The probe function puts the device into the runtime PM active state with
only the "iis" bus clock enabled, but it also sets priv->op_clk to the
parent of the RCLK_SRC mux without enabling it. The runtime PM suspend
callback disables both clocks, so the first runtime suspend after probe
disables op_clk once more than it was enabled.
On Exynos5250 Arndale both clocks resolve to the same EXYNOS_I2S_BUS gate,
so this triggers the following warning during boot:
WARNING: drivers/clk/clk.c:1270 at clk_core_disable+0xe4/0x23c, CPU#0: kworker/u8:3/45

Here is the big set of char, misc, iio, counter, fpga, and other small
driver subsystems for 7.3-rc1.
Overall, due to some driver removals we only added a bit more code than
removed, which was a nice change. Highlights in this merge request are:
- Loads of IIO driver updates and additions
- binder driver updates (more on that below...)
- Removal of the SGI XP and GRU drivers as they are not used anymore
and turn out to be pretty insecure overall
- Removal of the obsolete ibmasm driver as it's not being used anymore
- Coresight driver updates and additions
- Mei driver udpates
- Counter driver updates
- FPGA driver updates
- ICC driver updates
- lots and lots of other tiny driver updates to resolve reported
issues
All of these have been in linux-next for a while, with the only reported
issues being some major merge conflicts. Miguel pointed out some of
these with the Rust tree merge, which is the majority of them. I'll
follow up with a diffstat of the merge resolution I made against your
most recent tree, which works for me.

Commit 9167f26047 ("ASoC: soc-generic-dmaengine: Handle DMA channel
request failures correctly") started reporting DMA channel request
failures during probe instead of silently ignoring them. This exposed a
bug in the Samsung I2S driver: it always registered a second DAI and its
associated "tx-sec" DMA channel, even for hardware variants that don't
actually support it, such as i2sv7 used on Exynos5433. As a result,
sound card probing on Exynos5433-based boards started failing, whereas
previously it worked only because the channel request failure was
ignored.
Drop the QUIRK_SEC_DAI flag from i2sv7, since this variant does not have
a secondary DAI and register "Secondary Playback" DAPM route only for
variants with such interface.

Use namespaced exports for IIO consumer API functions.
This will make it easier to manage the IIO export surface. Consumer drivers
will only be provided access to a specific set of functions, thereby
restricting usage of internal IIO functions by other parts of the kernel.
This change cannot be split into several parts without breaking
bisectability, thus all of the affected drivers are modified at once.

Switch the iis clock error path to dev_err_probe(). This folds the
dev_err() and return into a single statement and, when devm_clk_get()
returns -EPROBE_DEFER, avoids logging a spurious error on every probe
retry while still recording the reason in the deferred-probe debugfs.
No functional change other than the demoted log level on deferred
probe; the returned error code is unchanged.

The current code overwrites the original error with -ENOENT, preventing
deferred probing from working correctly.

In aries_audio_probe(), aries_dai[0].platforms->of_node is assigned the
same pointer as aries_dai[0].cpus->of_node (from of_parse_phandle)
without calling of_node_get(). When the sound card is deregistered, the
ASoC framework calls of_node_put() on both cpus->of_node and
platforms->of_node, causing a double put on the same node and a refcount
underflow.
Add of_node_get(aries_dai[0].cpus->of_node) before the assignment.

When a driver is probed through __driver_attach(), the bus' match()
callback is called without the device lock held, thus accessing the
driver_override field without a lock, which can cause a UAF.
Fix this by using the driver-core driver_override infrastructure taking
care of proper locking internally.
Note that calling match() from __driver_attach() without the device lock
held is intentional. [1]

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using
git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'
to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.
Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.
For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:
Single allocations: kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)
Array allocations: kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)
Flex array allocations: kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)
(where TYPE may also be *VAR)
The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".
