d5ad6ab61c wifi: mac80211: always free skb on ieee80211_tx_prepare_skb() failure
ieee80211_tx_prepare_skb() has three error paths, but only two of them
free the skb. The first error path (ieee80211_tx_prepare() returning
TX_DROP) does not free it, while invoke_tx_handlers() failure and the
fragmentation check both do.

Add kfree_skb() to the first error path so all three are consistent,
and remove the now-redundant frees in callers (ath9k, mt76,
mac80211_hwsim) to avoid double-free.

Document the skb ownership guarantee in the function's kdoc.

a536be9231 wifi: mac80211: Fix AAD/Nonce computation for management frames with MLO
Per IEEE Std 802.11be-2024, 12.5.2.3.3, if the MPDU is an
individually addressed Data frame between an AP MLD and a
non-AP MLD associated with the AP MLD, then A1/A2/A3
will be MLD MAC addresses. Otherwise, Al/A2/A3 will be
over-the-air link MAC addresses.

Currently, during AAD and Nonce computation for software based
encryption/decryption cases, mac80211 directly uses the addresses it
receives in the skb frame header. However, after the first
authentication, management frame addresses for non-AP MLD stations
are translated to MLD addresses from over the air link addresses in
software. This means that the skb header could contain translated MLD
addresses, which when used as is, can lead to incorrect AAD/Nonce
computation.

In the following manner, ensure that the right set of addresses are used:

In the receive path, stash the pre-translated link addresses in
ieee80211_rx_data and use them for the AAD/Nonce computations
when required.

In the transmit path, offload the encryption for a CCMP/GCMP key
to the hwsim driver that can then ensure that encryption and hence
the AAD/Nonce computations are performed on the frame containing the
right set of addresses, i.e, MLD addresses if unicast data frame and
link addresses otherwise.

To do so, register the set key handler in hwsim driver so mac80211 is
aware that it is the driver that would take care of encrypting the
frame. Offload encryption for a CCMP/GCMP key, while keeping the
encryption for WEP/TKIP and MMIE generation for a AES_CMAC or a
AES_GMAC key still at the SW crypto in mac layer

bf4afc53b7 Convert 'alloc_obj' family to use the new default GFP_KERNEL argument
This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

69050f8d6d treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar types
This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

Instead of matching the network namespace, match the netgroup of the radio
to limit radio removal to those that have been created by the closing
Netlink socket. The netgroup of a radio identifies the network namespace
it was created in, and matching on it removes a destroy_on_close radio
even if it has been moved to another namespace.

a3b16dfe79 wifi: mac80211_hwsim: advertise puncturing feature support
If userspace provides a puncturing bitmap via the NL80211_ATTR_PUNCT_BITMAP
attribute, the kernel with mac80211_hwsim driver currently rejects the
command with the error: "driver doesn't support puncturing", because the
driver does not advertise support for this feature.

At present, the following hwsim test cases utilize puncturing, but the
bitmap is not sent to the kernel. Instead, the puncturing information is
conveyed only through the beacon data:
 * eht_5ghz_80mhz_puncturing_override_1
 * eht_5ghz_80mhz_puncturing_override_2
 * eht_5ghz_80mhz_puncturing_override_3

A future change in hostapd will begin configuring the puncturing bitmap
explicitly, which will cause these test cases to fail unless the driver
advertises support.

To address this, update mac80211_hwsim driver to advertise puncturing
feature support.

a37a6f5443 wifi: mac80211_hwsim: Add simulation support for NAN device
Add support for simulating a NAN Device interface:

- Update interface limits to include support for NAN Device.
- Increase the number of supported HW addresses to allow unique
addresses for combination such as: station interface + P2P
Device interface + NAN Device interface.
- Declare support for NAN capabilities, specifically support for
NAN synchronization offload and NAN DE user space support.
- Add the relevant callbacks to support start/stop NAN Device
  operation.
- Use a timer to simulate starting a Discovery Window (currently
  the timer doesn't do much).
- Update the Tx path to simulate that the channel used for NAN
Device is either channel 6 or channel 149.
- Send DW notification when DW starts.
- Send cluster join notification when new cluster starts, or when an
existing cluster is joined. "Joining" is implemented by reusing the
cluster id of any other existing NAN management interface.

b74947b4f6 wifi: cfg80211/mac80211: Add support to get radio index
Currently, per-radio attributes are set on per-phy basis, i.e., all the
radios present in a wiphy will take attributes values sent from user. But
each radio in a wiphy can get different values from userspace based on
its requirement.

To extend support to set per-radio attributes, add support to get radio
index from userspace. Add an NL attribute - NL80211_ATTR_WIPHY_RADIO_INDEX,
to get user specified radio index for which attributes should be changed.
Pass this to individual drivers, so that the drivers can use this radio
index to change per-radio attributes when necessary. Currently, per-radio
attributes identified are:
NL80211_ATTR_WIPHY_TX_POWER_LEVEL
NL80211_ATTR_WIPHY_ANTENNA_TX
NL80211_ATTR_WIPHY_ANTENNA_RX
NL80211_ATTR_WIPHY_RETRY_SHORT
NL80211_ATTR_WIPHY_RETRY_LONG
NL80211_ATTR_WIPHY_FRAG_THRESHOLD
NL80211_ATTR_WIPHY_RTS_THRESHOLD
NL80211_ATTR_WIPHY_COVERAGE_CLASS
NL80211_ATTR_TXQ_LIMIT
NL80211_ATTR_TXQ_MEMORY_LIMIT
NL80211_ATTR_TXQ_QUANTUM

By default, the radio index is set to -1. This means the attribute should
be treated as a global configuration. If the user has not specified any
index, then the radio index passed to individual drivers would be -1. This
would indicate that the attribute applies to all radios in that wiphy.

f600832794 wifi: mac80211: restructure tx profile retrieval for MLO MBSSID
For MBSSID, each vif (struct ieee80211_vif) stores another vif
pointer for the transmitting profile of MBSSID set. This won't
suffice for MLO as there may be multiple links, each of which can
be part of different MBSSID sets. Hence the information needs to
be stored per-link. Additionally, the transmitted profile itself
may be part of an MLD hence storing vif will not suffice either.
Fix MLO by storing an instance of struct ieee80211_bss_conf
for each link.

Modify following operations to reflect the above structure updates:
- channel switch completion
- BSS color change completion
- Removing nontransmitted links in ieee80211_stop_mbssid()
- drivers retrieving the transmitted link for beacon templates.

57be3d3562 wifi: radiotap: Avoid -Wflex-array-member-not-at-end warnings
-Wflex-array-member-not-at-end was introduced in GCC-14, and we are
getting ready to enable it, globally.

So, in order to avoid ending up with a flexible-array member in the
middle of multiple other structs, we use the `__struct_group()`
helper to create a new tagged `struct ieee80211_radiotap_header_fixed`.
This structure groups together all the members of the flexible
`struct ieee80211_radiotap_header` except the flexible array.

As a result, the array is effectively separated from the rest of the
members without modifying the memory layout of the flexible structure.
We then change the type of the middle struct members currently causing
trouble from `struct ieee80211_radiotap_header` to `struct
ieee80211_radiotap_header_fixed`.

We also want to ensure that in case new members need to be added to the
flexible structure, they are always included within the newly created
tagged struct. For this, we use `static_assert()`. This ensures that the
memory layout for both the flexible structure and the new tagged struct
is the same after any changes.

This approach avoids having to implement `struct ieee80211_radiotap_header_fixed`
as a completely separate structure, thus preventing having to maintain
two independent but basically identical structures, closing the door
to potential bugs in the future.

So, with these changes, fix the following warnings:

bca8bc0399 wifi: mac80211: handle ieee80211_radar_detected() for MLO
Currently DFS works under assumption there could be only one channel
context in the hardware. Hence, drivers just calls the function
ieee80211_radar_detected() passing the hardware structure. However, with
MLO, this obviously will not work since number of channel contexts will be
more than one and hence drivers would need to pass the channel information
as well on which the radar is detected.

Also, when radar is detected in one of the links, other link's CAC should
not be cancelled.

Hence, in order to support DFS with MLO, do the following changes -
  * Add channel context conf pointer as an argument to the function
ieee80211_radar_detected(). During MLO, drivers would have to pass on
which channel context conf radar is detected. Otherwise, drivers could
    just pass NULL.
  * ieee80211_radar_detected() will iterate over all channel contexts
    present and
  	* if channel context conf is passed, only mark that as radar
  	  detected
  	* if NULL is passed, then mark all channel contexts as radar
  	  detected
  	* Then as usual, schedule the radar detected work.
  * In the worker, go over all the contexts again and for all such context
which is marked with radar detected, cancel the ongoing CAC by calling
ieee80211_dfs_cac_cancel() and then notify cfg80211 via
    cfg80211_radar_event().
  * To cancel the CAC, pass the channel context as well where radar is
detected to ieee80211_dfs_cac_cancel(). This ensures that CAC is
canceled only on the links using the provided context, leaving other
    links unaffected.

This would also help in scenarios where there is split phy 5 GHz radio,
which is capable of DFS channels in both lower and upper band. In this
case, simultaneous radars can be detected.
