c4dde411bc selftests: net: use ip commands instead of teamd in team rx_mode test
Replace teamd daemon usage with ip link commands for team device
setup. teamd -d daemonizes and returns to the shell before port
addition completes, creating a race: the test may create the macvlan
(and check for its address on a slave) before teamd has finished
adding ports. This makes the test inherently dependent on scheduling
timing.

Using ip commands makes port addition synchronous, removing the race
and making the test deterministic.

10407eebe8 selftests: net: Add test for enablement of ports with teamd
There are no tests that verify enablement and disablement of team driver
ports with teamd. This should work even with changes to the enablement
option, so it is important to test.

This test sets up an active-backup network configuration across two
network namespaces, and tries to send traffic while changing which
link is the active one.

Also increase the team test timeout to 300 seconds, because gracefully
killing teamd can take 30 seconds for each instance.

05e352444b selftests: net: Add tests for failover of team-aggregated ports
There are currently no kernel tests that verify the effect of setting
the enabled team driver option. In a followup patch, there will be
changes to this option, so it will be important to make sure it still
behaves as it does now.

The test verifies that tcp continues to work across two different team
devices in separate network namespaces, even when member links are
manually disabled.

56063823b9 selftests: team: add non-Ethernet header_ops reproducer
Add a team selftest that sets up:
  g0 (gre) -> b0 (bond) -> t0 (team)

and triggers IPv6 traffic on t0. This reproduces the non-Ethernet
header_ops confusion scenario and protects against regressions in stacked
team/bond/gre configurations.

Using this script, the panic reported by syzkaller can be reproduced [1].

After the fix:

  # ./non_ether_header_ops.sh
PASS: non-Ethernet header_ops stacking did not crash

58f8ef625e selftests: team: Add a reference count leak test
Add a test for the issue that was fixed in "team: avoid NETDEV_CHANGEMTU
event when unregistering slave".

The test hangs due to a reference count leak without the fix:

 # make -C tools/testing/selftests TARGETS="drivers/net/team" TEST_PROGS=refleak.sh TEST_GEN_PROGS="" run_tests
 [...]
 TAP version 13
 1..1
 # timeout set to 45
 # selftests: drivers/net/team: refleak.sh

 [ 71.185325][ T496] unregister_netdevice: waiting for dummy1 to become free. Usage count = 3

And passes with the fix:

 # make -C tools/testing/selftests TARGETS="drivers/net/team" TEST_PROGS=refleak.sh TEST_GEN_PROGS="" run_tests
 [...]
 TAP version 13
 1..1
 # timeout set to 45

f07f91a360 selftests: net: unify the Makefile formats
We get a significant number of conflicts between net and net-next
because of selftests Makefile changes. People tend to append new
test cases at the end of the Makefile when there's no clear sort
order. Sort all networking selftests Makefiles, use the following
format:

 VAR_NAME := \
	 entry1 \
	 entry2 \
	 entry3 \
 # end of VAR_NAME

Some Makefiles are already pretty close to this.

db1b600666 selftests: net: Add tests to verify team driver option set and get.
There are currently no kernel tests that verify setting and getting
options of the team driver.

In the future, options may be added that implicitly change other
options, which will make it useful to have tests like these that show
nothing breaks. There will be a follow up patch to this that adds new
"rx_enabled" and "tx_enabled" options, which will implicitly affect the
"enabled" option value and vice versa.

The tests use teamnl to first set options to specific values and then
gets them to compare to the set values.

f792709e0b selftests: net: validate team flags propagation
Cover three recent cases:
1. missing ops locking for the lowers during netdev_sync_lower_features
2. missing locking for dev_set_promiscuity (plus netdev_ops_assert_locked
   with a comment on why/when it's needed)
3. rcu lock during team_change_rx_flags

Verified that each one triggers when the respective fix is reverted.
Not sure about the placement, but since it all relies on teaming,
added to the teaming directory.

One ugly bit is that I add NETIF_F_LRO to netdevsim; there is no way
to trigger netdev_sync_lower_features without it.

7b6fb3050d selftests: team: Add missing config options
Similar to commit dd2d40acdb ("selftests: bonding: Add more missing
config options"), add more networking-specific config options which are
needed for team device tests.

For testing, I used the minimal config generated by virtme-ng and I added
the options in the config file. Afterwards, the team device test passed.

521ed1ce94 selftests: forwarding: Remove duplicated lib.sh content
commit 25ae948b44 ("selftests/net: add lib.sh") added net/lib.sh to
contain code shared by tests under net/ and net/forwarding/. However, this
caused issues with selftests from directories other than net/forwarding/,
in particular those under drivers/net/. Those issues were avoided in a
simple way by duplicating some content in commit 2114e83381 ("selftests:
forwarding: Avoid failures to source net/lib.sh").

In order to remove the duplicated content, restore the inclusion of
net/lib.sh from net/forwarding/lib.sh but with the following changes:

* net/lib.sh is imported through the net_forwarding_dir path
The original expression "source ../lib.sh" would look for lib.sh in the
directory above the script file's one, which did not work for tests under
drivers/net/.

* net/lib.sh is added to TEST_INCLUDES
Since net/forwarding/lib.sh now sources net/lib.sh, both of those files
must be exported along with tests which source net/forwarding/lib.sh.

When exporting and running a subset of selftests via kselftest, files from
parts of the source tree which were not exported are not available. A few
