ef1d0bce38 pinctrl: meson: implement the gpio_chip get_direction callback
Implement the get_direction callback so we read the direction from the
actual GPIO controller register. This is recommended by the gpio_chip
kernel doc.

5ab0c8e901 pinctrl: meson: meson8b: add the GPIOH pinmux settings for ETH_RXD{2,3}
GPIOH_5 and GPIOH_6 can have two Ethernet related functions:
- GPIOH_5 can be ETH_TXD1 or ETH_RXD3
- GPIOH_6 can be ETH_TXD0 or ETH_RXD2

Add the bits for eth_rxd3_h and eth_rxd2_h so the ETH_RXD function can
be disabled when using the ETH_TXD function of GPIOH_{5,6}. No problem
was observed so far, but in theory this could lead to two different
signals being routed to the same pad (which could break Ethernet).

These settings were found in the public "Amlogic Ethernet controller
user guide":

35c60be220 pinctrl: meson: Fix wrong shift value when get drive-strength
In meson_pinconf_get_drive_strength, variable bit is calculated by
meson_calc_reg_and_bit, this value is the offset from the first pin of a
certain bank to current pin, while Meson SoCs use two bits for each pin
to depict drive-strength. So a left shift by 1 should be done or node
pinconf-pins shows wrong message.

dabad1ff85 pinctrl: meson: add pinctrl driver support for Meson-A1 SoC
Meson A1 SoC share the same register layout of pinmux with previous
Meson-G12A, however there is difference for gpio and pin config register
in A1. The main difference is that registers before A1 are grouped by
function while those of A1 are by bank. The new register layout is as
below:

/* first bank */              /* addr */
- P_PADCTRL_GPIOP_I base + 0x00 << 2
- P_PADCTRL_GPIOP_O base + 0x01 << 2
- P_PADCTRL_GPIOP_OEN base + 0x02 << 2
- P_PADCTRL_GPIOP_PULL_EN base + 0x03 << 2
- P_PADCTRL_GPIOP_PULL_UP base + 0x04 << 2
- P_PADCTRL_GPIOP_DS base + 0x05 << 2

/* second bank */
- P_PADCTRL_GPIOB_I base + 0x10 << 2
- P_PADCTRL_GPIOB_O base + 0x11 << 2
- P_PADCTRL_GPIOB_OEN base + 0x12 << 2
- P_PADCTRL_GPIOB_PULL_EN base + 0x13 << 2
- P_PADCTRL_GPIOB_PULL_UP base + 0x14 << 2
- P_PADCTRL_GPIOB_DS base + 0x15 << 2

Each bank contains at least 6 registers to be configured, if one bank
has more than 16 gpios, an extra P_PADCTRL_GPIO[X]_DS_EXT is included.
Between two adjacent P_PADCTRL_GPIO[X]_I, there is an offset 0x10, that
is to say, for third bank, the offsets will be 0x20,0x21,0x22,0x23,0x24
,0x25 according to above register layout. For previous chips, registers
are grouped according to their functions while registers of A1 are
according to bank. Also note that there is no AO bank any more in A1.

Current Meson pinctrl driver can cover such change by using base address
of GPIO as that of drive-strength. While simply giving reg_ds = reg_pullen
make wrong value to reg_ds for Socs that do not support drive-strength
like AXG.To make things simple, add an extra dt parser function for
a1 and remain the old dt parser function for only reg parsing.

43c95d3694 This is the bulk of pin control changes for the v5.3 kernel
cycle:

 Core changes:

 - Device links can optionally be added between a pin control
producer and its consumers. This will affect how the system
power management is handled: a pin controller will not suspend
before all of its consumers have been suspended. This was
necessary for the ST Microelectronics STMFX expander and
need to be tested on other systems as well: it makes sense
to make this default in the long run. Right now it is
   opt-in per driver.

Pull pin control updates from Linus Walleij:
"This is the bulk of pin control changes for the v5.3 kernel cycle:

  Core changes:

   - Device links can optionally be added between a pin control producer
and its consumers. This will affect how the system power management
is handled: a pin controller will not suspend before all of its
     consumers have been suspended.

This was necessary for the ST Microelectronics STMFX expander and
need to be tested on other systems as well: it makes sense to make
this default in the long run.

e66dd48e8b pinctrl: meson: fix G12A ao pull registers base address
Since Meson G12A SoC, Introduce new ao registers AO_RTI_PULL_UP_EN_REG
and AO_GPIO_O.

These bits of controlling output level are remapped to the new register
AO_GPIO_O, and the AO_GPIO_O_EN_N support only controlling output enable.

These bits of controlling pull enable are remapped to the new register
AO_RTI_PULL_UP_EN_REG, and the AO_RTI_PULL_UP_REG support only controlling
pull type(up/down).

The new layout of ao gpio/pull registers is as follows:
- AO_GPIO_O_EN_N [offset: 0x9 << 2]
- AO_GPIO_I [offset: 0xa << 2]
- AO_RTI_PULL_UP_REG [offset: 0xb << 2]
- AO_RTI_PULL_UP_EN_REG [offset: 0xc << 2]
- AO_GPIO_O [offset: 0xd << 2]

From above, we can see ao GPIO registers region has been separated by the
ao pull registers. In order to ensure the continuity of the region on
software, the ao GPIO and ao pull registers use the same base address, but
can be identified by the offset.

6daae00243 pinctrl: meson: meson8b: add the eth_rxd2 and eth_rxd3 pins
Gigabit Ethernet requires the Ethernet TXD0..3 and RXD0..3 data lines.
Add the missing eth_rxd2 and eth_rxd3 definitions so we don't have to
rely on the bootloader to set them up correctly.

The vendor u-boot sources for Odroid-C1 use the following Ethernet
pinmux configuration:
  SET_CBUS_REG_MASK(PERIPHS_PIN_MUX_6, 0x3f4f);
  SET_CBUS_REG_MASK(PERIPHS_PIN_MUX_7, 0xf00000);
This translates to the following pin groups in the mainline kernel:
- register 6 bit 0: eth_rxd1 (DIF_0_P)
- register 6 bit 1: eth_rxd0 (DIF_0_N)
- register 6 bit 2: eth_rx_dv (DIF_1_P)
- register 6 bit 3: eth_rx_clk (DIF_1_N)
- register 6 bit 6: eth_tx_en (DIF_3_P)
- register 6 bit 8: eth_ref_clk (DIF_3_N)
- register 6 bit 9: eth_mdc (DIF_4_P)
- register 6 bit 10: eth_mdio_en (DIF_4_N)
- register 6 bit 11: eth_tx_clk (GPIOH_9)
- register 6 bit 12: eth_txd2 (GPIOH_8)
- register 6 bit 13: eth_txd3 (GPIOH_7)
- register 7 bit 20: eth_txd0_0 (GPIOH_6)
- register 7 bit 21: eth_txd1_0 (GPIOH_5)
- register 7 bit 22: eth_rxd3 (DIF_2_P)
- register 7 bit 23: eth_rxd2 (DIF_2_N)

All functions except eth_rxd2 and eth_rxd3 are already supported by the
pinctrl-meson8b driver.

We just changed the code so we apply bias disable on the correct

29ae0952e8 pinctrl: meson-g12a: add pinctrl driver support
Add the pinctrl driver for Meson-G12A SoC which share the similar IP as
the previous Meson-AXG SoC, both use same pinmux ops (register layout).
A new driver is needed here due to the differences in the pins.

Starting from Meson-AXG SoC, the pinctrl controller block use 4
continues register bits to specific the pin mux function, while comparing
to old generation SoC which using variable length register bits for
the pin mux definition. The new design greatly simplify the software model.

For the detail example, one 32bit register can be divided into 8 parts,
each has 4 bits whose value start from 0 - 7, each can describe one pin,
the value 0 is always devoted to GPIO function, while 1 - 7 devoted to
the mux pin function.

Please note, the GPIOE is actually located at AO (always on) bank.

55af415b42 pinctrl: meson: meson8b: fix requesting GPIOs greater than GPIOZ_3
Meson8b is a cost reduced variant of the Meson8 SoC. It's package size
is smaller than Meson8.
Unfortunately there are a few key differences which cannot be seen
without close inspection of the code and the public S805 datasheet:
- the GPIOX bank is missing the GPIOX_12, GPIOX_13, GPIOX_14 and
  GPIOX_15 GPIOs
- the GPIOY bank is missing the GPIOY_2, GPIOY_4, GPIOY_5, GPIOY_15 and
  GPIOY_16 GPIOs
- the GPIODV bank is missing all GPIOs except GPIODV_9, GPIODV_24,
  GPIODV_25, GPIODV_26, GPIODV_27, GPIODV_28 and GPIODV_29
- the GPIOZ bank is missing completely
- there is a new GPIO bank called "DIF"

This means that Meson8b only has 83 actual GPIO lines. Without any holes
there would be 130 GPIO lines in total (120 are inherited from Meson8
plus 10 new from the DIF bank).

GPIOs greater GPIOZ_3 (whose ID is 83 - as a reminder: this is exactly
the number of actual GPIO lines on Meson8b and also the value of
meson8b_cbus_pinctrl_data.num_pins) cannot berequested. Using CARD_6
(which used ID 100 prior to this patch, "base of the GPIO controller was
382) as an example:
$ echo 482 > /sys/class/gpio/export
export_store: invalid GPIO 482

This removes all non-existing pins from to dt-bindings header file
(include/dt-bindings/gpio/meson8b-gpio.h). This allows us to have a
consecutive numbering for the GPIO #defines (GPIOY_2 doesn't exist for
example, so previously the GPIOY_3 ID was "GPIOY_1 + 2", after this
patch it is "GPIOY_1 + 1"). As a nice side-effect this means that we get
compile-time (instead of runtime) errors if Meson8b .dts uses a pin that
only exists on Meson8.

Additionally the pinctrl-meson8b driver has to be updated to handle this
new GPIO numbering. By default a struct meson_bank only handles GPIO
banks where the pins are numbered consecutively because it calculates
the bit offsets based on the GPIO IDs.
This is solved by taking the original BANK() definition and splitting it
into consecutive subsets (X0..11 and X16..21). The bit offsets for each
new bank includes the skipped GPIOs (the definition of the "X0..11" bank
is identical to the old "X" bank apart from the "last IRQ" field, the
definition of the new, split "X16..21" bank takes the original "X" bank
and adds 16 - the start of the new split bank - to the "first IRQ",
pullen bit, pull bit, dir bit, out bit and in bit).

Commit 984cffdeae ("pinctrl: Fix gpio/pin mapping for Meson8b")
fixed the same issue by setting "ngpio" (of the gpio_chip) to 130.
Unfortunately this broke in db80f0e158 ("pinctrl: meson: get rid of
unneeded domain structures").
The solution from this patch was considered to be better than the
previous attempt at fixing this because it provides compile-time error
checking for the GPIOs that exist on Meson8 but don't exist on Meson8b.

The following pins were tested on an Odroid-C1 using the sysfs GPIO
interface checking that their value (high or low) could be read:
- GPIOX_0, GPIOX_1, GPIOX_2, GPIOX_3, GPIOX_4, GPIOX_5, GPIOX_6,
  GPIOX_7, GPIOX_8, GPIOX_9, GPIOX_10, GPIOX_11, GPIOX_18, GPIOX_19,
  GPIOX_20, GPIOX_21
- GPIOY_3, GPIOY_7, GPIOY_8
(some of these had to be pulled up because they were low by default,
others were high by default so these had to be pulled down)

ce385aa24a pinctrl: meson: rework pinmux ops
This change prepare the introduction of new meson SoC. This new SoC will
share the same gpio/pinconf registers but the pinmux part will be
different. While the format of the data associated with each pinmux group
will change, the way to handle pinmuxing will be similar.

To deal with this new situation, the meson_pmx_struture is kept but the
data associated to it is now generic. This allows to reuse the basic
functions which would otherwise be copy/pasted in each pinmux driver
(such as getting the name a count of groups and functions) Only the
functions actually using this specific data is taken out of the common
code and is handling the SoC pinmuxing

277d14eb81 pinctrl: meson: separate soc drivers
When meson pinctrl is enabled, all meson platforms pinctrl drivers are
built in the kernel, with a significant amount of data.

This leads to situation where pinctrl drivers targeting an architecture
are also compiled and shipped on another one (ex: meson8 - ARM - compiled
and shipped on ARM64 builds). This is a waste of memory we can easily
avoid.

This change makes 4 pinctrl drivers (1 per SoC) out the original single
driver, allowing to compile and ship only the ones required.

Apart from that it is a boring round, just incremental updates and
fixes all over the place, no serious core changes or anything exciting
like that. The most pleasing to see is Julia Cartwrights work to audit
the irqchip-providing drivers for realtime locking compliance. It's
one of those "I should really get around to looking into that" things
that have been on my TODO list since forever.

  Summary:

  Core changes:

   - add bi-directional and output-enable pin configurations to the
generic bindings and generic pin controlling core.

  New drivers or subdrivers:

   - Armada 37xx SoC pin controller and GPIO support.

   - Axis ARTPEC-6 SoC pin controller support.

   - AllWinner A64 R_PIO controller support, and opening up the
AllWinner sunxi driver for ARM64 use.

   - Rockchip RK3328 support.

   - Renesas R-Car H3 ES2.0 support.

   - STM32F469 support in the STM32 driver.

   - Aspeed G4 and G5 pin controller support.

  Improvements:

   - a whole slew of realtime improvements to drivers implementing
irqchips: BCM, AMD, SiRF, sunxi, rockchip.

   - switch meson driver to get the GPIO ranges from the device tree.

   - input schmitt trigger support on the Rockchip driver.

   - enable the sunxi (AllWinner) driver to also be used on ARM64
     silicon.

   - name the Qualcomm QDF2xxx GPIO lines.

   - support GMMR GPIO regions on the Intel Cherryview. This fixes a
     serialization problem on these platforms.

   - pad retention support for the Samsung Exynos 5433.

   - handle suspend-to-ram in the AT91-pio4 driver.

   - pin configuration support in the Aspeed driver.

  Cleanups:

   - the final name of Rockchip RK1108 was RV1108 so rename the driver
     and variables to stay consistent"

4781c22c76 pinctrl: meson: meson8b: rename the NAND DQS pin definitions
The NAND DQS pins are currently named nand_dqs_0 and nand_dqs_1.
However, they both seem to have the same function, just exposed on
different pins (unlike the ethernet TX pins for example, where there's
eth_txd0..3 - all of these can be active at the same time as they are
different data lines).
Rename the NAND DQS pins to nand_dqs_15 and nand_dqs_18 to reflect that
it's the same functionality just exposed on different pins (BOOT_15 and
BOOT_18).

97ba26b8a9 pinctrl: meson: meson8b: fix the NAND DQS pins
The nand_groups table uses different names for the NAND DQS pins than
the GROUP() definition in meson8b_cbus_groups (nand_dqs_0 vs nand_dqs0).
This prevents using the NAND DQS pins in the devicetree.

Fix this by ensuring that the GROUP() definition and the
meson8b_cbus_groups use the same name for these pins.

c7fc5fbafa pinctrl: meson: use gpio-ranges from DT
When trying to add a gpio-hog, we enter a weird loop where the gpio-ranges
is needed when gpiochip_add_data() is called but in the current implementation
the ranges are added from the driver afterwards.

A simple solution is to rely on the DR gpio-ranges attribute and remove the
call to gpiochip_add_pin_range().

cff2b01025 pinctrl: meson: meson-gxl: add the pwm_ao_b pin
This adds support for the pwm_ao_b pin. Unfortunately the registers for
the pwm_ao pins are not documented at all. The source for the pwm_ao_b
pin from this patch is the Khadas VIM GPL kernel source, which sets bit
3 and unsets bits 4 and 31 to enable the PWM LEDs.

58957d2edf pinctrl: Widen the generic pinconf argument from 16 to 24 bits
The current pinconf packed format allows only 16-bit argument limiting
the maximum value 65535. For most types this is enough. However,
debounce time can be in range of hundreths of milliseconds in case of
mechanical switches so we cannot represent the worst case using the
current format.

In order to support larger values change the packed format so that the
lower 8 bits are used as type which leaves 24 bits for the argument.
This allows representing values up to 16777215 and debounce times up to
16 seconds.

We also convert the existing users to use 32-bit integer when extracting
argument from the packed configuration value.

b27e36482c pinctrl: meson: fix uart_ao_b for GXBB and GXL/GXM
The GXBB and GXL/GXM pinctrl drivers had a configuration which conflicts
with uart_ao_a. According to the GXBB ("S905") datasheet the AO UART
functions are:
- GPIOAO_0: Func1 = UART_TX_AO_A (bit 12), Func2 = UART_TX_AO_B (bit 26)
- GPIOAO_1: Func1 = UART_RX_AO_A (bit 11), Func2 = UART_RX_AO_B (bit 25)
- GPIOAO_4: Func2 = UART_TX_AO_B (bit 24)
- GPIOAO_5: Func2 = UART_RX_AO_B (bit 25)

The existing definition for uart_AO_A already uses GPIOAO_0 and GPIOAO_1.
The old definition of uart_AO_B however was broken, as it used GPIOAO_0
for TX (which would be fine) and two pins (GPIOAO_1 and GPIOAO_5) for RX
(which does not make any sense).

This fixes the uart_AO_B configuration by moving it to GPIOAO_4 and
GPIOAO_5 (it would be possible to use GPIOAO_0 and GPIOAO_1 in theory,
but all existing hardware uses uart_AO_A there).
The fix for GXBB and GXL/GXM is identical since it seems that these
specific pins are identical on both SoC variants.
