Export michael_mic() so that the ath11k and ath12k drivers can call it.
In addition, move it from mac80211 to cfg80211 so that the ipw2x00
drivers, which depend on cfg80211 but not mac80211, can also call it.
Currently these drivers have their own local implementations of
michael_mic() based on crypto_shash, which is redundant and inefficient.
By consolidating all the Michael MIC code into cfg80211, we'll be able
to remove the duplicate Michael MIC code in the crypto/ directory.

Now that AES-CMAC has a library API, convert the mac80211 AES-CMAC
packet authentication code to use it instead of a "cmac(aes)"
crypto_shash. This has multiple benefits, such as:
- It's faster. The AES-CMAC code is now called directly, without
unnecessary overhead such as indirect calls.
- MAC calculation can no longer fail.
- The AES-CMAC key struct is now a fixed size, allowing it to be
embedded directly into 'struct ieee80211_key' rather than using a
separate allocation. Note that although this increases the size of
the 'u.cmac' field of 'struct ieee80211_key', it doesn't cause it to
exceed the size of the largest variant of the union 'u'. Therefore,
the size of 'struct ieee80211_key' itself is unchanged.

Per IEEE Std 802.11be-2024, 12.5.2.3.3, if the MPDU is an
individually addressed Data frame between an AP MLD and a
non-AP MLD associated with the AP MLD, then A1/A2/A3
will be MLD MAC addresses. Otherwise, Al/A2/A3 will be
over-the-air link MAC addresses.
Currently, during AAD and Nonce computation for software based
encryption/decryption cases, mac80211 directly uses the addresses it
receives in the skb frame header. However, after the first
authentication, management frame addresses for non-AP MLD stations
are translated to MLD addresses from over the air link addresses in
software. This means that the skb header could contain translated MLD
addresses, which when used as is, can lead to incorrect AAD/Nonce
computation.
In the following manner, ensure that the right set of addresses are used:
In the receive path, stash the pre-translated link addresses in
ieee80211_rx_data and use them for the AAD/Nonce computations
when required.
In the transmit path, offload the encryption for a CCMP/GCMP key
to the hwsim driver that can then ensure that encryption and hence
the AAD/Nonce computations are performed on the frame containing the
right set of addresses, i.e, MLD addresses if unicast data frame and
link addresses otherwise.
To do so, register the set key handler in hwsim driver so mac80211 is
aware that it is the driver that would take care of encrypting the
frame. Offload encryption for a CCMP/GCMP key, while keeping the
encryption for WEP/TKIP and MMIE generation for a AES_CMAC or a
AES_GMAC key still at the SW crypto in mac layer

Currently, mac80211 does not encrypt or decrypt (Re)Association frames
(Request and Response) because temporal keys are not yet available at
that stage.
With extensions from IEEE P802.11bi, e.g. EPPKE, temporal keys can be
established before association. This enables the encryption and
decryption of (Re)Association Request/Response frames.
Add support to unset the IEEE80211_TX_INTFL_DONT_ENCRYPT flag when
the peer is marked as an Enhanced Privacy Protection (EPP) peer and
encryption keys are available for the connection in non-AP STA mode,
allowing secure transmission of (Re)Association Request frames.
Drop unprotected (Re)Association Request/Response frames received from
an EPP peer.

Merge CMAC-128 and CMAC-256 handlers since they are almost the same.
This removes duplication.
The comment 'MIC = AES-128-CMAC(IGTK, AAD ...' is out-dated since CMAC
is also used with BIGTK, as is the comment for CMAC-256. Simply remove
the comments.

The GCM algorithm implementation in the kernel assumes that
a 12-byte IV is passed, not the actual J_0 from the GCM spec.
Don't rename, that'd be messy, but also don't fill the bytes
beyond the IV that aren't used, since otherwise it looks as
though j_0[12] is used uninitialized.

If software crypto is used, simply add support for SPP A-MSDUs
(and use it whenever enabled as required by the cfg80211 API).
If hardware crypto is used, leave it up to the driver to set
the NL80211_EXT_FEATURE_SPP_AMSDU_SUPPORT flag and then check
sta->spp_amsdu or the IEEE80211_KEY_FLAG_SPP_AMSDU key flag.

It can be really hard to analyse or debug why packets are
going missing in mac80211, so add the needed infrastructure
to use use the new per-subsystem drop reasons.
We actually use two drop reason subsystems here because of
the different handling of frames that are dropped but still
go to monitor for old versions of hostapd, and those that
are just completely unusable (e.g. crypto failed.)
Annotate a few reasons here just to illustrate this, we'll
need to go through and annotate more of them later.

We sometimes copy all the addresses from the 802.11 header
for the AAD, which may cause complaints from fortify checks.

Ping-Ke's previous patch adjusted the CCMP AAD construction
to properly take the order bit into account, but failed to
update the (identical) GCMP AAD construction as well.
Unify the AAD construction between the two cases.

Follow IEEE 802.11-21 that HTC subfield masked to 0 for all data frames
containing a QoS Control field. It also defines the AAD length depends on
QC and A4 fields, so change logic to determine length accordingly.

When PN checking is done in mac80211, for fragmentation we need
to copy the PN to the RX struct so we can later use it to do a
comparison, since commit bf30ca922a ("mac80211: check defrag
PN against current frame").
Unfortunately, in that commit I used the 'hdr' variable without
it being necessarily valid, so use-after-free could occur if it
was necessary to reallocate (parts of) the frame.
Fix this by reloading the variable after the code that results
in the reallocations, if any.

As pointed out by Mathy Vanhoef, we implement the RX PN check
on fragmented frames incorrectly - we check against the last
received PN prior to the new frame, rather than to the one in
this frame itself.
Prior patches addressed the security issue here, but in order
to be able to reason better about the code, fix it to really
compare against the current frame's PN, not the last stored
one.

Add IEEE80211_KEY_FLAG_GENERATE_MMIE flag to ieee80211_key_flags in order
to allow the driver to notify mac80211 to generate MMIE and that it
requires sequence number generation only.

Here is what I am guessing is going to be the last "big" SPDX update for
5.2. It contains all of the remaining GPLv2 and GPLv2+ updates that
were "easy" to determine by pattern matching. The ones after this are
going to be a bit more difficult and the people on the spdx list will be
discussing them on a case-by-case basis now.
Another 5000+ files are fixed up, so our overall totals are:
Files checked: 64545
Files with SPDX: 45529
Compared to the 5.1 kernel which was:
Files checked: 63848
Files with SPDX: 22576
This is a huge improvement.
Also, we deleted another 20000 lines of boilerplate license crud, always

The WEP code in the mac80211 subsystem currently uses the crypto
API to access the arc4 (RC4) cipher, which is overly complicated,
and doesn't really have an upside in this particular case, since
ciphers are always synchronous and therefore always implemented in
software. Given that we have no accelerated software implementations
either, it is much more straightforward to invoke a generic library
interface directly.

ieee80211_aes_gmac() uses the mic argument directly in sg_set_buf() and
that does not allow use of stack memory (e.g., BUG_ON() is hit in
sg_set_buf() with CONFIG_DEBUG_SG). BIP GMAC TX side is fine for this
since it can use the skb data buffer, but the RX side was using a stack
variable for deriving the local MIC value to compare against the
received one.
Fix this by allocating heap memory for the mic buffer.
This was found with hwsim test case ap_cipher_bip_gmac_128 hitting that
BUG_ON() and kernel panic.

Currently, the aes_ccm.c and aes_gcm.c are almost line by line copy of
each other. This patch reduce code redundancy by moving the code in these
two files to crypto/aead_api.c to make it a higher level aead api. The
file aes_ccm.c and aes_gcm.c are removed and all the functions there are
now implemented in their headers using the newly added aead api.

It seems like a historic accident that these return unsigned char *,
and in many places that means casts are required, more often than not.
Make these functions (skb_put, __skb_put and pskb_put) return void *
and remove all the casts across the tree, adding a (u8 *) cast only
where the unsigned char pointer was used directly, all done with the
following spatch:

Currently mac80211 determines whether HW does fragmentation
by checking whether the set_frag_threshold callback is set
or not.
However, some drivers may want to set the HW fragmentation
capability depending on HW generation.
Allow this by checking a HW flag instead of checking the
callback.

Some crypto implementations (such as the generic CCM wrapper in crypto/)
use scatterlists to map fields of private data in their struct aead_req.
This means these data structures cannot live in the vmalloc area, which
means that they cannot live on the stack (with CONFIG_VMAP_STACK.)
This currently occurs only with the generic software implementation, but
the private data and usage is implementation specific, so move the whole
data structures off the stack into heap by allocating every time we need
to use them.
In addition, take care not to put any of our own stack allocations into
scatterlists. This involves reserving some extra room when allocating the
aead_request structures, and referring to those allocations in the scatter-
lists (while copying the data from the stack before the crypto operation)

Some hardware (iwlwifi an example) de-aggregate AMSDUs and copy the IV
as is to the generated MPDUs, so the same PN appears in multiple
packets without being a replay attack. Allow driver to explicitly
indicate that a frame is allowed to have the same PN as the previous
frame.

When HW crypto is used, there's no need for the CCMP/GCMP MIC to
be available to mac80211, and the hardware might have removed it
already after checking. The MIC is also useless to have when the
frame is already decrypted, so allow indicating that it's not
present.
Since we are running out of bits in mac80211_rx_flags, make
the flags field a u64.

Some drivers/devices might want to set the IVs by
themselves (and still let mac80211 generate MMIC).
Specifically, this is needed when the device does
offloading at certain times, and the driver has
to make sure that the IVs of new tx frames (from
the host) are synchronized with IVs that were
potentially used during the offloading.
Similarly to CCMP, move the TX IVs of TKIP keys to the
public part of the key struct, and export a function
to add the IV right into the crypto header.
The public tx_pn field is defined as atomic64, so define
TKIP_PN_TO_IV16/32 helper macros to convert it to iv16/32
when needed.
Since the iv32 used for the p1k cache is taken
directly from the frame, we can safely remove
iv16/32 from being protected by tkip.txlock.

When there are multiple RX queues, the PN checks in mac80211 cannot be
used since packets might be processed out of order on different CPUs.
Allow the driver to report that the PN has been checked, drivers that
will use multi-queue RX will have to set this flag.
For now, the flag is only valid when the frame has been decrypted, in
theory that restriction doesn't have to be there, but in practice the
hardware will have decrypted the frame already.

For drivers supporting TSO or similar features, but that still have
PN assignment in software, there's a need to have some memory to
store the current PN value. As mac80211 already stores this and it's
somewhat complicated to add a per-driver area to the key struct (due
to the dynamic sizing thereof) it makes sense to just move the TX PN
to the keyconf, i.e. the public part of the key struct.
As TKIP is more complicated and we won't able to offload it in this
way right now (fast-xmit is skipped for TKIP unless the HW does it
all, and our hardware needs MMIC calculation in software) I've not
moved that for now - it's possible but requires exposing a lot of
the internal TKIP state.
As an bonus side effect, we can remove a lot of code by assuming the
keyseq struct has a certain layout - with BUILD_BUG_ON to verify it.
This might also improve performance, since now TX and RX no longer
share a cacheline.

When a key is installed using a cipher scheme, set a new
internal key flag (KEY_FLAG_CIPHER_SCHEME) on it, to allow
distinguishing such keys more easily.
In particular, use this flag on the TX path instead of
testing the sta->cipher_scheme pointer, as the station is
NULL for broad-/multicast message, and use the key's iv_len
instead of the cipher scheme information.

When an IV is generated, only the MAC header is moved back. The network
header location remains the same relative to the skb head, as the new IV
is using headroom space that was reserved in advance.
