3cbf2deaa0 FROMLIST: fb: add dma-buf support
Add support for the dma-buf exporter role to the frame buffer API. The
importer role isn't meaningful for frame buffer devices, as the frame
buffer device model doesn't allow using externally allocated memory.

taken from an RFC on the linaro-mm-sig mailing list:
http://lists.linaro.org/pipermail/linaro-mm-sig/2012-June/002167.html

Fixes by Mark Yao:
  add FBIOGET_DMABUF to compat_ioctl.

8b19e980a6 drm: introduce share plane
The plane hardware is used when the display scanout run into plane active
scanout, that means we can reuse the plane hardware resources on plane
non-active scanout.

Because resource share, There are some limit on share plane: one group
of share planes need use same zpos, can't not overlap, etc.

We assume share plane is a universal plane with some limit flags.
people who use the share plane need know the limit, should call the ioctl
DRM_CLIENT_CAP_SHARE_PLANES, and judge the planes limit before use it.

commit 141e5dcaa7 upstream.

71b1af8774 Input: input_event - provide override for sparc64
commit 2e746942eb upstream.

The usec part of the timeval is defined as
__kernel_suseconds_t	tv_usec; /* microseconds */

Arnd noticed that sparc64 is the only architecture that defines
__kernel_suseconds_t as int rather than long.

This breaks the current y2038 fix for kernel as we only access and define
the timeval struct for non-kernel use cases. But, this was hidden by an
another typo in the use of __KERNEL__ qualifier.

Fix the typo, and provide an override for sparc64.

dec031f640 UPSTREAM: mm/memfd: Add an F_SEAL_FUTURE_WRITE seal to memfd
Android uses ashmem for sharing memory regions. We are looking forward to
migrating all usecases of ashmem to memfd so that we can possibly remove
the ashmem driver in the future from staging while also benefiting from
using memfd and contributing to it. Note staging drivers are also not ABI
and generally can be removed at anytime.

One of the main usecases Android has is the ability to create a region and
mmap it as writeable, then add protection against making any "future"
writes while keeping the existing already mmap'ed writeable-region active.
This allows us to implement a usecase where receivers of the shared
memory buffer can get a read-only view, while the sender continues to
write to the buffer. See CursorWindow documentation in Android for more
details:
https://developer.android.com/reference/android/database/CursorWindow

This usecase cannot be implemented with the existing F_SEAL_WRITE seal.
To support the usecase, this patch adds a new F_SEAL_FUTURE_WRITE seal
which prevents any future mmap and write syscalls from succeeding while
keeping the existing mmap active.

A better way to do F_SEAL_FUTURE_WRITE seal was discussed [1] last week
where we don't need to modify core VFS structures to get the same
behavior of the seal. This solves several side-effects pointed by Andy.
self-tests are provided in later patch to verify the expected semantics.

Joel Fernandes (Google)
1dc8ca4429 UPSTREAM: mm: Add an F_SEAL_FUTURE_WRITE seal to memfd
Android uses ashmem for sharing memory regions. We are looking forward
to migrating all usecases of ashmem to memfd so that we can possibly
remove the ashmem driver in the future from staging while also
benefiting from using memfd and contributing to it. Note staging drivers
are also not ABI and generally can be removed at anytime.

One of the main usecases Android has is the ability to create a region
and mmap it as writeable, then add protection against making any
"future" writes while keeping the existing already mmap'ed
writeable-region active. This allows us to implement a usecase where
receivers of the shared memory buffer can get a read-only view, while
the sender continues to write to the buffer.
See CursorWindow documentation in Android for more details:
https://developer.android.com/reference/android/database/CursorWindow

This usecase cannot be implemented with the existing F_SEAL_WRITE seal.
To support the usecase, this patch adds a new F_SEAL_FUTURE_WRITE seal
which prevents any future mmap and write syscalls from succeeding while
keeping the existing mmap active. The following program shows the seal
working in action:

 #include <stdio.h>
 #include <errno.h>
 #include <sys/mman.h>
 #include <linux/memfd.h>
 #include <linux/fcntl.h>
 #include <asm/unistd.h>
 #include <unistd.h>
 #define F_SEAL_FUTURE_WRITE 0x0010
 #define REGION_SIZE (5 * 1024 * 1024)

int memfd_create_region(const char *name, size_t size)
{
    int ret;
    int fd = syscall(__NR_memfd_create, name, MFD_ALLOW_SEALING);
    if (fd < 0) return fd;
    ret = ftruncate(fd, size);
    if (ret < 0) { close(fd); return ret; }
    return fd;
}

int main() {
    int ret, fd;
    void *addr, *addr2, *addr3, *addr1;
    ret = memfd_create_region("test_region", REGION_SIZE);
    printf("ret=%d\n", ret);
    fd = ret;

    // Create map
    addr = mmap(0, REGION_SIZE, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_SHARED, fd, 0);
    if (addr == MAP_FAILED)
	    printf("map 0 failed\n");
    else
	    printf("map 0 passed\n");

    if ((ret = write(fd, "test", 4)) != 4)
	    printf("write failed even though no future-write seal "
		   "(ret=%d errno =%d)\n", ret, errno);
    else
	    printf("write passed\n");

    addr1 = mmap(0, REGION_SIZE, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_SHARED, fd, 0);
    if (addr1 == MAP_FAILED)
	    perror("map 1 prot-write failed even though no seal\n");
    else
	    printf("map 1 prot-write passed as expected\n");

    ret = fcntl(fd, F_ADD_SEALS, F_SEAL_FUTURE_WRITE |
				 F_SEAL_GROW |
				 F_SEAL_SHRINK);
    if (ret == -1)
	    printf("fcntl failed, errno: %d\n", errno);
    else
	    printf("future-write seal now active\n");

    if ((ret = write(fd, "test", 4)) != 4)
	    printf("write failed as expected due to future-write seal\n");
    else
	    printf("write passed (unexpected)\n");

    addr2 = mmap(0, REGION_SIZE, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_SHARED, fd, 0);
    if (addr2 == MAP_FAILED)
	    perror("map 2 prot-write failed as expected due to seal\n");
    else
	    printf("map 2 passed\n");

    addr3 = mmap(0, REGION_SIZE, PROT_READ, MAP_SHARED, fd, 0);
    if (addr3 == MAP_FAILED)
	    perror("map 3 failed\n");
    else
	    printf("map 3 prot-read passed as expected\n");
}

The output of running this program is as follows:
ret=3
map 0 passed
write passed
map 1 prot-write passed as expected
future-write seal now active
write failed as expected due to future-write seal
map 2 prot-write failed as expected due to seal
: Permission denied
map 3 prot-read passed as expected

79f034b2b2 UPSTREAM: media: rc: lirc does not use LIRC_CAN_SEND_SCANCODE feature
Since commit 02d742f4b2 ("media: lirc: lirc daemon fails to detect raw
IR device"), the feature LIRC_CAN_SEND_SCANCODE is no longer used as it
tripped up lircd. The ability to send scancodes for IR Tx is implied by
LIRC_CAN_SEND_PULSE (i.e. any device that can send can use IR Tx encoders).

So, remove LIRC_CAN_SEND_SCANCODE since it never used. This fixes:

23d520c7b6 UPSTREAM: media: lirc: implement scancode sending
This introduces a new lirc mode: scancode. Any device which can send raw IR
can now also send scancodes.

int main()
{
	int mode, fd = open("/dev/lirc0", O_RDWR);

        mode = LIRC_MODE_SCANCODE;
	if (ioctl(fd, LIRC_SET_SEND_MODE, &mode)) {
		// kernel too old or lirc does not support transmit
	}
	struct lirc_scancode scancode = {
		.scancode = 0x1e3d,
		.rc_proto = RC_PROTO_RC5,
	};
	write(fd, &scancode, sizeof(scancode));
	close(fd);
}

The other fields of lirc_scancode must be set to 0.

Note that toggle (rc5, rc6) and repeats (nec) are not implemented. Nor is
there a method for holding down a key for a period.

commit 9137bb27e6 upstream

Add the PR_SPEC_INDIRECT_BRANCH option for the PR_GET_SPECULATION_CTRL and
PR_SET_SPECULATION_CTRL prctls to allow fine grained per task control of
indirect branch speculation via STIBP and IBPB.

Invocations:
 Check indirect branch speculation status with
 - prctl(PR_GET_SPECULATION_CTRL, PR_SPEC_INDIRECT_BRANCH, 0, 0, 0);

 Enable indirect branch speculation with
 - prctl(PR_SET_SPECULATION_CTRL, PR_SPEC_INDIRECT_BRANCH, PR_SPEC_ENABLE, 0, 0);

 Disable indirect branch speculation with
 - prctl(PR_SET_SPECULATION_CTRL, PR_SPEC_INDIRECT_BRANCH, PR_SPEC_DISABLE, 0, 0);

 Force disable indirect branch speculation with
 - prctl(PR_SET_SPECULATION_CTRL, PR_SPEC_INDIRECT_BRANCH, PR_SPEC_FORCE_DISABLE, 0, 0);

78d7a796f8 FROMGIT: fscrypt: add Adiantum support
Add support for the Adiantum encryption mode to fscrypt. Adiantum is a
tweakable, length-preserving encryption mode with security provably
reducible to that of XChaCha12 and AES-256, subject to a security bound.
It's also a true wide-block mode, unlike XTS. See the paper
"Adiantum: length-preserving encryption for entry-level processors"
(https://eprint.iacr.org/2018/720.pdf) for more details. Also see
commit 059c2a4d8e ("crypto: adiantum - add Adiantum support").

On sufficiently long messages, Adiantum's bottlenecks are XChaCha12 and
the NH hash function. These algorithms are fast even on processors
without dedicated crypto instructions. Adiantum makes it feasible to
enable storage encryption on low-end mobile devices that lack AES
instructions; currently such devices are unencrypted. On ARM Cortex-A7,
on 4096-byte messages Adiantum encryption is about 4 times faster than
AES-256-XTS encryption; decryption is about 5 times faster.

In fscrypt, Adiantum is suitable for encrypting both file contents and
names. With filenames, it fixes a known weakness: when two filenames in
a directory share a common prefix of >= 16 bytes, with CTS-CBC their
encrypted filenames share a common prefix too, leaking information.
Adiantum does not have this problem.

Since Adiantum also accepts long tweaks (IVs), it's also safe to use the
master key directly for Adiantum encryption rather than deriving
per-file keys, provided that the per-file nonce is included in the IVs
and the master key isn't used for any other encryption mode. This
configuration saves memory and improves performance. A new fscrypt
policy flag is added to allow users to opt-in to this configuration.

Bug: 112008522

Test: For regression testing, built the kernel for x86_64 KVM and ran
      the encryption xfstests using kvm-xfstests:

  kvm-xfstests -c ext4,f2fs -g encrypt

    Tests for the Adiantum mode and "direct key" specifically aren't yet
    included in xfstests, but I also tried it manually with the
    following (run in the kvm-xfstests test appliance):

        cd /
        umount /vdc &> /dev/null
        mkfs.f2fs -O encrypt -f /dev/vdc
        mount /vdc
        cd /vdc
        rm -rf edir
        mkdir edir
        . ~/xfstests/common/encrypt
        KEYCTL_PROG=keyctl
        FSTYP=fscrypt
        _new_session_keyring
        k=$(_generate_encryption_key)
        xfs_io -c "set_encpolicy -c 9 -n 9 -f 0x4 $k" edir/
        cp -a /usr edir/
        diff -r /usr edir/usr/

    dmesg should show that Adiantum is being used:

        fscrypt: Adiantum using implementation "adiantum(xchacha12-generic,aes-aesni,nhpoly1305-generic)"

This allows the context manager to retrieve information about nodes

This information can then be passed on to the process holding the

USB accessory mode allows users to connect USB host hardware
specifically designed for Android-powered devices. The accessories
must adhere to the Android accessory protocol outlined in the
http://accessories.android.com documentation. This allows
Android devices that cannot act as a USB host to still interact with
USB hardware. When an Android device is in USB accessory mode, the
attached Android USB accessory acts as the host, provides power
to the USB bus, and enumerates connected devices.

533e4ed309 ANDROID: mm: add a field to store names for private anonymous memory
Userspace processes often have multiple allocators that each do
anonymous mmaps to get memory. When examining memory usage of
individual processes or systems as a whole, it is useful to be
able to break down the various heaps that were allocated by
each layer and examine their size, RSS, and physical memory
usage.

This patch adds a user pointer to the shared union in
vm_area_struct that points to a null terminated string inside
the user process containing a name for the vma. vmas that
point to the same address will be merged, but vmas that
point to equivalent strings at different addresses will
not be merged.

Userspace can set the name for a region of memory by calling
prctl(PR_SET_VMA, PR_SET_VMA_ANON_NAME, start, len, (unsigned long)name);
Setting the name to NULL clears it.

The names of named anonymous vmas are shown in /proc/pid/maps
as [anon:<name>] and in /proc/pid/smaps in a new "Name" field
that is only present for named vmas. If the userspace pointer
is no longer valid all or part of the name will be replaced
with "<fault>".

The idea to store a userspace pointer to reduce the complexity
within mm (at the expense of the complexity of reading
/proc/pid/mem) came from Dave Hansen. This results in no
runtime overhead in the mm subsystem other than comparing
the anon_name pointers when considering vma merging. The pointer
is stored in a union with fieds that are only used on file-backed
mappings, so it does not increase memory usage.

Includes fix from Jed Davis <jld@mozilla.com> for typo in
prctl_set_vma_anon_name, which could attempt to set the name
across two vmas at the same time due to a typo, which might
corrupt the vma list. Fix it to use tmp instead of end to limit
the name setting to a single vma at a time.

f61d769615 media: v4l: increase the data length of v4l2_event
The rockchip IQ tool sends data via usb uvc. The data buf
of v4l2_event is used for IQ tool userspace on uvc device
side to receive vendor specific data from host, the max
length of data maybe 4096 bytes, so increase the data length
of v4l2_event to 4100.

I have already tested the usb host uvc function, it works
well with this patch.

Note:
The userspace need to update the data length of v4l2_event
to 4100 synchronously.

[ Upstream commit 5a8de47b3c ]

With 4.19, programs like ebtables fail to build when they include
"linux/netfilter_bridge.h". It is caused by commit 94276fa8a2 which
added a use of INT_MIN and INT_MAX to the header:
: In file included from /usr/include/linux/netfilter_bridge/ebtables.h:18,
:                  from include/ebtables_u.h:28,
:                  from communication.c:23:
: /usr/include/linux/netfilter_bridge.h:30:20: error: 'INT_MIN' undeclared here (not in a function)
:   NF_BR_PRI_FIRST = INT_MIN,
:                     ^~~~~~~

Define these constants by including "limits.h" when !__KERNEL__ (the
same way as for other netfilter_* headers).

377e6b874e BACKPORT: USB: Add support for usbfs zerocopy.
Add a new interface for userspace to preallocate memory that can be
used with usbfs. This gives two primary benefits:

 - Zerocopy; data no longer needs to be copied between the userspace
   and the kernel, but can instead be read directly by the driver from
   userspace's buffers. This works for all kinds of transfers (even if
   nonsensical for control and interrupt transfers); isochronous also
   no longer need to memset() the buffer to zero to avoid leaking kernel data.

 - Once the buffers are allocated, USB transfers can no longer fail due to
   memory fragmentation; previously, long-running programs could run into
   problems finding a large enough contiguous memory chunk, especially on
   embedded systems or at high rates.

Memory is allocated by using mmap() against the usbfs file descriptor,
and similarly deallocated by munmap(). Once memory has been allocated,
using it as pointers to a bulk or isochronous operation means you will
automatically get zerocopy behavior. Note that this also means you cannot
modify outgoing data until the transfer is complete. The same holds for
data on the same cache lines as incoming data; DMA modifying them at the
same time could lead to your changes being overwritten.

There's a new capability USBDEVFS_CAP_MMAP that userspace can query to see
if the running kernel supports this functionality, if just trying mmap() is
not acceptable.

Largely based on a patch by Markus Rechberger with some updates. The original
patch can be found at:

bfd253e111 BACKPORT: drm: Add an encoder and connector type enum for DPI.
Right now exynos is exposing DPI as a TMDS encoder and VGA connector,
which seems rather misleading. This isn't just an internal detail,
since xrandr actually exposes "VGA" as the output name. Define some
new enums so that vc4's DPI can have a more informative name.

I considered other names for the connector as well. For VC4, the
Adafruit DPI kippah takes the 28 GPIO pins and routes them to a
standard-ish 40-pin FPC connector, but "40-pin FPC" doesn't uniquely
identify an ordering of pins (apparently some other orderings exist),
doesn't explain things as well for the user (who, if anything, knows
their product is a DPI kippah/panel combo), and actually doesn't have
to exist (one could connect the 28 GPIOs directly to something else).
Simply "DPI" seems like a good compromise name to distinguish from the
HDMI, DSI, and TV connectors .

5811532fe8 sctp: fix strchange_flags name for Stream Change Event
[ Upstream commit fd82d61ba1 ]

As defined in rfc6525#section-6.1.3, SCTP_STREAM_CHANGE_DENIED
and SCTP_STREAM_CHANGE_FAILED should be used instead of
SCTP_ASSOC_CHANGE_DENIED and SCTP_ASSOC_CHANGE_FAILED.

To keep the compatibility, fix it by adding two macros.

cc8d2e5309 sctp: define SCTP_SS_DEFAULT for Stream schedulers
[ Upstream commit 12480e3b16 ]

According to rfc8260#section-4.3.2, SCTP_SS_DEFAULT is required to
defined as SCTP_SS_FCFS or SCTP_SS_RR.

SCTP_SS_FCFS is used for SCTP_SS_DEFAULT's value in this patch.
