1781be3c8a phy: qcom: qmp-pcie: Add QMP PCIe Multi-PHY driver
Some QMP PCIe PHY hardware blocks support multiple link topologies (e.g.
x8 or x4+x4) selected via a TCSR register. The existing single-instance
QMP PCIe PHY driver has no way to model this: it assumes a single cfg per
DT node and instantiates exactly one PHY.

Add a dedicated driver for this class of PHY. Match data carries a
per-mode cfg table; qmp_pcie_multiphy_probe() reads the current link
mode from the TCSR register pointed to by "qcom,link-mode", looks up the
corresponding cfg array, and instantiates one qmp_pcie per sub-PHY
required by that link mode, registering the clock and #phy-cells = <1> phy
providers so consumers can address individual sub-PHYs by index.

The driver inherits the phy setting and link-mode programmed by firmware,
so only the no_csr reset is used and no phy setting tables are provided.

Add the first match data and compatible, qcom,glymur-qmp-gen5x8-pcie-phy,
for the Glymur Gen5 PCIe PHY that can bifurcate into two x4 links or
operate as a single x8 link.

There are no downstream device trees that specify five values in the

Plus, after cross referencing both downstream device trees and entries

Since 0x13 is written at initialization time, drop this function as a

fedcff16a9 phy: qcom: qmp-usb: Prevent unnecessary PM runtime suspend at boot
Runtime PM has to be enabled before creating the PHY, since phy_create()
only enables runtime PM on the PHY device if it is already enabled on
this parent device. This opens a small window where the device can be
runtime suspended after pm_runtime_enable() and before the later
pm_runtime_forbid(), causing an unnecessary suspend/resume cycle while
the PHY is not yet registered.

Take a runtime PM usage reference with pm_runtime_get_noresume() before
enabling runtime PM and release it once the PHY has been created to
prevent the device from being runtime suspended during that window.

This also makes the probe path safe independently of pm_runtime_forbid(),
which is a good preparation for potentially dropping the forbid() call in
the future and letting runtime PM be enabled by default.

142c559337 phy: qcom: qmp-usb: Fix possible NULL-deref on early runtime suspend
There is a small window where the runtime suspend callback may run
after pm_runtime_enable() and before pm_runtime_forbid(). In this
case, a crash occurs because runtime suspend/resume dereferences
qmp->phy pointer, which is not yet initialized:
        `if (!qmp->phy->init_count) {`

This can also happen if user re-enables runtime-pm via the sysfs
attribute before qmp phy is initialized.

Similarly to other qcom phy drivers, introduce a qmp->phy_initialized
variable that can be used to avoid relying on the possibly uninitialized
phy pointer.

c271a6926e phy: qcom: snps-femto-v2: Fix possible NULL-deref on early runtime suspend
Runtime PM must be enabled before creating the PHY, since phy_create()
only enables runtime PM on the PHY device if it is already enabled on
this parent device. However, the runtime PM callbacks dereference the
hsphy instance, which is not yet ready, leaving a window where a suspend
callback may trigger a NULL pointer dereference.

Take a runtime PM usage reference with pm_runtime_get_noresume() before
enabling runtime PM and release it once the PHY has been created, so that
no runtime suspend can run before the PHY is ready. This also prevents a
short window where an unnecessary runtime suspend can occur.

Use the devres-managed version to ensure PM runtime is symmetrically
disabled during driver removal for proper cleanup.

Some SoCs such as SAR2130P, SM7550, SM7635 and SM8475 use 4nm-v1 PLLs.
For SM8475, trying to use qmp_v6_dp_serdes_tbl structs (which are for
4nm-v1.1 PLLs) causes link training to fail because of ref clock
differences, which in turn makes these structs differ.

ee6aa0f01d phy: qcom: qmp-pcie: Add IPQ9650 PCIe PHY support
Add support for the IPQ9650 platform, which includes three Gen3 x2 PCIe
controllers and two Gen3 x1 PCIe controllers. The PHY instances require
the on-chip refgen supply.

Add the IPQ9650 Gen3 x1 and x2 QMP PCIe PHY configurations along with
the refgen regulator supply. Note that an on-chip LDO, driven by the SoC
CX, supplies the PHY voltages without requiring software control. Note
that IPQ9650 does not support CX power collapse or rail scaling.

910b828b22 phy: qcom: qmp-pcie: Skip PHY reset if already up
If the bootloader has already powered up the PCIe PHY, performing a
full reset and waiting for the PHY to come up again adds unnecessary
delay during boot.

Extend the existing skip_init handling by introducing a skip_reset
condition. When skip_init is active and the PHY status indicates that
the PHY is already operational, skip asserting and deasserting the
no-csr reset while still enabling the required resources during
power-on.

This allows reusing the bootloader-initialized PHY state and avoids
redundant PHY reinitialization and PCIe link retraining, which can
add hundred's of milliseconds of delay.

This relies on the assumption that when skip_init is enabled and the
PHY is reported as up, the bootloader has already configured the PHY
correctly and the link is in a usable state.

80305760d7 phy: qcom-qmp-ufs: Fix kaanapali PHY PLL lock failure after SM8650 G4 fix
Commit 81af9e40e2 ("phy: qcom: qmp-ufs: Fix SM8650 PCS table for Gear 4")
moved QPHY_V6_PCS_UFS_PLL_CNTL register configuration from the shared
sm8650_ufsphy_g5_pcs table to the SM8650-specific sm8650_ufsphy_pcs base
table to fix Gear 4 operation on SM8650.

However, this change inadvertently broke kaanapali and SM8750 SoCs
which also rely on the shared sm8650_ufsphy_g5_pcs table for Gear 5
configuration but use their own sm8750_ufsphy_pcs base table. After the
change, kaanapali PHYs are left without the required PLL_CNTL = 0x33
setting, causing the PHY PLL to remain at its hardware reset default
value, preventing PLL lock and resulting in DME_LINKSTARTUP timeouts.

Fix this by adding the missing QPHY_V6_PCS_UFS_PLL_CNTL = 0x33 entry
to the sm8750_ufsphy_pcs table, mirroring what the original commit
already did for sm8650_ufsphy_pcs.

Commit 81791c45c8 ("phy: qcom: qmp-usbc: Add QCS615 USB/DP PHY config

with qmp_v2 prefix, by assuming that QMP PHY registers are versioned
as a whole. However, the reality is that the registers are versioned
in sub-modules like QSERDES COM and QSERDES TXRX respectively, e.g.
QCS615 DP PHY has registers of QSERDES COM v2 and QSERDES TXRX v3.
Thus it may cause confusion that qmp_v2_xxx table and functions access
QSERDES TXRX v3 registers.

Rename QCS615 DP PHY variables and functions to be prefixed by qcs615
instead of qmp_v2. This better aligns with how the driver names USB3 PHY
variables for QCM2290 etc.

764f409b84 phy: qcom-qmp: Use explicit QSERDES COM v2 register definitions
As the code comments in the headers say, both qserdes-com and
qserdes-com-v2 define QSERDES COM registers for QMP V2 PHY. Switch
phy-qcom-qmp drivers to use register definitions in qserdes-com-v2
to make the QSERDES COM version explicit.

519a228ee4 phy: qcom: edp: Add PHY-specific LDO config for eDP low vdiff
For eDP low vdiff, the LDO setting depends on the PHY version rather
than being a simple 0x0 or 0x1 value. Introduce a PHY callback to program
the correct LDO setting according to the HPG.

Since SC7280/SC8180X uses different LDO settings from SA8775P/SC8280XP,
introduce qcom_edp_phy_ops_v3 to keep the LDO setting correct.

SC7280 and SC8180X previously shared the same cfg because they did not use

3011c365a3 phy: qcom: edp: Add eDP/DP mode switch support
The eDP PHY supports both eDP/DP modes, each requiring a different
swing/pre-emphasis table. However, the driver currently uses a fixed
static table for eDP programming rather than selecting the appropriate
table based on the current mode. Add separate tables for eDP and DP
modes, and select the appropriate table dynamically based on the
current mode.

Glymur's DP mode table differs from the other platforms, add a
dedicated table for it.

This also fixes the table mismatch for X1E80100 (eDP) and SA8775P (DP).

DP mode:
	-sa8775p/sc7280/sc8280xp/x1e80100

eDP mode(low vdiff):
