | grep producer
    <c>   DW_AT_producer    : (indirect string, offset: 0x2e): GNU C++14 10.2.1 20201125 (Red Hat 10.2.1-9) -mtune=generic -march=x86-64 -g
  $

And furthermore:

  $ file cpp_args_annotate
  cpp_args_annotate: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, interpreter /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2, BuildID[sha1]=4fe3cab260204765605ec630d0dc7a7e93c361a9, for GNU/Linux 3.2.0, with debug_info, not stripped
  $ perf buildid-list -i cpp_args_annotate
  4fe3cab260204765605ec630d0dc7a7e93c361a9
  $ perf buildid-list | grep cpp_args_annotate
  4fe3cab260204765605ec630d0dc7a7e93c361a9 /home/acme/c/cpp_args_annotate
  $

It now works:

  $ perf annotate --stdio2 foo
  Samples: 6K of event 'cycles:u', 4000 Hz, Event count (approx.): 7380681761, [percent: local period]
  foo() /home/acme/c/cpp_args_annotate

              foo(int a, int b)

94687c49b6 perf record: Fix memory leak in vDSO found using ASAN
commit 41d5854113 upstream.

I got several memory leak reports from Asan with a simple command. It
was because VDSO is not released due to the refcount. Like in
__dsos_addnew_id(), it should put the refcount after adding to the list.

0d8e39bb94 perf env: Fix memory leak of bpf_prog_info_linear member
commit 67069a1f0f upstream.

ASan reported a memory leak caused by info_linear not being deallocated.

The info_linear was allocated during in perf_event__synthesize_one_bpf_prog().

This patch adds the corresponding free() when bpf_prog_info_node
is freed in perf_env__purge_bpf().

30ea1c5352 bpf, selftests: Adjust few selftest outcomes wrt unreachable code
commit 973377ffe8 upstream

In almost all cases from test_verifier that have been changed in here, we've
had an unreachable path with a load from a register which has an invalid
address on purpose. This was basically to make sure that we never walk this
path and to have the verifier complain if it would otherwise. Change it to
match on the right error for unprivileged given we now test these paths
under speculative execution.

There's one case where we match on exact # of insns_processed. Due to the
extra path, this will of course mismatch on unprivileged. Thus, restrict the
test->insn_processed check to privileged-only.

In one other case, we result in a 'pointer comparison prohibited' error. This
is similarly due to verifying an 'invalid' branch where we end up with a value
pointer on one side of the comparison.

98bf2906d3 bpf: Update selftests to reflect new error states
commit d7a5091351 upstream

Update various selftest error messages:

 * The 'Rx tried to sub from different maps, paths, or prohibited types'
   is reworked into more specific/differentiated error messages for better
   guidance.

 * The change into 'value -4294967168 makes map_value pointer be out of
   bounds' is due to moving the mixed bounds check into the speculation
   handling and thus occuring slightly later than above mentioned sanity
   check.

 * The change into 'math between map_value pointer and register with
   unbounded min value' is similarly due to register sanity check coming
   before the mixed bounds check.

 * The case of 'map access: known scalar += value_ptr from different maps'
   now loads fine given masks are the same from the different paths (despite
   max map value size being different).

commit f62700ce63 upstream.

selftests/bpf/Makefile includes tools/scripts/Makefile.include.
With the following command
  make -j60 LLVM=1 LLVM_IAS=1  <=== compile kernel

some files are still compiled with gcc. This patch
fixed the case if CC/AR/LD/CXX/STRIP is allowed to be
overridden, it will be written to clang/llvm-ar/..., instead of
gcc binaries. The definition of CC_NO_CLANG is also relocated
to the place after the above CC is defined.

25af91a806 perf inject: Close inject.output on exit
commit 02e6246f53 upstream.

ASan reports a memory leak when running:

  # perf test "83: Zstd perf.data compression/decompression"

which happens inside 'perf inject'.

The bug is caused by inject.output never being closed.

This patch adds the missing perf_data__close().

1077e2b152 selftest: use mmap instead of posix_memalign to allocate memory
commit 0db282ba2c upstream.

This test passes pointers obtained from anon_allocate_area to the
userfaultfd and mremap APIs. This causes a problem if the system
allocator returns tagged pointers because with the tagged address ABI
the kernel rejects tagged addresses passed to these APIs, which would
end up causing the test to fail. To make this test compatible with such
system allocators, stop using the system allocator to allocate memory in
anon_allocate_area, and instead just use mmap.

57efe4f82a perf sched: Fix record failure when CONFIG_SCHEDSTATS is not set
[ Upstream commit b0f008551f ]

The tracepoints trace_sched_stat_{wait, sleep, iowait} are not exposed to user
if CONFIG_SCHEDSTATS is not set, "perf sched record" records the three events.
As a result, the command fails.

Before:

  #perf sched record sleep 1
  event syntax error: 'sched:sched_stat_wait'
                       \___ unknown tracepoint

  Error:  File /sys/kernel/tracing/events/sched/sched_stat_wait not found.
  Hint: Perhaps this kernel misses some CONFIG_ setting to enable this feature?.

  Run 'perf list' for a list of valid events

   Usage: perf record [<options>] [<command>]
      or: perf record [<options>] -- <command> [<options>]

      -e, --event <event> event selector. use 'perf list' to list available events

Solution:
  Check whether schedstat tracepoints are exposed. If no, these events are not recorded.

After:
  # perf sched record sleep 1
  [ perf record: Woken up 1 times to write data ]
  [ perf record: Captured and wrote 0.163 MB perf.data (1091 samples) ]
  # perf sched report
  run measurement overhead: 4736 nsecs
  sleep measurement overhead: 9059979 nsecs
  the run test took 999854 nsecs
  the sleep test took 8945271 nsecs
  nr_run_events:        716
  nr_sleep_events:      785
  nr_wakeup_events:     0

2ae8f40a8f perf script: Fix memory 'threads' and 'cpus' leaks on exit
[ Upstream commit faf3ac305d ]

ASan reports several memory leaks while running:

  # perf test "82: Use vfs_getname probe to get syscall args filenames"

a2f0da3af6 perf test maps__merge_in: Fix memory leak of maps
[ Upstream commit 244d1797c8 ]

ASan reports a memory leak when running:

  # perf test "65: maps__merge_in"

This is the second and final patch addressing these memory leaks.

This time, the problem is simply that the maps object is never
destructed.

This patch adds the missing maps__exit call.

b7bfd8aeb9 perf dso: Fix memory leak in dso__new_map()
[ Upstream commit 581e295a0f ]

ASan reports a memory leak when running:

  # perf test "65: maps__merge_in".

The causes of the leaks are two, this patch addresses only the first
one, which is related to dso__new_map().

The bug is that dso__new_map() creates a new dso but never decreases the
refcount it gets from creating it.

This patch adds the missing dso__put().

c9c101da3e perf test event_update: Fix memory leak of evlist
[ Upstream commit fc56f54f6f ]

ASan reports a memory leak when running:

  # perf test "49: Synthesize attr update"

Caused by evlist not being deleted.

This patch adds the missing evlist__delete and removes the
perf_cpu_map__put since it's already being deleted by evlist__delete.

b768db7f80 perf test session_topology: Delete session->evlist
[ Upstream commit 233f2dc1c2 ]

ASan reports a memory leak related to session->evlist while running:

  # perf test "41: Session topology".

When perf_data is in write mode, session->evlist is owned by the caller,
which should also take care of deleting it.

This patch adds the missing evlist__delete().
