79b3cebc70 f2fs: add lock elapsed time trace facility for f2fs rwsemphore
This patch adds lock elapsed time trace facility for f2fs rwsemphore.

If total elapsed time of critical region covered by lock exceeds a
threshold, it will print tracepoint to dump information of lock related
context, including:
- thread information
- CPU/IO priority
- lock information
- elapsed time
 - total time
 - running time (depend on CONFIG_64BIT)
 - runnable time (depend on CONFIG_SCHED_INFO and CONFIG_SCHEDSTATS)
 - io sleep time (depend on CONFIG_TASK_DELAY_ACCT and
		  /proc/sys/kernel/task_delayacct)
 - other time (by default other time will account nonio sleep time,
                  but, if above kconfig is not defined, other time will
                  include runnable time and/or io sleep time as wll)

output:

8d1cb17aca f2fs: optimize trace_f2fs_write_checkpoint with enums
This patch optimizes the tracepoint by replacing these hardcoded strings
with a new enumeration f2fs_cp_phase.

1.Defines enum f2fs_cp_phase with values for each checkpoint phase.
2.Updates trace_f2fs_write_checkpoint to accept a u16 phase argument
instead of a string pointer.
3.Uses __print_symbolic in TP_printk to convert the enum values
back to their corresponding strings for human-readable trace output.

This change reduces the storage overhead for each trace event
by replacing a variable-length string with a 2-byte integer,
while maintaining the same readable output in ftrace.

aaf8c0b9ae f2fs: reduce expensive checkpoint trigger frequency
We may trigger high frequent checkpoint for below case:
1. mkdir /mnt/dir1; set dir1 encrypted
2. touch /mnt/file1; fsync /mnt/file1
3. mkdir /mnt/dir2; set dir2 encrypted
4. touch /mnt/file2; fsync /mnt/file2
...

Although, newly created dir and file are not related, due to
commit bbf156f7af ("f2fs: fix lost xattrs of directories"), we will
trigger checkpoint whenever fsync() comes after a new encrypted dir
created.

In order to avoid such performance regression issue, let's record an
entry including directory's ino in global cache whenever we update
directory's xattr data, and then triggerring checkpoint() only if
xattr metadata of target file's parent was updated.

This patch updates to cover below no encryption case as well:
1) parent is checkpointed
2) set_xattr(dir) w/ new xnid
3) create(file)
4) fsync(file)

2c92ca849f tracing/treewide: Remove second parameter of __assign_str()
With the rework of how the __string() handles dynamic strings where it
saves off the source string in field in the helper structure[1], the
assignment of that value to the trace event field is stored in the helper
value and does not need to be passed in again.

This means that with:

  __string(field, mystring)

Which use to be assigned with __assign_str(field, mystring), no longer
needs the second parameter and it is unused. With this, __assign_str()
will now only get a single parameter.

There's over 700 users of __assign_str() and because coccinelle does not
handle the TRACE_EVENT() macro I ended up using the following sed script:

  git grep -l __assign_str | while read a ; do
      sed -e 's/\(__assign_str([^,]*[^ ,]\) *,[^;]*/\1)/' $a > /tmp/test-file;
      mv /tmp/test-file $a;
  done

I then searched for __assign_str() that did not end with ';' as those
were multi line assignments that the sed script above would fail to catch.

Note, the same updates will need to be done for:

  __assign_str_len()
  __assign_rel_str()
  __assign_rel_str_len()

I tested this with both an allmodconfig and an allyesconfig (build only for both).

71644dff48 f2fs: add block_age-based extent cache
This patch introduces a runtime hot/cold data separation method
for f2fs, in order to improve the accuracy for data temperature
classification, reduce the garbage collection overhead after
long-term data updates.

Enhanced hot/cold data separation can record data block update
frequency as "age" of the extent per inode, and take use of the age
info to indicate better temperature type for data block allocation:
 - It records total data blocks allocated since mount;
 - When file extent has been updated, it calculate the count of data
blocks allocated since last update as the age of the extent;
 - Before the data block allocated, it searches for the age info and
chooses the suitable segment for allocation.

Test and result:
 - Prepare: create about 30000 files
  * 3% for cold files (with cold file extension like .apk, from 3M to 10M)
  * 50% for warm files (with random file extension like .FcDxq, from 1K
to 4M)
  * 47% for hot files (with hot file extension like .db, from 1K to 256K)
 - create(5%)/random update(90%)/delete(5%) the files
  * total write amount is about 70G
  * fsync will be called for .db files, and buffered write will be used
for other files

The storage of test device is large enough(128G) so that it will not
switch to SSR mode during the test.

Benefit: dirty segment count increment reduce about 14%
 - before: Dirty +21110
 - after:  Dirty +18286

3db1de0e58 f2fs: change the current atomic write way
Current atomic write has three major issues like below.
 - keeps the updates in non-reclaimable memory space and they are even
   hard to be migrated, which is not good for contiguous memory
   allocation.
 - disk spaces used for atomic files cannot be garbage collected, so
   this makes it difficult for the filesystem to be defragmented.
 - If atomic write operations hit the threshold of either memory usage
   or garbage collection failure count, All the atomic write operations
   will fail immediately.

To resolve the issues, I will keep a COW inode internally for all the
updates to be flushed from memory, when we need to flush them out in a
situation like high memory pressure. These COW inodes will be tagged
as orphan inodes to be reclaimed in case of sudden power-cut or system
failure during atomic writes.

a4b6817625 f2fs: introduce periodic iostat io latency traces
Whenever we notice some sluggish issues on our machines, we are always
curious about how well all types of I/O in the f2fs filesystem are
handled. But, it's hard to get this kind of real data. First of all,
we need to reproduce the issue while turning on the profiling tool like
blktrace, but the issue doesn't happen again easily. Second, with the
intervention of any tools, the overall timing of the issue will be
slightly changed and it sometimes makes us hard to figure it out.

So, I added the feature printing out IO latency statistics tracepoint
events, which are minimal things to understand filesystem's I/O related
behaviors, into F2FS_IOSTAT kernel config. With "iostat_enable" sysfs
node on, we can get this statistics info in a periodic way and it
would cause the least overhead.
